Watch out for EXTREMELY excessive "processing fees"

"Just bought 4 tickets ($94/ticket) for a concert in March '18. Before pulling the trigger on the transaction, I read through all the disclaimers. Once I confirmed the purchase, my total jumped up by $95.

I understand there's a processing fee associated with sites like this and expected that. However, on a $376 purchase, Vividseats charged me $95! That's more than the cost of a ticket and doesn't include the other $15 fee assessed.

When I saw this, I called to ask what the $95 fee was based on and the rep couldn't explain.

I called my bank and stopped payment.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE if you value your money.

Liars follow up

"Ordered tickets for Hamilton. Day they were supposed to arrive electronically I received nothing. No notice from Vivid about any problems until I called them. They promised the tickets were just being done manually so it was taking longer.( I have no idea what that means since it was all done online). They obviously were trying to purchase tix somewhere else since they didn't have my assigned seats. Called several times during the day of the show all the while being assured everything was fine. Then the third time I called them--just three hours before showtime, I'm told they don't have the tickets. I don't want to be lied to, saying the tickets are just being processed. If you didn't have them, be upfront about it. Will never use Vivid again and we not recommend them to anybody ever!

The Best

"The customer service that I was provided with was unmatched. I told the guy that I wanted the best seats available. He worked extremely fast so that I could get the best tickets. This was by far the best experience and satisfaction I’ve had. Thanks and I wish other companies would provide top-notch service like the one that was provided to me!!!"

Easy to get the tickets I wanted!

"I called the 1-800 order number because I was struggling to find what I needed. John was extremely helpful, not only did he listen to my concerns he made good suggestions and no pressure, in fact I think he saved me money. My family and I are really looking forward to seeing the Blue Jays at Spring training in Florida!"

Vivid seats

"I have always ordered online with vivid seats, atleast 4 times without a problem but this last time they were experiencing difficulties with the online process so I called the 1-800 # and I got connected with an employee named brad. He was very helpful and answered all my questions and set me up with my confirmation number at the end. I received an email stating that the order had been placed and that I can track the status of my tickets. I have been tracking the tickets ever since November when I placed the order for a concert in February, it is now January 17th and I'm getting nervous but I still have time so I will just stay positive that they will be emailed to me in a good time frame before the concert. Fingers crossed! "

DO NOT sell tickets using Vivid. Use another site, ANY other site is better than Vivid

"I uploaded everything required of me in the listing. One PDF contained both seats. Their site did not recognize that both seats were within one document. They called me and asked I email the document to them, I did while they stayed on the phone. They confirmed they received the document and everything was good. 4 days later...I received an email stating the order had been cancelled and they would be charging the cost of the tickets sold plus an extra inconvenience fee. "

"Below is the situation that occurred last December. I was very upset as the tickets I bought were for my parents in celebration of their 30th wedding anniversary, and the seller did not get the tickets to Vivid Seats on time for them to send them to me. When Vivid Seats realized what had happened through my complaint below, they gave me a store credit to make up for my lost purchase and were sincerely apologetic. Great company, and I was impressed by their ethics to make the situation right.

I bought tickets for my parents’ 30th anniversary to see Jason Isbell on December 15th in Louisville, KY. My parents live in Northern Indiana, and I live in Eastern North Carolina. I received an email a few days after purchase stating I would receive the tickets by email NLT Dec 14th. I was already pretty irritated about that since it was cutting it so close since my parents would have had to drive 7 hours to get to the venue. I didn’t receive the tickets until 10 am on the 15th, and my parents didn’t get to the show because they would have left to late to make it in time. I called Vivid Seats to tell them the issue, and they told me per their policy, they had up until an hour before the show time to send the tickets. This is unacceptable business practice. I lost over 200 dollars, and my parents did not get to see the show they were expecting and excited to see.

My Vivid Seats Customer Service Rep was fantastic!

"I was having trouble opening up the email that had my online tickets and couldn't save them to a document on my computer so I could print them out later. Chloe did an excellent job in helping me! She spent time on the phone with me and tried more than once to send an email to me with a PDF attachment. My internet kept going out! She even called me back after conferring with her team to see if she could send my tickets to another email address, as an attachment. My computer was acting up and the internet was slow because of the weather conditions, but she was patient and said she would stay on the line with me for as long as I needed her. Fantastic! Since the venue requires a printed ticket (I can't use a copy on my phone) her help was indispensable! I think she is exceptional! Time for a raise! :-)
