"My package was dropped off at the ups place 15 minutes away from were I live. It was a Saturday so I would have to Wait until Monday for it to arrive to my house. This happened to me both times I've shipped things with ups. I would not recommend using ups ever. "
"I rarely add reviews to any sites because they probably don't matter, but this situation was terrible. First, I ordered an item with next day shipping and paid extra money approx. $50. On the day and time of delivery I was at home--the driver must have tapped on the outer door (glass) and placed the InfoNotice on the outer door. He never opened the screen door and used the knocker handle.
Then when ZI called the 8-- number several times I was given wrong information. It was just a very unprofessional situation--I dislike the fact that unless it is a personal issue companies do not care.
UPS is a major delivery service and can afford to treat their customer this way. If you don't like it what are you going to do!!"
"Use UPS if you want your item destroyed. I have had three items shipped using them in the last 60 days- all damaged. One was a subwoofer shipped from he store and it had to be returned before it even got to me because of extensive damage. Savage Baggage Masters. I will NEVER use them again."
"UPS is THE best delivery service! I had a parcel from Fed ex delivered this morning, bout 9 am they threw my box on my porch and left... UPS Also made a delivery today, they brought my box up to the porch and knocked on my door before they left. "You expect this company to deliver your packages on time and in good condition, that's their business and they usually do. But if they don't, trying to deal with them is, consistently a nightmare. I am a mail order biz and would much rather use the USPS, at least when they screw up (much more rarely than UPS) you either have no recourse, or they promptly fix it, no runaround"
"In a nutshell... my shipment was delayed due to bad weather. All the drivers were pulled back in. I scheduled with the shipper and ups for me to pick it up at a facility and was told to be there between 8:15 and 9:15 p.m. they said if anything change so UPS would call me and let me know. Three people called me to confirm the time from UPS. Around 6 o'clock I figured I would check just to make sure I didn't make the trip for nothing I was told that yes indeed I could pick up my package. I arrived at the facility at 7:55. All the lights were off nobody was there. I called UPS and they told me that the facility would not be opening and my shipment was not available. I drove 40 minutes one way in a blizzard out of my way to get there and they didn't have the decency to let me know that I couldn't even pick it up. I hope to God I never have to deal with UPS again"

Ok, besides being slow and covering 14 hr driving distance delivery in 4 (4 !!!) days, their call center **** is to say the least.Last time I ordered exercizing eqyipment I had to talk about my local delivery to guys in Guatemala(Guatemala!!!).Ok , good thing they are not in India and understand English, I don't mind accents, but they told me there was no way for them to contact the driver(I wanted to make sure I am home at time of delivery).So they ended up just dropping my expensive stuff right in front of the building like a pile of trash, exposed to elements and luckily for me there were no thieves with a pick up or a van.
My last order was placed in Fresno at 5 pm or so 1.19 and as off 4.34 pm on a 1.20 is still in transit,had to give them business address,hoping they would not drop my parcel in a pile of snow if nobody answers the door."
"This is a horrible company to deal with. They delivered a parcel to a completely different address. I had to wait on hold for over 30 minutes to talk to someone (no approximate wait times given, no call back service). When I finally got to talk with someone they were no help at all and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they lied and said there weren't any supervisors there! Terrible service from a company that obviously has no interest in customer service. "

"I offered to pick it up but they even would not give me that option because they are passing it to USPS. Not to mention, the re-scheduled delivery was after 1 business day later inspite of being delayed already. I don't know why Amazon seller use UPS still. "I asked the phone agent to file a complaint that I was not notified for failed delivery (no note left at my door, no email message, no text, no call, nothing, parcel simply returned to sender). He tried to dissuade me from doing that. I asked him to file the complaint and let speak me to a supervisor. He responded that the supervisor will place the complaint and he put me on hold for ever until the call was dropped. He was nervous, short tempered, and rude. He clearly did not want me to file a complaint for failure to inform me about failed delivery."
