"I bought my Canon 5D Mark III and a wide angle lens from Valuebasket.com and the whole process was seamless from the start.
The prices offered on the website was really competitive and the free shipping service was also another plus point. Both products were delievered to me within the promised time frame of 7-10 working days and in very good condition as well.
One down side is that products bought from Value basket has its own in house warranty and it isn't covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Another thing that can be improved is the operators on the customer service hotline- some weren't really proficient in job knowledge and English skills need to be brushed up.
Other than these tiny hiccups above , all in all the experience was good and I would recommend it to others ! "

"Product arrived well and in great order but was guaranteed delivery before Xmas and it arrived late!. Tried to track it via the website but wasnt given a password when the account was set up on 12/12 so that was useless. Item actually arrived on 28/12.
Unfortunately my wife had been given bad advice from another source and the camera lense she ordered didnt fit ! So we started the process of returning it - seemed easy at first but turns out that we needed to complete an RMA form and it took several phone calls to get that sorted - THIS SHOULD BE EASILY ASSCESABLE BUT WASNT.
Finally got RMA form done but there was no instructions with a return address so needed another call - some of these calls took 5-10 minutes to be answered finally sent the item via registered post to Hong Kong !!
We were told via the website that there was a NZ address but this wasnt the case, so we sent it overseas costing NZ$50 on 10/1/13. It arrived in Hong Kong on 14/1.
22/1 we phoned - refund due in couple days
28/1 Robert emailing to find out what the delay was. Should be 2 days
30/1- Matter fowraded to management team. Refund should be 2 days
2/2- Christian - should be 2 days
5/2- Jimmy , claims refund processed at their end and should be in our credit card account in next day or so. I told him we had been told this many times before and I was totally sick of this. It has taken over 3 weeks since the item was received in Hong Kong and the credit only finally went into our a/c on 7 Feb 2013.

This whole purchase has been a nightmare. I only hope that this is posted on your site to warn others of what rubbish service you actually provide despite your claims - but I doubt that this will make it there

Value basket - I dont think so ! Reading other 1 star reports should warn potential buyers - if you have the good fortune to actually get your product it may be cheap, but it may be wrong, and heaven help you when returning it.

I would strongly warn you about buying from this company. Shop around as others will offer similarly priced items and check them out before buying as well.

After ordering the tablet arrived promptly but was programmed in Chinese and had no instruction manual, and was therefore useless. Fortunately I was able to take it to a chinese friend who translated the chinese language settings and was able to change the display to English. "Absolutely terrible i ordered on 20/12/12 its 23/1/13 and they still keep telling me it will be sent in the next 7 days!! they've been saying this since the begining of january. They offered me $10 back 2 weeks ago but still it hasnt even been sent!!! Then last week they offered me a 3 in 1 cleaner which is a cheap $10 item they sell.
I belive they dont have the item as its a GO PRO camera and there are global shortages, but they refuse to tell me so.
When i ordered it they were sold out in australia, now they are available.
