"First, let me say “I HIGHLY RECOMMEND - VIGOR GAMING”

Someone once told me: “Problems will happen, it’s how a company responds and resolves the problems, will attest to their character and business ethics as well as confirm… if they deserve your future business”

I can honestly say I would never buy another computer from anyone but these guys that includes laptops.

I agree with that statement and feel you can honestly analyze a retailer or any service provider, by how they respond to a problem. I mean a serious problem and I learned first hand about Vigor Gaming. They’re customer service; technical support, and customer response is “SECOND TO NONE” and I sincerely mean this folks… and I’ll include my email for anyone to contact me with respect to Vigor and my experience.

I could go on and on but most only want the bottom line…. So here it is:

Purchase made on Oct. 22 final problems resolved Dec. 21… First, I must say, I was never required to post here and didn’t until now when I wanted too! This had no affect the service I received or the quality of the unit/service.

So, within 36 hours of installing/running a few games on my new computer it Locked-Up and crashed…! Oh My I thought…. $3500K and now this. I called tech support… Saturday, no answer…. No technical support on weekends, and I again thought… Oh My Gosh!

First thing that Monday, after a short analysis, they felt memory module or MB. Vigor sent me new memory modules… no good! Next, a new MB was sent (my option because I felt I would rather change vs. long return time from AL to CA). They requested and recommended me to return and they would fix. I replaced the MB… after getting a complete set of written instructions/photos of actual install on their system from Technical Support. After the MB replacement and many hours working on things… there help (on a Saturday too… the technician gave me his cell number and assisted me on Saturday and Sunday) however; still the system was no good! I had to resort back to the original MB and memory for my system to work.

After some discussion with (never had to go to top for results) Vigor they agreed to build me a complete new system all new components while I kept the first one until I received my replacement unit. They sent my new system which is PERFECT… and has been PERFECT since I received it on Dec. 21st. They also paid for the return shipping on my first unit and all the components sent in between.

I want to personally thank Tommy, Chuck, Wayne, Anthony, Daisy, and others I spoke with… these are all incredibly nice people and a pleasure to deal with, they always called me back and never ran or tried to hide from my problem. All this wonderful support during Thanksgiving week and towards Christmas Holidays… which I’m sure was their most busies time.

So to all reading this and my LSU Tiger friend below this post, have no worries, Vigor Gaming is a very solid company building very highly technical machines from the best components available and they will be there when you have a problem.

"Ordered a desktop PC from Vigor on 31-DEC-07, didn't hear back from them within the 48 hour window, which is understandable since there was a holiday thrown in there. I called and spoke with Daisy, who was helpful and said I would receive a confirmation today (3-JAN-08) which I did.

Two things that really bug me about the Vigor ordering experience so far.

1. When you get to the very end of your order, after you design your system and enter your CC number, and press "OK" on the last confirmation page, you are thrown to RESELLER RATINGS and REQUIRED to enter a review. What the heck is that all about? Why should I be *required* to enter a review of this company? The only reason I went through with the review is b/c I thought I would get some sort of confirmation that my order was successfully received. Which leads to #2....

2. After placing your order, there is no confirmation message saying, "Hey, we successfully received your order" like you expect after buying something. The only confirmation you get is an email message.

Neither of these are a big deal, just a little strange.

Smooth sailing so far, my order should ship on 17JAN08. Will update the ticket when it ships.

Item shipped on 16JAN07, estimated delivery date is 22JAN07.

"Best custom computer I have ever owned. Vigorgaming also set the standard for Excellent Customer Service. And I want to add that Ms Daisy Chaing, Salesperson, absolutely went above and beyond what you would call great customer service. I wish to personally thank Ms Chaing for a job well done. "Prior to ordering I had several questions about their rigs. Their response time was a day or less and answered all of my questions to much satisfaction. They seemed very knowledgeable from the start. The selection process was pretty easy. They didn't offer everything with every case but all it took was a quick email and that problem was solved. I had asked for a processor that wasn't listed and within a week it was listed.

After everything was purchased, an issue arose with my order(not compatible) which was more my fault then theirs. I spoke with Daisy the account manager. She called me within a few days and told me of the issue and worked with me to solve it. She was very pleasant to talk to and helpful. I had ordered two nvidia cards for an ati board. My cc had already been debited for the full amount and she said she would issue a credit for the one card. The money was back on my card before I woke up the next day. After the order is processed, your given a customer number which you can use to check the status of your order. This was a very nice touch. It shows what step it is in, from, Preparation, Assembly, QC, Date of Shipping.

When it got here, the box was huge. The tower comes in the original tower case, bubble wrapped beyond belief and put inside another box. It was packaged extremely well.

20 days from order to arrival is longer than most places but the great customer service and quality of the parts makes it well worth it. I would recommend this company to everyone.

"Absolutely fantastic company. I was a little bummed out when they said that it would ship when they did (Dec 17th, taking the full 10 Business days). This meant that I would get my computer the 24th after shipping, which I thought would be a certain disaster due to the holiday traffic both Vigorgaming and UPS would be having to put up with. Incredibly, Everything arrived on time, intact, and I could not be happier with the product. A special congratulations to both UPS and Vigor for getting everything right like that; even the tiniest hitch and I would not have had this in time for Christmas :P. Excellent company, Excellent product, I will definately buy from them again in the future."

"The process with Vigor gameing went perfect. purchased QXN Force Recon. I customized it to my preferences and received a machine that was of high quality. It was packages securely and shipped to my door as promised. The computer worked flawlessly out of the box. I recomend vigor gaming... "i was very satisfied with vigor gaming...i ordered my comp...within 10 minutes they called me and confirmed my order...they even told me if i have any configurations problem and corrected them...my order was due nov 21...but they had it ready by nov 16....i picked it up myself...i hooked it up...and to this day...plays the same way the first time i plugged it in...even after my order...i emailed daisy who was very helpful for some simple questions..and she answered them within less then 24 hours"

"I have been checking out the Vigor Gaming Force Recon SP for a while and finally decided to buy.

I ordered on 12-14-2007, and the estimated ship date is 01-03-2008, which is within the 10 business day estimate.

Almost as soon as I ordered (at 9:30pm) Daisy called me up to let me know that Windows XP Pro will only be able to see 3.25 out of the 4gb that I'm getting and that I should get a bigger power supply to power the beast. I'm pretty impressed so far!

I'll update this on the ship date.

I just called and the system is still in "final testing" and they tell me it should ship tomorrow. Only a day late, that's not too bad.

It's spent quite a bit of time in the Q/C phase, so I expect all will be well. I'll update when the system arrives.

The system is AWESOME. Incredibly fast, perfectly stable, software and hardware installed EXACTLY as I specified, down tot he drive letters.

As for shipping, everything arrived perfectly packaged and safe.


I'll never buy from anyone but them, I highly highly highly recommend.

"Order was shipped on time and was well packaged and in good working order when received. Been working with the machine for over a week now with no complaints. The call I received from customer service confirming my order was handled very well, they advised me both of a the delay the Thanksgiving holiday would cause and about the limitations that would be imposed by a 32bit OS on the amount of memory which could be properly addressed. Overall a very good experience, I would deffinately make future purchases with this company. "

"Vigor Gaming is a company that I originally had no knowledge about. Trust me, I am one of those people who did a lot of research on custom-desktop building companies before choosing my option. From iBuyPower, to Alienware, whatever! In the end, I orderd a Force Recon with the Typhoon cooling system. It is quiet, it's actually quiet. This was one thing I was very worried about, to think if my "super" desktop would end up sounding like a vacuum cleaner and it didn't.

Their chart claims on ratings are dated as of July 9, 2007. They need to update that for more accurate results, which is misleading to us, considering Vigorgaming asks its customers to write a review at resellerratings.com.

There is one misconception about TEC cooling systems. They are not as effective as some people may think. They will cool down your system overall, but will overheat themselves causing more heating than cooling to begin with. Vigorgaming's claim on TEC cooling about moisture and humidity is inaccurate. Your system will only produce moisture if its internal heat becomes less than room temperature. The Typhoon system is cheaper and more reliable than the Monsoon. Furthermore, Vigorgaming told me that getting a 1,1k watt power supply was necessary if I decided to utilize two 8800 gtx video cards in my rig, which is also another inaccuracy. You don't need that excess power supply wattage. Pay attention. I just went with the 800 power supply with 1 card, and that's still over the top.

After three months and several weeks of owning this desktop I have little to no complaint whatsoever. What I did complain about was how their technician(s) set up my Audigy audio system settings. I was basically getting feedback in my mic everytime I spoke. I called them up and they couldn't give me an accurate solution except for trying to alter some settings.

Actually, I think I only spoke to the same people the whole time! Wayne, and a lady whose name I can't remember. That's okay, though, as long as the job gets done.

One last thing to consider complaining about is the monitor. I have this single blue pixel showing up on the bottom left corner of my screen that doesn't go away.

All in all, the desktop is really nice. They're never cheap if you want someone to build it for you. This thing never heats up, and I'm in a stuffy room. I play WoW, CoD and Lost Planet on this PC and I don't experience lag unless it's server-wise. I would give this desktop a B, overall. A for its performance, but C+ for the service and "recommendations" process.

"I found Vigor to be extremely helpful. I had placed an order for a 64 bit operating system when they saw this they called to confirm that this is what I wanted and let me know most existing programs would not run on this system. This saved me a very bad day when the system arrived and I couldn’t use it. In addition I had some problem with the system when it arrived so I called them from work with my issues. They volunteered to have a tech stay late and help me with my problems after business hours when I got home from work. That night a Friday I ended up working late and had to call and cancel. Monday was swamped and I never had a chance to call and set up another appointment. Disappointed I went home thinking I would set up a appointment to sort out the issues on Tuesday. Shortly after I arrived home on Monday about 6pm I got a call from a Vigor tech who helped me fix my problems. I was shocked and amazed at this level of customer service! Vigor has my business again next time. Thanks VIGOR!"
