"I have had packages sent to me through UPS for many years and I will never want another package of mine sent through them again. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered to me on Jan 20, 2015 in the evening so it is dark out. As I am checking my tracking number online for the status I notice that that it said delivered. Well I am confused because no one knocked or rang my doorbell. I look outside and nothing. Then I go back online to check the message again and it said left at side door well my home does not have a side door. So I call UPS customer service and they tell me that they will send the driver back. When the driver gets here he pulls up to the house where he left the package and talk to them about the package, then he comes to my home and ask did I get my package. Well duh, no, if so I would not have called. If my neighbor saw it they most definitely would have given it to me. The driver does his little paperwork and this is where it gets interesting. Instead of him making note that he left it at the wrong house he puts down that the customer claims to not have received it to cover his hide. This makes it his word against mine now. So here it is one month later and I am still trying to figure out when will I be compensated for my package. The driver put my package at the wrong house and the manager is telling me to go and file a police report. How am I going to go and file a report for something taken off someone else'S property? I provided proof of pictures of my home and my neighbor's home to prove I do not have a side door and my neighbor does. I also showed pictures of my mail box with numbers and a reflective number plate and huge reflective numbers on my house. So a blind man can find my house and I am still being given the run around. This is after they closed my case 3 times and I had to have them re-open it. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH UPS. YOUR PACKAGE WILL NOT BE HANDLED PROPERLY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP!!!!! "
"The only parce the parcle these guys know to do, is with your time. Lee (the only lee in the office) wouldnt even give me his boss name, not that he seemed ashamed at his awful demeaner. The y were more upset i knew their direct line which is 01322272731 ;) ......latest .. they just phoned now and said the reason i wouldnt get my package is that the driver was taken into hospital. very sad."
"UPS is the worst shipping company I've ever encountered. The people that work for them are utterly incompetent. What kind of person who has finished kindergarten would think it's a good idea to leave a package at the front door of an apartment complex; they're unbelievable. In the future if I'm buying an item online and I see that UPS will be handling the shipping of the item, I don't think it's worth buying."
"I'm a first time customer of a UPS / United Parcel Service of America for a goods delivery in London, England UK. It seems to me that the Tracking / InfoNotice web page is of dubious quality as a customer user interface. Maybe I'm going blind but it makes specific reference to a 'button' to correct my address and the page has no such button on it! I took a screenshot in PDF to email it to their customer service for feedback but can't find a way to attach it to the email message in the website and I don't know their email address to send it directly via an email client application - so I'm using that PDF as my image. I spoke with an customer service person prior to this observation to confirm arrangements for redelivery as we were unavailable on previous delivery attempts and was told quite clearly it was on the van for delivery the same day later in the afternoon. Two hours later at the beginning of the delivery window time I check online for the delivery status of the goods via My UPS, only to be facing a message that reads... "The shipping address provided is either incorrect or incomplete. Please provide the correct shipping address by selecting the Correct My Address button below." So I promptly phone UPS reminding them that three attempts to deliver have already been made to our address (we have the THREE - QR code slips with the yellow border and barcode / InfoNotice number) and was told the goods are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. So what about, the online message I'm looking at saying the address is incomplete? How did manage to stick three slips through my front door? what about the phone call I made this morning and the confirmation I was given that the items were already on a van for delivery this afternoon? I say all this to the UPS customer service. He replies "we've no record of that information sir". Well I'm stunned, I really am. What an example of an IT system or its usage by the staff. I wish vendors state the courier service that they use when purchases or orders are being placed because if they use a courier who just messes me about or leaves me with no confidence that they can't provide the service which they brag about - rest assured I'll buy from elsewhere. I'm not bound by cheapest price. I'm prepared to pay for a service - and provide a genuine system of feedback that can alert your business to failings as reported by customers. We can all make mistakes - David C."
"Blatant lying by a company is intolerable. In tracking information it stated "We're attempting to update the address. / We've contacted the receiver to request additional information" Which there were NO ATTEMPTS to contact. The vendor contacted UPS the day prior to update the address and the next day I called and they stated they didn't have the number and most likely we weren't contacted since there was no contact information listed. "

" I live in Marion Illinois. For the second time recently (and several more times in the past) I have found packages left on my porch for my neighbor. I'm damned tired of completing their deliveries for them. I'm sure they're well paid for my doing their job. From now on I'll deliver it back to UPS, not my neighbor--as many times as it takes for them to figure it out."
"Worst service ever. I ordered an item at ebay and It will take 10 days to receive my package from California to Puerto Rico with UPS Ground. I received packages from China at the same time frame (but heyy they are FROM CHINA). USPS Priority Flat Rate Mail is faster and cheaper. I can't believe that UPS takes that long to deliver a package, I don't recommend UPS Ground service, go with USPS Priority (3days)."
"Terrible customer service!!! I was waiting on a package and NEVER GOT IT!!! I wasn't home today due to me working. When I come home I see my 1st info notice about a package and its a FINAL ATTEMPT! How if I was home since last Monday and Monday evening had my first case left around 8pm for an urgent care call. And they don't wanna do anything about it!!! They didn't do their job right and I need to pay the price for another shipping because of their mistakes? They couldn't even tell me who the package was coming from... And didn't wanna get me to a supervisor. (I am expecting multiple packages, including out of country) I am very upset and unhappy customer!!!"
"I will NEVER use UPS ever again. I signed up for a UPS account back in May b/c I was starting a small business. At the time, I was unaware that the type of account I signed up for charged a $10/week fee just to be signed up. My business is taking off slowly and I did not use the service and was unknowing being charged for months without use. A few months later I received a $200 bill for all of those weeks. Realizing that I must not have read the account information close enough when signing up, I called UPS customer service to request that they take care of the fines b/c of my lack of understanding as a favor, fully understanding if they were to say no. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they said they would take care of all of it AND switch me to an account with no fees. Thought it was taken care of. WRONG. I got a bill the next month. Called again. "Your fees are now taken care of" WRONG AGAIN! Bill the next month! When I called again they said the fees were again taken care of and I cancelled my account. This month: A NOTICE FROM A COLLECTIONS AGENCY!!!!! WTF UPS! For 4 different fees totaling $43.67. Whomever answers the phone at UPS "Customer Service" today is going to be sorry they did. No one there is trustworthy nor do they care when you say you will never use UPS again. As bad as dealing with a cable company, and thats a low blow. "
"I never get "UPS" packages I leave a request to leave it at my door. I get my post office packages and my FedEx packcages, but never UPS. It seems very strange to me, UPS packages get stolen all the time, but the others do not. I won't trust them to leave a package at my door again. I'll drive the 13 miles to their customer service center to pick it up. Which leads me to my next complaint. You can just say I'll pick it up at your nearest store like FedEx and Post office. It COST an additonal $5 to do that. So I have to drive out the way in DC traffic to pick up the packcage. Unfortunately, most of the online companies I shop with have switched to UPS, I'm sure because they are low balling contracts now. But hey, you can do that with shaby, shady, service. UPS, I NO LONGER TRUST YOU AS A COMPANY. I WILL GO OUT MY WAY TO USE ANOTHER SERVICE IF I HAVE THE CHOICE. "
"These people are HORRID. They delivered somebody's medication to us by mistake even though the address was plainly printed on the front of the package. They thew it on top of our truck. For three days we made phone calls telling them to come pick this back up. Nobody ever came. Finally, my husband took it the UPS office and they were nassty as can be. They told my husband he 'had to pay to send it back." My husband said, "I don't have to do anything. You delivered this to me by mistake." Then she said, "Well you HAVE to call this number!" Again, my hubby said, "I don't HAVE to do anything!" and he walked out. I hope the medicine in that box was not insulin or something that was desperately needed to sustain someone's life. These driver's obviously can't read and address label. They don't respond to phone calls. And the people in their office are beyond horrible to deal with. We have had UPS drivers through our packages in the middle of the street, rather than drive down our driveway. They don't care how they handle packages - they throw them around despite 'fragile' being marked all over them. I can't say eeenough bad about these awful people. "
"Worst customer service ever. No professionalism.
I scheduled a pickup. the UPS person showed up 2 hours before the scheduled time. I wasn't ready with the package yet. He said he will come back at a specific time. He didn't show up at that time. Later when I checked with the customer service, they said that he showed up at some other time and he left. and UPS cannot pickup my package and I have to wait for 2 more days.
When I insisted to talk to a manager, I was put on hold. As I write I am still waiting to talk to the manager. Its been 30 mins now and still counting.
Worst experience you could get when you are relocating and stuff like this happens."
"Very unsatisfied with ups services they should put with order tracking that your order will require a signature. I paid extra to get a package in 2 days and it was not left on my door because signature was required and I won't be receiving my package for another two days. I wouldn't have paid extra shipping if I would have known that!! I won't be using ups again !!!"
"They always delay shipping packages, slow shipping. I had two shipping recently that's a 2days guarantee shipping end up delay to 4-5days. 1 missed my daughter xmas gift, xmas was thursday. 2days shipping suppose to arrive wednesday. Now another shipment suppose to come in today as I ordered monday & 2days prime suppose to come today. It's pushed back to monday that's 4 days later. So it got pushed back 3 days later... USPS/FEDEX rocks."
