"My overall experience was very positive. First, the item description was great and exactly what I was looking for. I heard from the seller right away and was notified that my package was shipped the next day. I tried to send the seller a response but it took me a while to figure out how to do so.
The only negative part of my experience was having to wait two extra days for the package to actually arrive. The USPS tracking service indicated that my package would arrive by end of day on Thursday. It did not arrive until after 4:00 pm on Saturday. The condition of the box was so damaged (torn in two places and wet from the rain) that I will be informing my local post office of the problem. Fortunately, the seller had protected the item internally and it survived the journey undamaged.
I like the fact that Tradesy offered an introductory promo code for my first purchased which I used for the sale. It was very much appreciated. However, because I did not check back until the next day to track the package, I did not see the additional promo codes that were offered that were even bigger than the one I used.
I am usually not good at selling things, but the way Tradesy is structured, I may have to reconsider becoming an active seller as well as a buyer.

"I made a purchase for 3 items on my Platinum American Express business card on June 18th 2017. They shipped one item & emailed me saying that I needed to verify my card before shipping the others. I called them & verified, they (specifically Blair) confirmed that the items would ship.I later get an email saying my order was cancelled. My American Express was charged over $6,000. not pending but POSTED charge. I called and emailed and got no answer. I called from my boyfriends phone and Blair answered. I asked to speak to a manger and she told me she was busy. I told her i planned to report them for fraud and she immediately said Liz (the manager) is available now. Liz was not apologetic at all, and told me that her security team decided to cancel the order and would not let me know why. I told her that I wanted a full refund for the shoes they shipped because I did not want to do further business with them or spend money with them. Liz told me she would not be able to honor a refund. I am furious at the way I have been treated."
"I love everything about selling and buying on Tradesy especially selling. You don't have to deal with low-ball offers like on other sites but the time it takes to get your funds after the sale is outrageously long!!! They will tell you 21 days, in my opinion that is way too long!!!! Your designer item is in the hands of its new owner and being used and you have not received any compensation for it. Then they could scratch or rip then decide to return after a few days and you then have to wait another 21 days for the return! This seriously needs improvement! The other site I am on, the buyer accepts the item once it arrives in 3 days then your funds are released! I hope they will review this process and improve because I do love the site!"
