"They are terrible at responding to emails. Do not order anything that resembles food. You may get something that is expired. I ordered macadamia nut Tri-o-plex cookies that expired in April and I received my order in June. The only reason I found out they were expired was because one of the cookies I was about to eat had mold on it. I was upset because I had already eaten half of the cookies in the box. I emailed them about it and it took a little over a week for them to respond and said they would send me out a new box. I kept asking them every other day if they had sent it out and it took a week for them to tell me that they were out of that flavor that I had previously ordered. Then they asked if there were any other flavors that I would like. I told them chocolate chip. And it took another 2 weeks for them to reply after that and they said it was going out that day. It's been 2 months and I still haven't received my unexpired replacement.
On another note, when you order supplements, these clowns do ship pretty quick but I had to order my recent order twice. When I ordered my stuff before, it took them a week to tell me that the card I entered wasn't working and I needed to reply to them with a different form of payment. I emailed them the correct number and I asked what the number was on the card I entered. I waited a week for them to reply but they never did. I told them to cancel the order and I just reordered my supplements again. In the comments section I asked them if they could put the box of Tri-o-plex cookies they owe me in the box. I just got my order today and there were no cookies.
I still order from them just because they have free shipping if you spend over $50 and prices are decent. "

"I am currently disputing my charge from Vitaglo/Discount Natural Foods. I have asked that they cancel the order today on the telephone but have been lied to several times by the staff there so feel that it is necessary to take additional action. The story: after not hearing from them for almost two weeks, I called to see what the status of my order was. They told me that it was going out today and that they would send it priority mail. I then received an email message from UPS on 6/18 (a couple of days later) that the package was complete and on the slow train to Portland. I sent a message wondering why it wasn’t sent priority as they had said but received no reply. The package arrived on 6/23 but was missing $46.64 worth of products. I called on 6/26 and was told that the rest was backordered and that they had sent it, um on, um Thursday 6/24 and then they hung up in me. I have yet to receive the tracking email message from UPS so I called again today, 7/1 and was told that he didn’t know if it was sent out but if not, he would cancel the rest of the order, as I requested.
In addition, part of the order was two boxes of “past best buy date” emergen-c drink packets. I was wrongly assuming that this meant they had expired in like May 2010 or even Janaury 2010. They were expired in August 2008 and April 2009! I mentioned this on one of my many calls to them and he said if you don’t want them, send them back! But I have to pay for shipping to get my $16 back, which seems ridiculous so I’m keeping them.

"I placede an oder with thi9s company on 06/01/10, 10 days later I had not received my order, at which time I called ande was told my order had not been shipped and they'd research to find out why not and would call me back with an update, (keep in mind my credit card was charged for the order on 06/01/10). I called back 6-8 hrs later and was rudely told that they'd just shipped it that day, after my call and thatthey didn't know why it had shipped when ordered, and was very "rudely" hung up on. I immediately tried to call back and was hung up on "without" them answering. I tried again, the phone was picked and could hear someone in the backgrdound say, "don't answer it, hang up." I tried a third time, someone answered - I askied to speak with the owner/manager, and was told "I am the owner and manager." I asked for nest day shipping considering my credit card had been charged at the time the order was placed, yet it hadn't even been filled and could they do some type of appeasement for good faith and was told "we don't do that" and was hung up on AGAIN. I tried calling back 5 more times and they did not answer.
I've been in sales, this company has no idea of what the terms "Quality Customer Service" mean.
I'd also like to add, I was very polite because I KNOW rudeness does not work.
I'm suppose to receive my order on Tuesday, (06/15) based on a previous review, that remains to be seen!?!?!?!?!? "
"Vitaglo.com has a huge variety of products,usually at the lowest prices and with free shipping if you order over $50.00. I have found thier shipping to be somewhat slow...but well worth the wait.It says on the website that if you have not recieved your order within 10 days to e-mail them. I have called them...and although they may be a little abrupt(they are probably very busy and dont have many employees to keep costs down for us) they are friendly enough and replaced one item that leaked a bit.People that have to have everything instantly might not be satisfied with Vitaglo-but I have made numerous orders and have saved alot of money and have been happy with thier customer service!"
"I placed an order Monday night and received the shipping notification on Tuesday evening. I received my order on Friday. I did not pay full attention to the reseller ratings until after placing my order since Google Shopping displays 4 stars (which is actually out of 10 points on this website--my fault, I know). After checking the ratings with greater scruitny I was weary about ordering from Vitaglo due to the many accounts of poor customer service and backordered products but I am satisfied with my order since it shipped very promptly and arrived as I expected. I did not interact with customer service so no experience there. The final price (including shipping) was the lowest I could find and I would consider ordering from them again, albeit with caution. I would probably call or email to ensure the product was in stock before ordering. "
"This is my 2nd order, $128.00, ordered on 05/01, Saturday. I received my order on 05/13. The prices for the products I ordered are lower than Super Supplement 20% - 25%, and expiry dates are similar, 2013 to 2014(I always bought health products from Super Supplement before I found Vitaglo). Well packed. When the order was shipped out via UPS, A "UPS notification" email with the tracking number was sent to me. From I submitted my order to the time I received my order, I got 4 emails from Vitaglo or at request of Vitaglo. I feel more satisfied than my 1st order.
My 1st order(vitaglo-618821 on 03/22), $275, also well packed although the paper on the bottom looked litttle bit dusty all cans were wrapped with bags.
My evaluation is accurate and authenticate. Although I feel a little bit confused with why so many people complained the services of Vitaglo(I never called the company), I would like to give this company 5 stars, and will keep ordering from them."
"I placed an order with Vitaglo on 3/10/10. Today, 3/19/10, I called to find out if the ordered had shipped. The man who answered the phone, (Mike, as it turns out) answered the phone by saying "Yea?" When I asked him if my order had shipped, he looked it up and said that it shipped today, 3/19. so I started to mention their ad that says most shipments hip within 24 hours. This is the second (and last) time I've ordered from them and the previous order also was shipped about 8 days after I placed the order.
Mike hung up on me. I wasn't rude, but I was about to complain about the service. So I called back, Mike ansered again and I started to tell him how rude he was, then hy hung again. I'm going to contact the BBB and the Attorney General for WA and NJ to file a complaint. While rudeness isn't against the law, false advertising is. "

Once I told the gentleman what the situation was, he began yelling at me saying "what are you insinuating?" When I explained to him that this was a sanitation issue, he attacked my character and judgment. Will be filing a complaint with the OAG.

"In spite of some negative reviews here, and the fact that vitaGlo has an "F" rating at the Better Business Bureau, I decided to roll the dice and order two 120-cap bottles of Paul Stamets' mushroom products, due to their extraordinarily competitive price (34.98 vs. iHerb's 52.46). I also added many other items, and these too were priced well below iHerb's listings. My total order was for $140 of stuff. I figured if worst came to worst, I would do a chargeback via my credit card company.
Within minutes of submitting the order I received emailed confirmation, and the next afternoon I received an emailed notice of shipment, including a UPS tracking number. The box got here today, and everything I ordered was in it. The expiration dates on several of the products were only a few months sooner than what iHerb shows their current stock as having, and the MyCommunity exp. dates were identical to iHerb's.
The only possible criticism I can muster is that vitaGlo used finely shredded newsprint as packing material, which made for a bit of a mess when I opened the box, and it also left a residue of dust on the products. But conversely, it's nice to see a biodegradable, recyclable material rather than styrofoam peanuts.
So, in short, I had no trouble with the company, they performed as promised, and the prices killed iHerb's. "
"Used to order from them all the time. Had an issue recently (my cc was charged within 24 hrs of placing the order but two weeks went by and I had to make multiple calls before it actually shipped). Then I had to return something (because of the shipping delay) and several weeks after the return item was received, they still hadn't credited my account. When I called, the guy told me that he'd credit my account but that I should never shop there again. Wow-- what a way to treat a valued customer! Will take my business elsewhere from now on just as he told me to! "
"Not so bad, really! I've ordered supplements for 20 years, and order about $3000 each year; and now almost all from iHerb.com. But sometimes, about once a year, I order from Vitaglo because of the better prices on some items or maybe because an item is out of stock where I normally buy. I also only order items from Vitaglo when I'm not in a hurry to get them; but this last order was received in 7 days from the time I put in the order at night, and I live on the opposite side of the U.S. compared to the warehouse location. My last order was 6 different items and in total there was 21 items. The only complaint I have is that the cacao beans were 10 days past the sell-by-date when I received the shipment, and the packing newspaper was a little messy. For example, what I order is an item that is maybe about $1.00 cheaper, so I order 6-8 month supply of it, and that may be 10-15 bottles of that something. I've order about 6 times from Vitaglo in the past 7 years, and I'll keep ordering from them if they don't screw me over.
With my last macadamia nut oil order some oil was coming out of some of the unopened bottles; I just don't trust them enough to order from them anymore."
