"I have always been very satisfied with every order I have placed with vistaprint, the quality is good on most things and great on others. Items tend to ship faster than quoted. I just placed another order that had over a $250 value for just under $40 with shipping! (That order had over a dozen different items)"

"I worked in offset printing (account managing), so I understand what goes on behind the scenes to put together what VistaPrint does, at the cost they offer.

I have printed postcards, tshirts, christmas cards, flyers, business cards and labels. I use their service a lot. I am most impress with the Christmas cards and flyers.. they look so professional printed offset. I ensured that I used a 600 dpi image to ensure great resolution... I actually had to put a note inside the card to tell relatives overseas that the image on the front was my kids, and not a stock photo. That's how good it looked.

The flyers are the same. Printed press they look so much better than anything a laser printer could accomplish.

I always upload my own templates, so I usually have to wait longer to get my goods (they can't batch print my orders with others with the same template), but it is a small price to pay to get such quality printing at an affordable price.

Tip:
Use high res (600 dpi) images... laser can print well at 150 dpi, but press printing is much more exacting and you will be amazed at the results if you provide excellent quality images from the outset.

"Beware of the £2.00 pounds offer for 200 business cards.Its only by the time you finish your transaction that the actual price shoots up to well over £ 25.00 Pounds.Rather crafty way to entice your custom.The actual cards are also rather cheap looking with bad colour reproduction and printed on flimsy paper.Not what you want in order to promote your business.
Avoid like the plague !!!

"What a joke. I spent my time designing the card, waited a month and when nothing arrived called vistaprint and was told that there was a problem processing my order. I asked, why was I not informed of this? The rep actually said: "we are currently working on that" then she offered that I pay $15 extra to get my order in 3 days.
What a racket - they wanted me to pay for their mistake. Needless to say, I canceled the order.

"As with any company, you should really pay attention to what you order online. Make sure the pictures u upload are formatted correctly. I ordered 250 business cards, 1 car door magnet and a rubber stamp, all free, and payed 7.21 for shipping. The shipping specifically tells you that the cheapest option is slow delivery, estimated at 21 days. It is an estimate. Not a gurantee. My products look great, no issues at all. Great option for my starting business needs! "

"Vistaprint has provided me with terrable service. I had ordered checks they gave me a delivery date of 1/5/2012. When i placed a call to them today i was told that thy are sorry but i will not recieve the checks taht i ordered on 12/22/2011 untill 1/13/2012. I was told that no matter what the confermation said that they could not help me with getting the checks before that date. The supervisor was of no help and offered nothing to resoulve the issue. I was told that the date i was given did not count the checks when thats all i ordered. And if i wanted to cance the order they would send me a refund in 3 to 6 weeks. Totaly not the way to do business.

"I own a business in St. Charles, MO and have been ordering products for years. I used Vistaprint only twice and was more that disappointed with my products that I received. Their business cards are printed on a very thin material and had banding all throughout the print. I had even ordered their "premium" print quality, and it was more than disappointed. I have now successfully used on three occasions now a company called Finger Paint Studios, and they can be found at www.fingerpaintstudios.com Using their templates from the download section, our designer was able to make a custom front and back for our new business cards, door hangers, and our business card size magnets. The ordering process is streamlined and it does not try to sell you a whole heap of crap that you never asked for like Vistaprint. Finger Paint Studios will have my business from now on."

"I've used this company twice for personalized calendars, and I've been disappointed by how slow they were both times. You know it doesn't take them much time to print and ship a calendar like this, but over two weeks have passed since my original order date and the thing hasn't even been shipped yet. To make matters worse, a few days after placing the order, I called customer service to check on the status. The person on the phone assured me it was printing today and would be shipped the next day. That was over a week ago and the thing hasn't even been shipped! Will I ever get my product? Only time will tell...

***Edited to include an update. My order STILL hasn't shipped. When I called to follow up again, the person on the phone informed me that it was a technical glitch, that the "printing in progress" status should not have shown on my account for more than two days. When I asked why I hadn't been informed about the glitch, or why the girl I spoke with last week hadn't noticed this or been more proactive, she said I called "too early" to be sure it was a glitch. (Even though the status should have changed long before I called.)

The rest of her explanation was both mumbled and vague, leaving me to conclude that this company is inadequately staffed and that human beings have little or nothing to do with completing your order. Don't go with the lowest bidder here; spend the money and select a quality company.

Shipping is somewhat pricey, however, it usually ships earlier than the estimated shipping time. Customer service was friendly and helpful. "I've ordered business cards from VistaPrint for years so I decided to go ahead and order custom shirts from them as well, to give as Christmas gifts. I'm horribly disappointed! Every shirt is grainy and pixelated. Even the shirts that just have text are lousy and poorly done. And the vinegar like smell they have would make me ashamed to gift these to even my worst enemy. These are not the free t-shirts either! I ordered black shirts which are $4.74 base+2.50 for black. Then the images I uploaded for printed shirts were $2.49 each. I even tried making a "free" white shirt but even that wasn't even truly free ($4.74+shipping) so I didn't even bother ordering it. Oh and I payed extra for shipping because the free shipping would of taken 3-4 weeks for delivery. Contacted them through email and phone and since they are so backed up I was told they would respond to me 'sometime' this week *hopefully*! Horribly disappointed and will definitely find somewhere else to order my business cards from as well."

"Besides the most important part of personalized items is that the quality is grainy, but they completely scam you for shipping. Priority shipping (mind you 7 days) costed me $14 for a small item weighing maybe half a pound. My other options were Rush (3 days) for over $50, and standard shipping (21 days) for $9change. Absolutely unacceptable."

"VistaPrint.com — I got what I thought was a good deal from Groupon to get my Christmas cards from VistaPrint. I had heard of them a number of times, so I figured I'd give them a shot. I should have done my research before I bought the Groupon, but here are my main complaints.

1 - I had a really hard time choosing a layout I liked. They had so many to choose from, but none of the picture sizes really fit the layouts and there was no flexibility to change them.

2 - The wait time was something like 4 weeks. Which, I did get them in that timeframe, but never have I had to wait that long for photo cards! Thankfully I got to ordering them early in December, otherwise I would have been quite upset.

3 - Once they arrived, I can't say that I am trilled with the quality of the picture. The cards themselves are nice, good cardstock and all, but the picture is grainy. It almost looks as though it was taken with a 3-4 megapixel camera and then we zoomed in, when it was taken with a professional SLR camera and there was no zooming.

Needless to say, lesson learned and I will not be using VistaPrint for any of my future photo printing needs

"I recently ordered custom printed t-shirts from VistaPrint and am so dissatisfied. I can see the color of the black shirts through the red and white letters so it looks faded. There were strands of the shirt's fabric stuck in the printed letters and the shirts are extremely thin and cheap. I wouldn't recommend anyone using VistaPrint for T-shirt printing (unless they're only basing their decision on costs), but someone in my family got business cards a while before i got the shirts and the cards looked fine."
