"ok I'm annoyed, thank you that I used "good service" of UPS. I sent a package with Christmas gifts to my friend in Mexico.
The package is held by customs UPS, at first they confiscated cookies, chocolates, candies and a firm soap for some global terms. Never had such experience before and I sent already several times chocolates or cookies via DHL to the friend in Mexico. It was first trauma.
Now they found another reason why to hold the package, maybe they want to keep for themself? Now they request to check if are registered trademarks of the goods which are imported..PUMA, ADIDAS, TOMMY Hilfiger, DOUGLAS . The reason for prevent from piracy. My god I know I can't send piracy products, I bought them 100% original! I would like to know since when they care about it when there so much criminals, drug dealers, and piracy goods in Mexico? I just wanted to send a few gifts to my friend in Mexico, to make him happy. Instead of that he and me have nervs. So much money I paid for services, big mistake that I chosen at this time UPS (usually I send packages to Mexico via DHL). UPS never again, at least not for international shipping. I used DHL and never had such problems before, yes was slow but no problem at the custom clearance and yes they did open the package.
Now I ask how can you help? We dont have experience with checking trademarks and proving, how to do it? No one helps!"
"There are absolutely no words for how incredibly pissed off and annoyed I am with this piece of shit company! After looking through all the comments Im honestly surprised at how they are still in business. For starters they delivered my package to the WRONG FUCKING ADRESS! REALLY?! Ive called several times looking for an answer as to why my package has been delivered to the wrong and what exactly are they going to do about this issue. I was told by two different representatives that I would receive a call within an hour...I have yet to wait for that call.... Save your apologies theyre absolutely worthless all I want is my package delivered to me. Thats it! Why is that so hard?! NEVER NEVER NEVER AM I USING THIS SHITIE ASS SERVICE AGAIN AND I WOULDNT RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!!!"
"Never Ever Send A TV in UPS or anything:
This was the worst shipping experience i ever had. When i reloacted to a new place, i decided to send my household things through UPS. The fact that drew me to this option is , of course the low rates. But in no time i realised that i had to spend more money to replace all those things i send through UPS.
It gave me a light stroke when i found my household stuff was damaged when i received them but i was totally devastated when i found my TV completely broken. I couldn't even figure out how they managed to break it because the package looked perfectly okay when i received it but TV inside was completely shattered. They might have taken my TV outside and dropped it from a mountain or something to break it like that..because i have packed it very well with all the required packaging rules that they have mentioned in their dumb website. The worst part is i have insured my TV before sending it and when i contacted the UPS for claiming my insurance they said they will "NEVER DISCLOSE ANY DETAILS TO ME REGARDING why i lost my insurance because i am not the shipper"And to the shipper, they gave someother lame excuse like "GUARENTEE HAS BEEN VOID"..Can anyone decipher this code from UPS? "
"I was supposed to have received my package from Amazon in 2 days. It is now 6 days and have been told by UPS that they tried delivering my package twice and that no one was there to receive it... and a notice was left at the door. Well, we were there and there was no notices left. I spoke to a customer service rep and that took 30 minutes between numerous waits and was told that a supervisor would be calling me that day... Which never happened!
I'll be cancelling my Amazon Prime membership soon if this continues to happen.

"I will never use UPS for shipping again! Horribly unreliable and indifferent customer service. I ordered a package and finally received it over 11 days later than the expect date after they claimed my address didn't exist, then sent it to my old address, and then finally after contacting ups for the 4th time, I kept prompting to speak to a representative(which was also very different because they kept sending me to automated prompts), I was then told after all of the mistakes made on their part, there was no reason listed as to why that happened and my shipment was due out today. Good thing my package was not a perishable item! Please save yourself the frustration and steer clear of UPS for any shipment of materials! "
"TERRIBLE! Ordered an item with expedited shipping to have a guaranteed delivery date of 11/26/2014 just to have it rescheduled by UPS because they didn't unload the truck. Called several times to see if I could even just pick up the package from the facility and got a VERY rude rep. I was supposed to receive a call back from a supervisor/manager after that, no one ever called. I called their 800 3 times today and never got it resolved. I expected way better customer service than what I received. I've learned my lesson and will be sticking with FedEx from now on."

"I cannot stress how much I hate UPS! Every single time I have had to deal with them it has been beyond stressful. Their prices are outrageous compared to other shipping options. Half the drop off locations they have listed do not exist, and the customer service reps are useless and rude. Delivery is a horror as well. Packages are never dropped off on time. Best advice I can give, avoid UPS at all costs. FedEx is much, much better!"
"I am just so mad at their so called "tracking" , it doesn't even DO ANYTHING! I checked and it said that it reached my local post office in three days, but no it didn't. It's been over two weeks it was supposed to arrive! I am just DONE with it, also I'm not the only one dissatisfied with UPS where I live. "ANY delivery company is better than UPS. I deal with them often as I order parts from the USA often (I am in Canada) and there is ALWAYS an issue. This time, I had called them in advance to let them know I wanted to self-clear my package. First the representative on the phone told me I could not do this and I had to pay their extra duty fees. I told her that BY LAW I was allowed and always was able to do this in the past with them. She put me on hold and then came back saying I could but had to wait until the package arrived in the port of entry (which I knew) but would not put a note in the file and told me to call tomorrow when it arrived. So I called the next day and asked again to self-clear and put a note in the file to hold the package. This time they tell me that they cannot put a note to hold package until one delivery attempt is made (which is bull), even though I told them I would not be home to receive it . Well after I missed the package delivery it finally went back to their hub, so I called and asked them to please hold it there and send me the documents to self-clear. The person on the phone was helpful and took my e-mail and phone number and seemed to know what he was doing, said the package would be held and I should get the paperwork emailed to me soon. Well the next morning, I look at the tracking and it states that my package had been RETURNED to SENDER in the US! I called and had to straighten the whole ordeal out, now they have to stop the package at the port before it leaves and send it back to the hub. And I still have not received the paperwork for self-clearing my package. WHAT A DISASTER!"

"So I order a vaporizer online, because it's cheaper than going to the hospital to receive treatments, and have to wait and make appointments. I was guaranteed a delivery date and canceled my appointment to try to save me some money, since I just forked out over $200 for said vaporizer. So, because of someone else's error I get screwed and have my delivery date changed, even though I paid extra for faster delivery. They offered no reimbursement, nor did it seem like they cared at all. This type of shoddy postal service is the reason I will be permanently switching to their competitor FedEx. I've never had any problems with them, but I tried to save some money and chose UPS. Worst mistake I made trusting them with their guarantee, that apparently doesn't mean anything. This is about the same as a company saying they made something new, when they really don't have anything at all. I hope no one else has to deal with UPS and their lies, they need to be held to their guarantees regardless. They have permanently lost my business. "
"just want to say that i was expecting a package to be delivered at my address, the package was directed to me, i live in an apartment complex where i sublet a room but i am not a lease holder, my roommate had to move out, and left me behind. when my package arrived the UPS driver for some reason did not try to make another attempt the next day when he did not find me at home, he just decided to take the package to the leasing office and have someone else sign for my package. where all the problems come from. why the driver did not take the package back and make another attempt, and a third attempt to deliver the package rather than having some random person sign off for my personal item. now the leasing office are refusing to release the package, neither to me nor to the ups driver. i called the customer service and spoke to four maybe five supervisors asking them to reroute my package, or at least issue a new label which i am willing to pay for. instead they asked me to call the police, and ask them to help me retrieve my package. what a great care for customers. i think if i need to call the police, i would call them and file a preach of trust against the UPS driver who intentionally refused to make at least a second attempt to deliver my package and obtain a valid signature, rather than taking my items to a leasing office and leave me vulnerable to precede and vengeance . thank you UPS. the amount of time it will take me to contact the shipper to reroute my package is going to cost me more than the package. and i hope that you wont have your driver obtain random signatures so you can reduce the cost of operation and save on gas.. never UPS again"
