"US Appliance is a horrible company. I ordered an item from them, but they canceled the order the next day. However, instead of also canceling the "pending hold"/charge they had placed on my credit card, they went ahead and processed the order as if it was actually going through.
So, I was charged at a higher price for an order that was canceled. Now, I don't have my money and have to wait for them to send it back to me.
Normal retailers are actually able to remove the pending charges/holds against your account without actually taking your money.
Stay away from their poorly designed/featured website and checkout system. The "deals"/"coupons" that are applied during checkout will not work, and they will take your money for a few days while you waste your time dealing with them."

I ordered a high end Asko dishwasher from US Appliance on August 16, 2011. The dishwasher did not arrive at my house until September 12, 2011. My dishes never seemed to be clean, but I thought that maybe I was not loading the dishwasher properly or that my old detergent might not work well with this more cutting-edge dishwasher. My 1 year old daughter began getting diarrhea which did not resolve until I began handwashing all my dishes. By October 18, 2011, the dishwasher would not function at all. When I tried to start the dishwasher, it would just incessently beep at me. I worked with the manufacturer for a full week before they would authorize a service technician to come look at it. The service tech told me the dishwasher had multiple issues which had probably been there since the dishwasher was delivered. As of today, the dishwasher is at the service tech's shop awaiting back-ordered parts from Sweeden. When I contacted US Appliance to arrange a refund or exchange of the defective dishwasher, I was told they have nothing to do with the product once it is installed. BOTTOM LINE: THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL! They received payment in full 3 months ago for a product that has never functioned right and hasn't even been in my house for 3 weeks. Tomorrow, I will have a house full of Thanksgiving guests that will get to see a big hole in my cabinets where a dishwasher should be. I feel like I am a victim of fraud!"

"I placed an order for a Samsung plasma from US appliance. The website stated the original price was $1199, and that I would have to complete the checkout to see the sale price. After completing the process, I saw the lower price.
Many people used this to pricematch to Amazon. Amazon didnt have any issues matching the price and shipping the TV. Unfortunately US appliance wouldnt honor their own price. They stated that the price was a mistake and the actual price was $1199. This doesnt add up. Why would the website force me to put in all my information for "a lower price", if the price was supposed to be $1199?
I believe they are lying to me. I also think its ridiculous that Amazon would honor US appliances price, but US appliance wouldnt honor their own price."

"I ordered a TV from their website. I had an option to order a TV from US Appliance or a different comparable TV from another online retailer. I decided to place the order with US Appliance. Subsequently I received an email from US Appliance stating that they were cancelling my order because the price of the item was incorrect on their website at the time I placed my order. In the meantime, the other TV I was considering sold out. So, because of US Appliance, I missed the other deal. Now I am left with nothing. VERY UNHAPPY!"
