Not Packing as Well as In the Past

"One of the reasons I went with Vitacost was because I was so impressed with the care they used in packing my orders. WOW! But the past year, this has gotten bad. The last two orders have had broken boxes etc. I cannot order the Elmhurst milks because they just throw them in a plastic bag and put them wherever. They break and the milk goes everywhere. They have to be supported and standing upright for the journey...its milk. Disappointed."

The delivery of my order was horrible

"My package was set down next to the road , NOT delivered at my house. It was setting on some small spiders when I found it later that day. The small spiders had found their way into the box of goods and I had to open the inner boxes up outside my home and be sure none were inside the plastic coverings of the taco shells or the other goods . fortunately, all the goods had inner plastic on the actual food. This was not a good experience . There was no reason the driver could not have brought the box down my driveway to my home and placed it on my porch."

Worst online experience ever

"Could not login. Took 1.5 hrs to finally get signed in. Error message Access
Denied repeatedly occurred with no reason given. Could not check out. Had to enter my credit card info Repeatedly. Was super frustrating . Had to change my password several times. A real nightmare.

Ordering Issues on this last order

"I placed four identical orders with Vitacost from September 5, 2024 to September 13, 2024. Order #320666973, Order #31091369, and Order #917557518. I was told by Vitacost that the orders were automatically cancelled by Vitacost's computer system, reason unknown. I placed a fourth order, #320681896. All four orders are for the same products and the same total price. All four of the orders showed up on my credit card account for $366.26. I contacted Vitacost through their chat system several times after each order was canceled by them. The Vitacost employees on the chat line had no idea why the orders were canceled and would just say try again, that they would consult with their supervisor. After the fourth cancellation I emailed Vitacost about the problem and got a response about 48 hours later. Something to do with repeated use of a promotional code. The first time I used the promotional code for a 20% discount and the order was cancelled. I don't understand why the first order was cancelled. In Vitacost's email response I was advised to order again without a promotional code and I would still receive the 20% discount. I placed the fifth order without a promational code and did not receive a discount!!!!!! In the past Vitacost has been really good, but this last experience has been well below their past excellence."

Disappointed

"I ordered three bottles of supplements. Everything seem to go through correctly a couple of days later I got an email that the product was out of stock. I gave all my credit card information and was expecting a shipment. You couldn’t fulfill your end of the bargain."

Always there for me!

"I have been shopping for years at Vitacost.com and from reasons like great prices and discounts, availability of organic and non-GMO products, great quality and selections of healthy and nature friendly products.
They also pack the shoppings very carefully and use non-plastic packing materials as much as possible.

Not too happy

"I was upset about missing 30% sale by a couple hours and wasn't even reminded in a text. Why would that be so hard for you? Then when I was placing my reluctant order I needed to add 1.50 for free shipping. I called and asked if there were any 1.00 or 2.00 or 3.00 items the lady said no. I went back and looked again I found item for 2.00 so I felt misled when I was already not too happy."
