"I ordered 250 cards with the matte finish for $10. I then ordered another 250 cards with an upgrade to the premium glossy finish for $40.83 including shipping. They were exactly the same card. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed I would be refunded $10 since it was the difference in cost. Huh??? A second rate organization. Take your business to your local printer."
"Completely disappointed. Was looking forward to ordering the "happy nappy" baby shower invitations, as they were advertised as 50% off. However halfway through personalizing the invitation, the price doubled back to the original. Although I thought it was a little dodgy, i went ahead and ordered them anyway. Just got them in the mail and they are complete crap. Low quality and a complete waste of money. You are much better off buying the $5 invitations they sell at walmart."
"I'm a college student and have two of my own little businesses. My mom and dad suggested I get business cards made, and I remembered that Vistaprint's commercial for their $10 business cards. I told them that's what I wanted to do, so I hopped online and started working on my cards. I made sure I only got what was included in the package to keep the price at $10.
First off, this company gets you with their shipping. Standard is $7. For 250 little cards. However, that didn't deter me. Seventeen dollars still wasn't that bad.
Then I went to check out only to see that my price had nearly doubled. It said that the cards were now at the regular price plus $4 for adding a picture. When I began making my card, I checked several times to make sure it was only $10. So I deleted my order. I'm not going to pay a price that wasn't what I was told it would be.
I don't appreciate being mislead and wasting my time. Tell me the actual price of what I'm going to purchase; don't lie about it. I call shenanigans on Vistaprints. I'm taking my business elsewhere. To a company that doesn't pull this kind of garbage."
"I ordered an 18"X24" poster to be made of a full sized photo I had so I could put it into a frame for my new bedroom. I couldn't be happier!! The poster is crystal clear, the colors are as exact as the photo, no pixilization - it's just terrific and everything I wanted. Plus I thought it was a fair price. 5 stars to them on this!"
"I was very excited to find a merchant who had good wedding invitation designs with great prices. But the website was hard to work with. Their way of showing your savings and their sales just didn't look right. It didn't have a way to save your words so that you can apply it to another invitation. In the end, it cost me extra invitations with a rush delivery. They also had to send the custom envelopes that I ordered, to replace the plain envelopes. Now I have double plain envelopes. They did ship it on time...But the second set of invitations had a hole in the soft package that it was delivered in. So some of the corners were bent. I tried to be patient with the website, but it was a long process to perfect my invitations, and to maneuver around the site."
"I love ordering here! VistaPrint is the best place for photos, business cards, t-shirts and more! I've order lots of things here with no problem. If you want to buy stuff here, you should use a pre-paid card though. Like other reviewers said, you credit card could get compromised by these people. Be careful.."
"I got an email about these self inking stamps for free. Only thing I had to pay in the end was for the shipping which was fine. It ended up costing $7.50. I received the product in about 3 days which was good!
NOW the BAD: 2 days after I had put my order through, I had an email and urgent SMS to contact my bank, saying that my credit card has been compromised! Coincidence it was so close to the purchase date? I've never had to replace my credit card ever since, and I've had it for 7 years, and then all of a sudden.. Boom! Someone's tried to use my card details in USA! I live in Australia. I think this company is extremely dodgy. Luckily my bank froze my card so they couldn't use it.. Shifty ppl. Karma is going to get back at you."
"This is the worst printer I have Ever worked with. Terrible website that is very difficult to navigate. When I contacted them via telephone and explained the problems including the fact that their pricing in the cart was not accurate and was more than two times that of overnight prints I asked about their "Lowest Price Guarantee" at which time I was placed on hold for 47 minutes. The customer service rep then tells me that they will have to bill my card for the higher amount and then refund the difference.
Wow, no thank you. Worst company ever and the absolute worst customer service I've ever seen. I wish there was a way to give zero stars!"
"Vistaprint has allowed my small company to have a professional image at a very reasonable cost. I have ordered their return labels, business cards, and brochures several times and I have been very happy with their products. "
"Absolutely horrible experience. I placed an order for mailing labels that I really needed within a certain time frame. They did not give me any notification (the lack of notification was verified by them) that they didn't process my order. The first two reps I spoke with told me that it was because someone else was fraudulently using my address on another account, but refused to give me any details(!) Then I demanded to know more details (hello, it's fraud!), so the manager said that the first two reps were wrong and she doesn't know the reason.
At any rate, it's a month later and the labels I ordered never came. I wasn't notified, and I had to spend an hour and 15 minutes on support only to get a 25% discount. Yes, that's the best they could do. Unreal."
"bad product and worse customer service - used local printer, a little more $ a lot less stress and problems"
"I almost did not place my order with VistaPrint after reading the plethora of negative reviews on here. However, I thought "What the heck, it's only $10?" My particular order ended up at $16.49 because I also added the "glossy" feature for $6.49. To me, the $16.49 was still a great deal.
I placed my order on 7/28/12 and the package arrived today 8/3/12. The cards look fantastic. I used the "business card" template, however I uploaded my own design and created "social media cards" with my company's Facebook and Twitter information to encourage customers to interact with us on social networks.
If you're going to upload your own design, I would recommend using a design that adheres to their 1062 x 615 pixels requirement for Full Bleed Size (this was the size of my design and everything went well). However, make sure all of your graphics, text, and other information fit within the Document Trim Size of 1028 x 579 pixels. In my case, I had a plain gray background for the entire card (no borders/graphics on the edges). So pretty much, the gray background extended to the entire 1062 x 615 pixel Full Bleed size. The graphic I had on the right size of the card along with the writing I had on the left side all fit within the 1028 x 579 Document Trim Size.
In addition, make sure you use high quality graphics in a vectorized format (to prevent blurring or distortion of the pixels). "
"These guys are scammers. I thought they were a cheap alternative for simple printing needs, and that they are. The quality is terrible, but you get what you pay for, which I'm fine with. I didn't get terribly upset at the slow shipping, poor paper, or crooked printing since I only paid $10.
The problem I have is that they use their low-cost printing to scam you into signing up for other stuff. I placed an order for some business cards, and somewhere embedded in the terms and conditions of some coupon I used must have been something authorizing them to sign me up for a $4/ month "local search listing" that got automatically billed to my credit card.
Furthermore, it never sent me an e-mail confirming the "local listing" order (they send e-mails to confirm printing orders) nor does it show up in my orders on the website. It just started charging my credit card quietly until I noticed it one day, 6 months later. Basically, they did in such a way that I wouldn't notice it, with no e-mail or notices in "My Account".
It's not that much money in the scheme of things, so I'm not going to spend an hour on hold with customer service to get $24 back, but I'm never doing business with these scamsters again. They totally lost my trust."
"I have ordered products from VistaPrint.com for several years now.
When you sign up for emails, every few weeks they email great deals, the ones with free shipping are even better. I most recently ordered custom embroidered polos for 5 people that volunteer with a local non-profit my wife started. The sizes online are one size too small when we recieved them. I called and without any questions, they replaced the incorrect sized polos and rushed them for free. I will continue to use Vistaprint.com for all my printing needs."
"I cancelled my account with Vistaprint in December 2011. I was furious that my order, placed on 14.December.2011, in the value of 75,16 €, did not arrive until 29.12.2011.
For one year 5.94€ was taken from my bank account by Vistaprint. I have no idea why Euros 5.94€ was taken from my bank account each month because Vistaprint will not respond to any of my correspondence! I have made every effort to contact Vistaprint and find out why.
I considered my account cancelled with Vistaprint after my December letter and email to the company. They continued to take 5.94€ until May 2012 out of my bank account. I have tried calling Vistaprint and always get a busy signal. Now I am getting letters from a law firm demanding money for Vistaprint. I have been on maternity leave since November 2011 and have actively pursued this materials without being able to resolve it. Vistaprint has never answered any of my emails. Vistaprint has never answered any of my written letters.
This matter has to be resolved. I am not willing to pay for services that I am not receiving. I am not willing to pay for subscriptions that I did not subscribe to. I would like Vistaprint to contact me immediately to resolve this issue, but what are my options?
