"I placed an order for a digital camera from this company. I received an email asking me to call a tollfree number regarding my order. I called the number and was immediately put on hold for about 25 minutes. When I finally got to speak to a customer rep, I found the store had unbundled the manufacturer's packaging and was trying to sell them as extras. This meant that the final price would be much higher than even the highest prices I had seen when researching the item. When I refused to go along the customer rep became extremely abusive. I was totally shocked at the way he talked to me and treated me. This is definitely a disreputable store. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!"
"This is the worst store you could possibly imagine...just like everyone else said I got the message saying to contact Donald...I did so, and he told me that they were just selling a camera without the firmware for that price...I told him I could get the same camera for the same price as them, and to cancel the order, and the seller insulted me, saying it was impossible and I was stupid to think I could get the camera for that cheap...well I got my camera for that cheap, and it works and has all accessories I needed...please, do yourself the biggest favor in the world...and just stay away from this site! They are scam-artists and they are very aggressive! They don't deserve to be able to call themselves a "store"...they are a JOKE."
"USAPhotoNation.com is a major scam. I ordered a digital camera from their site that they had it for about $60 less that the market price, then when I did not recieve a confirmation email, I checked my order online, and as you can guess, I found a message telling me to contact them. I called and they asked why I don't want the whole retail box!!!! I found out that they lied in their website and the item they had online was just the camera without anything not even the battery. I canceled the order right away. PS: They are very rude on the phone. Stay away from them."
"I wanted to purchase the Canon SD550. The price was $60-$100 below everyone else, so I called ot ask if this was the standard package and came with the battery and charger and "everything that it normally comes with." In other words, I asked if it was the retail package. So I purchased the camera online. I recieved an email stating I needed to speak with a specific representative at USAphotonation. I called customer service and they were not very friendly (more accurately, they are not trained in how to talk in a friendly customer service way), but they routed me to the representative in question. After giving him the requested information, he asked if I needed a battery and charger. I said that I asked a sales rep and it was supposed to come with it. He said that it only came with the camera body (no wriststrap, manual, battery, etc...). I decided I wanted to cancel my order because I could get the retail package for less than they offer. After 5 minutes of bickering, he lies and says that their cost price of the camera is $400, which is 10 more dollars that Zipzoomfly and newegg sell it for, so I knew he was lying. I say I just want to cancel and he says that there will be a 7% cancellation fee. I tell him to go ahead and cancel my order and I will talk to my credit card company. He says (and this is almost verbatim), "You have to tell us what kind of dispute it will be so we can be prepared for it." I said, "No, I do not have to tell you anything. You will find out what type of dispute it is after my credit card company calls you." Conversation ends. Luckily I have used a "Virtual Credit Card" through my platinum Citi Card. I cancel that virtual card as fast as I can. I then call my CC company and ask if there have been any charges. They say no, but someone has tried to charge my card about 9 times for $21.95, but it has not gone through. Game over, I have won. USA Photo Nation has terrible business practices. Falsely (and not fully) advertised products and lying representatives. "
"This company is a bait and switch ripoff artist. After ordering a digital camera from USAPhotoNation.com I received an email saying I need to call them regarding the order. When I called, the representative tried to sell me batteries and memory cards, which I do not need more of. Then he said this camera is a "gray market" model that does not include the manual, cable, etc., (and I imagine no warranty) but that I could order the full USA model for $90 more. When I threatened to call my credit card company he agreed to cancel the order for free, waiving the 20% restocking fee, which I don't see how they could charge since they did not even ship the camera yet. Stay away from USAPhotoNation.com."
"WHAT A RIPOFF!! DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS HERE!!
I ordered a television after repeatedly being told that the product was in stock (by Jason and Jamie). When I wouldn't purchase other cables or an extended warranty, I was left on hold for about 20 minutes, and hung up on. I called back 5 times, only to be left on hold for another 20 minutes and hung up on. I called back and asked and spoke to their supervisor (Donald) who told me that the product was not in stock. I presume a lie - I called back and was told that if I purchased the extended warranty they could ship it out that day. I again later called under a different name and again was told that it was absolutely in stock! I informed Donald that I would do my best to inform the public of their underhanded and fraudlent practices, and his response was that he would see to it that I would be "BlackListed" from about 20 websites that they are affiliated with! Not once did he apologize! I wouldn't doubt that my credit card will be charged!
WORST COMPANY EVER!!! BUYER BE VERY VERY AWARE!"
"Bait and Switch - This company advertises a very low price on a product and then you get contacted by email to review your order and a salesman does the bait and switch. In addition I called back 1 hour later to cancel the order after talking with Canon Cameras and they said I couldn't cancel it and threatend to ruin my credit rating."
"The absolute worst. Seller has numerous different stores and none have a good rating. Check the BBB and also look at the NY Secretary of State office. The real name of the business is STOP4CAMERA, INC. CEO is Admoun Ackhabaz - address 1809 Coney Island Ave Brooklyn, NY, 11230"
"Avoid this so-called store at all costs! I just tried to purchase the Sony HVR-Z1U hi-def camera from these guys at a posted price of $3,099.00 -- they're constantly promoting their latest, greatest sale on Google. I completed the order on line where I noticed there was no listing of product contents, just a phone number to call for details. Compare this with B&H or Zoomania where all contents are spelled out. (This should have immediately sent off alarm bells but I've always had great experience with Internet stores.)
As with everyone who has written here, I then received an e-mail notice to contact a sales rep. I did so via phone and he proceeded to explain that the camera was an overseas, wholesale version (huh?), not NTSC compatible, with nothing but the body. If I wanted the regular retail US package with a NTSC adapator (?)it would be about $4,800.00. I told him this was the grossest case of bait and switch I'd ever seen and could not imagine why they'd be selling such a camera in the American market. He gave me some bull about how professionals buy these for backup parts. Yeah, right. I will now need to make sure that my cancelled order was never charged to my credit card.
USA Photo Nation is in the same pit as Express Camera, Wawa Digital, Best Digital Online and Royal Camera. Every one of these pathetic operations is quite simply running a scam. Read the reviews if you doubt what I say."

"I bought a 10.5mm Nikon lens and a Canon Powershot digital camera from this company. They would not take the order online without calling me on the phone to try to sell me more stuff. The charger which is supposed to come with the camera was suddenly a extra item?? What? What a bunch of scumbags. My scumbag sales rep was jason. ****@****
Well when I got the lens in the mail they canceled the camera off of my order and invoice without telling me and raised the price of the lens $100.00. I guess the margin on the camera wasnt ood enough to sell it to me? All of the e-mails and the online reciept do not show the price or what I ordered so I have no proof of this. They did that for a reason. SCUMBAG ALERT!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCUM!!!!"
"Order placed for a Canon SD 30 camera. Shipped price including expedited shipping, $233.95. The next day i get an e-mail asking to call aobut my order.
I dont mind onliners checking for fraud, I don't even mind a bottom priced operation offering me to buy a case or an extra battery, they need to make some money but these people are scam artists of the sleeziest type.
After 7 pohone calls I speak to Bill, who tell me the camera has no battery or charger as ordered. Seems they re-package stuff or maybe claim to repackage it. This guy was so obnoxious and extreemly pushy. I dont get pushed too easily. I feel sorry for the poor sucker who is not able to fight back as they will be defrauded by this company.
I know I should read a real review before buying, but I was in a hurry and this was for my daughter whose camera has broken.
Lesson of the day. 1) USAphotonation.com is a bait and switch operation of the worst (typical) type. 2) The salesman "threatened" to place me on the internet buying red flag list. Amazing arrogance.
If you have no conscience i suppose you can sleep at night after working in this place. They are in NY as are most of these scummy companies. Sadly there are many reputable Brooklyn based companies. These guys give online retailers a very bad name. Avoid at all costs is my advice.

"I do not recommend doing business with this company. It will probably be an unpleasant experience if you attempt to do so.
I tried to order a Cannon SD550 on their web site, which is very professional and operates well, except that it didn't show a price of the camera at check out, only shipping charges. I called their toll free number, and was put on an extended hold, after being transferred a couple of times, and finally after 30 minutes, had to hang up to go to work. I assumed there was a problem with their web site, which they would be happy to learn about and repair, and in fact, the following day I was able to place my order with no difficulty.
I then received an e-mail message requesting I contact "Kenny" at their toll free number. I was connected shortly, and was immediately asked why I would purchase only the camera; "didn't I want the accessories?" Of course I did, but I didn't expect them to charge extra for what would normally come in the box if purchased from another store (such as battery and charger). The salesman stated that the web site showed it was only the camera for sale, although that wasn't clear at all to me when I rechecked later. It didn't explicitly state accessories were included; I assumed that basic required items to operate the camera would come with the camera.
The final price of the camera with basic accessories and shipping would have been far greater than with most other stores (even after he offered to discount accessory prices and shipping), and I asked that the order be cancelled. The salesman became loud and abusive, obviously using high-pressure tactics. I said that he was using bait and switch sales methods that were fraudulent. He responded that if I cancelled my order I would be charged a cancellation fee, and that I would be charged sales tax if I ordered from another dealer. I told him that I would contact my credit card company and have any charges cancelled, and that there would be no sales tax from another dealer, since I was ordering out-of-state from my state which has no sales tax to start with. The conversation ended on an unpleasant note, but the salesman did agree to cancel the order with no credit card charges, and shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail from them confirming the cancellation.

"I didn't order because the items they advertised were not in stock or were gray market. "
"AVOID THEM!!! These guys are scambags. They will NEVER sell you a camera alone. Only if you buy it with a bunch of accessories, and you can find a way better deal on such package elsewhere. They are very rude, make you call them multiple times and they are like hungry dogs cling to you for anything you can spend on their products. AVOID THEM!!!"
