Love Tradesy!

"I always have a positive experience shopping on Tradesy! I find great priced items including frequent sales. It's simple to search for what I am looking for- and I am likely to find it even if the designer stores don't carry them anymore.
The sellers I've had experience with 9/10 are always responsive and honest. I would definitely recommend users to trust shopping with Tradesy! And if an issue occurs, their customer service team is incredible and very accommodating.

Been Using Tradsey for Years!

"I was an avid user of Tradesy until they changed their shipping method. It was outrageous. I contacted them with my thoughts and concerns and told them I could not afford to shop on a site that my shipping was more than the item i purchased. I didn't shop for months but was looking for a particular set of Tory Burch earrings for my mother. I found them and also found that the shipping was included and the price of the earrings was very fair, less than I was finding elsewhere. So I am back and happily shopping as "addictivly" as I used to!"

Horrible

"Tradesty, this place is crazy nonsense, who is going to want to buy clothes, shoes, bags that are super tired of so much use, and only why they are designer brand these people abuses with soaring prices. I considered this an abuse and disrespect to customers. Places like this should be controlen by the consumer department."

Tried to Purchase

"Could not complete my purchase because your site keep telling me my email address is already signed up. No phone number to talk to any one. Tried and changed my password and the login stated my email does not exist. Very very difficult site to buy stuff. As of now i don,t know if my purchase went through or not, but it should not be this difficult to buy stuff. I am sure most people will just move on. Horrible site to purchase, and a waste of time."

Worst Customer service EVER!!!!

"I sold a sweater but was traveling at the time so apparently I shipped it one day late. Due to that, Tradesy had refunded the buyer (which I understand) but I contacted Tradesy to let them know the item had already been shipped and they said they would have to reach out to the buyer to see if she still wanted to buy it. after weeks of emails back and forth where I had to continually contact Tradesy over and over, they eventually said there was nothing they could do for me as the item had shipped late, thereby "violating their terms.." but you can see from the tracking info that my sweater was delivered to the buyer, so now the buyer gets a free sweater and I get NOTHING for my item. Tradesy never once offered to help in any way. My item is now STOLEN."

In the event a tracking number is not provided, the buyer will have the ability to request a cancellation for a full refund. Our Terms state that you should check on the status of your sale prior to shipping an item. In the event you have shipped an item out after 10 days and the order had been canceled, we must reach out to the buyer with 2 options - they can repurchase, or ship the item back to you.

Don't give them your account info!

"One thing that Tradesy has gong for them, is that every time I called that the customer service was super nice, and that's appreciated especially when things are not going as you might expect. Here is my story.

I sold 100 gold chargers on Tradesy, for $200 including UPS shipping. (My actual earnings would have been $165.26). I mailed them to the buyer and expected to be paid within 21 days as Tradesy site promises to do. The chargers were final sale and non-refundable. Upon receiving the chargers the buyer decided to return them because because few came in broken. (UPS was really rough on them despite my thick packaging). Tradesy decided to accept the return - despite their non-refundable policy. All this was happening behind my back. I had no idea that few chargers came in broken, that the buyer will be returning them, or that Tradesy accepted the return. That's when things went bad.

In order to refund the money to the buyer, Tradesy pulled money out of MY checking account despite the fact that I didn't yet receive payment for the sale. They did this without any communication with me - no email, no phone call - nothing! I just happened to pay my $500 student loan and my checking account was running low, and when Tradesy pulled the $165.26 out they overdraft my account. Seeing that Tradesy charged my checking account instead of depositing money into it, I called my bank, reported fraudulent charges and closed my Visa check card. Mind you this was a huge inconvenience, because that visa was connected to many other of my accounts who withdraw money from it on a weekly basis. (Federal Student Loans, humane society, garbage company and electrical company, etc). So now I have to call everyone and give them a new visa number which will take 7-10 business days to arrive, which means that I'm going to be late on some payments. (too late to send a check). Then I wrote to Tradesy asking them about what was happening. I got a polite response from Brendon who said that Tradesy realized that the broken plates were not my fault, and that they are refunding me the money that they pulled out of my account to pay back the buyer, PLUS they will be crediting my account $165.26 for the sale as well.

Few days passed by. I got the refund of the $165.26, and was waiting for the additional $165.26 for the sale, but it never came through. Instead I received a package containing 45 out of 100 of my gold chargers. WTH?!?! So I get on the phone ***-***-****) and not so nice lady tells me that I won't be getting the sale money back, because they are returning all the chargers to me. WHAT ABOUT THE $89 I PAID FOR SHIPPING?! - "That's on you," the lady said. So I wrote to Brandon again, asking him what's going on, and this is the reply I got:

"Hi,

I do believe that the chargers were sent in two packages, though I asked our team to not send you anything as I made sure that you received your earnings on the sale.

I am happy to reimburse your out of pocket shipping costs as well which I can do via PayPal. If you let me know your PayPal email address I can send an even $100 to you that way :)

OK. So it seems that the stuff is not communicating with each other. So I call Tradesy again. Now they are saying that they will keep the reminding 55 chargers, and pay pay me the money. I will let you know if they do. What a mess!

Honestly, this was a huge mess that could have been easily avoided if Tradesy just picked up the phone and called me or emailed me. But they were never the first one to reach out.
