"So I order a vaporizer online, because it's cheaper than going to the hospital to receive treatments, and have to wait and make appointments. I was guaranteed a delivery date and canceled my appointment to try to save me some money, since I just forked out over $200 for said vaporizer. So, because of someone else's error I get screwed and have my delivery date changed, even though I paid extra for faster delivery. They offered no reimbursement, nor did it seem like they cared at all. This type of shoddy postal service is the reason I will be permanently switching to their competitor FedEx. I've never had any problems with them, but I tried to save some money and chose UPS. Worst mistake I made trusting them with their guarantee, that apparently doesn't mean anything. This is about the same as a company saying they made something new, when they really don't have anything at all. I hope no one else has to deal with UPS and their lies, they need to be held to their guarantees regardless. They have permanently lost my business. "
"just want to say that i was expecting a package to be delivered at my address, the package was directed to me, i live in an apartment complex where i sublet a room but i am not a lease holder, my roommate had to move out, and left me behind. when my package arrived the UPS driver for some reason did not try to make another attempt the next day when he did not find me at home, he just decided to take the package to the leasing office and have someone else sign for my package. where all the problems come from. why the driver did not take the package back and make another attempt, and a third attempt to deliver the package rather than having some random person sign off for my personal item. now the leasing office are refusing to release the package, neither to me nor to the ups driver. i called the customer service and spoke to four maybe five supervisors asking them to reroute my package, or at least issue a new label which i am willing to pay for. instead they asked me to call the police, and ask them to help me retrieve my package. what a great care for customers. i think if i need to call the police, i would call them and file a preach of trust against the UPS driver who intentionally refused to make at least a second attempt to deliver my package and obtain a valid signature, rather than taking my items to a leasing office and leave me vulnerable to precede and vengeance . thank you UPS. the amount of time it will take me to contact the shipper to reroute my package is going to cost me more than the package. and i hope that you wont have your driver obtain random signatures so you can reduce the cost of operation and save on gas.. never UPS again"

Spoke to two different people who contradicted one another ("we won't leave a package out front in a high traffic area." "Absolute worst service ever. I waited fro my package, on last attempt. I sat by my door, heard no knock whatsoever. By 9pm, realizing my package hadn't arrived, I called UPS. The first customer service agent, Sydney, told me it was in route back to the sender and it was my fault for choosing this company, when asking for a manager she hung up on me. The second agent I talked to told me a manager would call me tomorrow. The manager herself said there was nothing she could do, that the UPS man did knock (insinuating that I was a liar)and that I would have to repay for the package to go out. We will be using Fed Ex from now on."
"Paid extra for expedited shipping. Waited outside my house from 6:50PM till 7:30PM. Driver skips my home at 7:21PM, and then marks it as "attempt made." No slip, notice, nothing. Don't pay the premium for terrible service, go Fedex instead. "
"they lost a package I was shipping from Ontario to Michigan, I got the run around for 6 weeks before I was able to put in a claim, claimed $1300.00 US and they wrote me a cheque for $830.00 CDN
it was a brand new part, I burn for $600.00
we strongly recommend you use fed ex instead.

"An item was supposed to be sent to my house on the 2nd of September. The driver came met the kids and demanded for certain payment. They gave him cash he rejected and also rejected a debit card requesting for credit card which they did not have. I later called UPS and told them to re-deliver and I will give them a cheque. 8 days after they still have not delivered."
"UPS has to be THE WORST deliver company on the planet. We ordered something from Home Depot. They use UPS. The package went from north of us, to south of us, to north of us -- & now the effing morons at UPS are holding the package until they can figure a way to deliver it via the USPS, which doesn't deliver to our home. "Horriible service! I requested a pick up around 1 pm. I was told it was going to be anywhere from then and 7pm. My package was never picked up and I was told my customer service to simply leave my box outside!
Another thing I don't get is WHY I can't prepay for a package. That feature is only for Airmail. I got the runaround and had to be on the phone with no solutions. I just had to do it all over and still pay in the end. For their error. NEVER USING UPS AGAIN. I RATHER USE A PIGEON. "

This is the second time I missed their delivery attempt because of work or class and I have called a few times now and the only option they can give me is to drive to Ontario to the Customer Center to pick it up. I refuse to do that because I have in the past and I waited an HOUR before receiving any help from an employee. I am so tired of this company it makes me sick to my stomach every time I am told I am having a package delivered by it. I am really frustrated that no one wants to do anything about all these upset customer complaints they are receiving, they are not concerned with the issues they cause their customers by their lack of service. "They are very irresponsible. They did not deliver my item at all. The item weight was 9.60 kg. How can they lost it? It doesn't make sense. The delivery time was 12, Aug 2014 then they changed the date to 13, Aug and then so on. They were continuously amending the date of delivery. When I contacted them, they said they did not have any info about my parcel. What a poor customer service. They wasted my time and money. I will never consider them in future. If you want a headache, then go for UPS. I wish I can give them the review in negative number. They even don't deserve 1 star."
