"I'm "awaiting fulfillment"!!!

Looks like I'm not the only one to suffer at the hands of this company. Order placed with 10-12 day shipping. Phoned on the 12th day when no package had arrived and my order, online, still stated "awaiting fulfillment".

Apparently there were "stocking issues" and my order was still in limbo. In my mind this is thoroughly unacceptable that I was not notified sooner, let alone for them to have taken the money in the first place when it was at all possible they wouldn't be able to deliver on time.

To their credit they answered my first call to customer support relatively quickly and I've been assured that the product will be delivered next week. Fingers crossed.

But in short, do not believe the stock numbers on their website.

In fact, save yourself any bother and do not order anything from them at all.

"Hello there,
Not sure if my review will make any difference to this company's reputation - given all the other poor reviews presently. But I felt I had to share my experience with others in the hope that others won't be caught out like I was.
I placed an order on the 2nd May and did this at 9am - to ensure I could select the 'Next Day' option (cut off point is 12pm). The item in question was for a motherboard which I needed to get my computer up and running again (I work from home so rely on this). In total my order came to just under £200 incl. £10 or so for 'Next Day' delivery (which, in itself, is shocking considering most retailers offer this for around ~£5 - some even free) but given how the motherboard was cheaper than almost all other e-retailers the (supposed) cost difference made sense! Plus it was showing as in-stock, albeit 1 remaining.
I received no order confirmation which was quite strange but checking the website showed the order had shipped and was due to be delivered on the 3rd May - I can't recall the order being in any other state than 'On Time' and then 'Shipped'. Given that my computer isn't working I actually have to venture into my work's offices and therefore requested the tracking ID - the website claims they use DPD and I know DPD give an 'hour window' of when they aim to deliver which I was hoping to get so I wouldn’t have to waste a flexi-day. I tried telephoning (use 0121 663 0717 instead folks!) only to be constantly greeted by a recorded message saying how busy they are! So I used their ‘Contact Fast Response’ option – I received a message back the same day (oddly, at 10pm) claiming that the order was actually being shipped direct from a secondary supplier [so they didn’t have stock!] and they would be shipping my order out on a ‘Next Day’ service via DHL – I was informed that they (WAEPlus) had requested the tracking ID from their supplier and would receive it in the morning which would be then forwarded to me. I received no email in the morning so used their ‘Contact Fast Response’ to find out what was going on – only to be told that it was out of their hands and would need to check with their supplier and the courier – which simply isn’t acceptable – I ordered from WAEPlus, not a secondary supplier and I entered into a sales contract with WAEPlus, not a courier! I was, however, offered the option of a refund because of my need to get this item urgently. However, knowing the refund would take a few extra days, given the bank holiday weekend, I decided to give them the benefit of doubt and allow them an extra day.
I didn’t hear anything so I telephoned and after waiting 20 mins I spoke to a ‘Hardeep’ who was going to investigate the matter. I requested the £10 back for the shipping cost as I did not get a ‘Next Day’ service, to which I was offered a 50% refund given the order would be treated as being shipped on a ‘standard 3-5 day’ service. I protested and a 100% refund was offered and duly accepted. To Hardeep’s credit, he did phone back later that same day and confirmed the order had been shipped and would email me the tracking ID as soon as he received it.
On the morning of the 4th [the 2nd day where the order was supposed to be being shipped to me] I found an email from WAEPlus which contained, supposedly, the tracking ID for the package which was coming via DHL – unsurprisingly, the tracking ID failed to register with DHL’s tracking and phoning my local DHL depot. proved to be a waste of time as there was nothing on their systems against that code.
Frustrated as this would mean waiting in another whole day with no guarantee of the order I decided to telephone WAEPlus. After waiting 45 mins on hold I finally spoke again to Hardeep – I asked him to check the tracking ID on his computer; he confirmed that nothing was coming up which was, to quote, ‘quite odd’. He confirmed the package had indeed been shipped and would be with me but kept passing the blame over to this infamous secondary supplier and the courier – remember folk, no matter how they try to fob you off, you entered into a sales contract with WAEPlus – how they fulfil that is their business but they cannot ‘pass the buck’ as the buck, from your position as a customer, lies with them – they cannot expect you to chase couriers and secondary suppliers, nor should you.
As their registered offices are in Birmingham and I commute into Birmingham every other day I volunteered to collect the order from them directly – which apparently wasn’t possible as: a) the order had already been shipped, b) they only have a license to ship goods and not a retail license – which is a pack of horse manure! I was simply told to wait.
I queried the £10 refund for P&P only to be told that this hadn’t actually been actioned as promised because doing so would cancel the order on their systems and I would need to wait for the order to arrive – what a complete farce!
Whilst Hardeep and whoever mans the ‘Contact Fast Response’ have been cooperative I felt like this was something that would need escalating – as at this point I’d read the other reviews on here! A complaint to management has now been submitted which can take up to four weeks – which I am not too concerned about as that’s the same period for my bank to conduct a chargeback! However, what was alarming was now that the issue had been escalated Hardeep and others [I assume there are others…] aren’t able to handle queries against this order as it is supposedly removed from their systems.
I cannot stress enough to avoid this company – it’s an omnishambles to say the least, potentially fraudulent at most.
I strongly recommend if you’re reading this and have a similar story to sign up and post – it would appear WAEPlus are using those ‘social networking appearance’ companies who artificially up their reputation through fake reviews etc. I also suggest you all Tweet this and, if you struggle to get refunds, to report WAEPlus to Birmingham Trading Standards as well as your bank to conduct a chargeback!

EDIT NOTE: My sincerest apologies to WAEPlus for mistakenly giving them a 1/5 in the cost survey; was meant to give them 5/5 as the prices are pretty damn good!

"I would not use this company under any circumstances. I ordered the item from them - they took immediate payment. I had no feedback from customer services - I had to contact them, which was very difficult. In desperation, as the order had not been received, I cancelled it. They then sent it the next day even though I had confirmation of the cancellation. I returned the item which was not refunded and to date am still waiting for a response to my complaint. They have still not refunded my money."

"Very disappointed. Order placed 1 April. Payment for my order was debited against my credit card the following day.
Status of order showed as "awaiting fulfillment" for next 14days. Then order status changed to "stocking issues".
When queried I was informed that WAE+ had no stock at the time of my order and, as a result of supplier problems, would not be obtaining further stock until mid May!
I requested a refund, which apparently will take 30days! I have had to pay my credit card bill as the refund is still not showing. I am currently out of pocket and cannot reorder the goods from another supplier until the refund is made to my credit card account.

"I never write online reviews, but I have also never been ripped off online before.
Ordered on 08/04/2012 - free 10-12 days shipping. Item appeared to be in stock from website.....

Nothing recieved 15 working days later - tried to phone multiple times - no response.

Emailed customer support 29/04 and 30/04. reply on 30/04 -
'We have received your enquiry regarding your order. We have been advised by our warehouse that your order has been delayed and we are due to expect a delivery in the next 4 working days. Are you happy to hold for this?'

So, order delayed and no-one bothered to contact me, they took the money from my account when the order was sent.
Did they have the product in stock in the first place? - I think not!!

Now trying to get a refund - two emails sent, 2 attempted phone calls, so far and no reply. Fantastic!

Satisfaction - 0 stars
Likely to shop at WAE+ again - Ha - no!

***Update***
10/05/12
Still no refund - requested on 30/04 and no contact since then.
Terrible company!!!!

"The worst online retail experience I've ever had.

If you like being robbed of your money and caused as much misery without the physical pain of being mugged then this is the online retailer for you. Alternately AVOID THESE CRIMINAL SCUM AT ALL COSTS!!!. You're much better paying extra and buying elsewhere from retailers that can be trusted. Unfortunately I never heeded this warning. I purchased a Hard drive from them on 4th Apr 2012 with free postage (10 - 12 working days) At the time of making the order I left specific instructions -
Order Instructions/Comments
"Please make sure the HDD to be dispatched has the same model number as stated on the order which is WD15EARX.This number is for a WESTERN DIGITAL 3.5" WD15EARX Caviar Green 1.5 TB Internal Hard Drive & not 1TB as advertised. This is why I chose this to order. If incorrect please inform me before dispatch. Thank you".

They took my money immediately and marked the order as awaiting fulfillment. On the 6th April I thought I better contact them & make sure they have understood the comment I made on the order. I got an email that said I would be contacted shortly. 5 days later on the 11th April I got a reply:- "We are confirming with our suppliers, as their information is quite misleading. Either way, we will refund you if the item is incorrect, or you will have the item within the time period."
This seemed acceptable at the time. No alarm bells ringing yet & it was only a week since I'd placed the order. Then on the 19th April I got another email to confirm that they had checked with their supplier & it was indeed the HDD with model number I had ordered and the specifications were correct. They stated "Thank you for your enquiry.
The Product you are receiving is the product requested the : WD Caviar Green 1.5 TB SATA 6 Gb/s Hard Drive ( WD15EARX) .
This will be updated on our website and we apologise for any confusion caused. This will be delivered with the correct time period.
Kind Regards. Customer Services". At last I thought I would be getting my order. It didn't turn up within the time frame stated so I contacted them again on the 21st April. They replied on the 23rd. Its seems you have to remind them that you actually want something you have payed for! They stated in the email "Thank you for your enquiry.

We are sincerely sorry for the delay caused with your order , however this has been shipped and will be out for delivery tomorrow via Yodel.
Kind Regards
Customer Services

It never turned up on the 24th. This was already outside their promise of delivering within 10 - 12 working days. I'd had enough. I asked for a refund. On the 26th they replied "Thank you for your enquiry.

We are sincerely sorry for the delay caused with your order , however this has been shipped and will be out for delivery tomorrow via Yodel. Kind Regards. Customer Services". I checked the tracking number. It said it had been delivered but not to my address. After been on hold with the courier for 20mins and costing me an additional £2 they told me which neighbour it was with. Yodel don't seem to think it necessary to inform you where they have left your delivery. A piece of paper through the letter box thats all is needed. Maybe the drivers aren't allowed to write. All those people calling on hold to find out where their parcel has been left must generate a lot of extra revenue. I finally got the delivery from my neighbour. The hard drive had been delivered in a flimsy dented card box with no inner shock proofing and was in a thin jiffy bag. I wouldn't even attempt to connect this up because it will have endured so much jolts and shocks during transit that it would be doubtful it would even function. To add to their incompetence (or is there something more sinister going on) they had sent me the wrong hard drive with a different model number - WD10EZRX. this is marked on the box and you can see it marked on the hard drive itself through the sealed wrapping. What was ordered was a WD15EARX. I asked for it to be returned. In the morning of the 27th I actually spoke to an employee of WAE+. (You'll never speak to anyone if you call them - just an automated message leading you to their website) He said they would arrange for pick up on the following Monday. But in the afternoon I received this email -

"Thank you for your enquiry.

We have not sent you the wrong item if you log into your account on-line and go into completed orders this shows the order that you placed on-line and this clearly states :

Order #46206
Order Date: 4th Apr 2012 Due 20th - 24th Apr
Your Order Contains:
1 x WESTERN DIGITAL 3.5" WD15EARX Caviar Green 1 TB Internal Hard Drive

We have not altered or shipped the incorrect item we have shipped the product you ordered . We will not be arranging a collection of this item or arranging a refund as there has been no fault made.

Regards

Customer Services".

So the incorrect model number on the box & on the item itself must be an optical illusion or WAE+ considers everyone that shops with them is not capable of reading properly. They also promised a refund earlier if it was the wrong item and then said they would collect but then changed their minds. The item being delivered had now changed from 1.5TB to 1TB (They stated earlier it was 1.5TB) and the due date had moved from 18th to 20th - 24th. It seems this company's policy is to be brutish & arrogant towards its customers & ultimately rip them off (we are always right & the customer is a stupid gullible idiot must be their motto) And before they reply by saying "We're sorry you are not happy with our customer service". This is not customer service in the slightest. This has been more like the online equivalent of handing your money over to some shady character in a dodgy pub. They run out the door and your left waiting to see if they come back with what they offered you. Strangely Yodel came to collect the following Monday just at the time I had informed I wouldn't be in. Maybe the forgot to cancel the collection after they decided they wouldn't accept the wrongly delivered item back. I sent an email to re-arrange collection on 30th April and eventually received an email back stating they had made numerous attempts to collect. Once doesn't count as numerous - yet more lies. They said they would call the next day & rearrange collection. That was 4 days ago & still no calls. Its looking like this will turn out like every other terrible experience customers have had recently with these dodgy dealers. I've been well & truly ripped off.

"This company is a scam as far as I can see. I have been subject to THEFT - DO NOT USE THEM. I ordered an item for over £100 and it did not arrive. WAE tell me that I have received it (signed for apparantly by me!), and refuse to acknowledge that I havent received it. They tell me they have proof of delivery, which they cannot possibly have, so this is either a lie, or they have fraudulent staff who have faked my signature. Their customer service operative, (hardip?) who promised to investigate the problem, failed to get back to me, and when I called back, he had indeed not investigated it further. I asked for a refund at this point, which was point blank refused, and was told to fill out a complaint online. (which incidently there is no place to click to make a complaint online - so this was also a fob off. I asked speak to management, at which point the so called customer service operative hung up. I am left with no goods and no way to get my money back. This is illegal."

"I ordered a new headunit for my car, on the 11th of April, showing an expected delivery date (10-12 days is rediculous in itself) 25th of April 2012 to the 27th of April 2012.

No responce from Wae+ themselves, I really should have looked at reviews of their website as they seem to be having a multitude of negative ones recently.

My order has still not been shipped and just shows as Items Allocated beyond their lastest estimate

"I ordered a camera 12/04/2012, on 27/04/2012 having not received it I rang Customer Services to be told that they had just received notification that the item was discontinued - I said I would cancel the order and requested a refund and an email confirmation of this arrangement.
I rang on 30/04/2012 as I had received no email - I was told that the order was marked as cancelled and I would received a refund in 30 days, when I asked why it would take so long for an electronic transfer I was referred to the T&C on the website - see below:-

"Once you have notified the Supplier that you are cancelling the contract, the Supplier will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods."

It does state WITHIN 30 days - I would hope that I do not have to wait 30 days for this credit to my card - we shall see!
Other than this I have found Customer Services to be fairly accessible, polite and helpful.
I will add the date of refund to this review!
.... it is now 16th May .....
despite getting an email from Gary Prestell, Complaints Controller telling me that I have been refunded (past tense) - you have guessed it - I had not yet received the refund!!!
My reply emails to him go unanswered.....
I hope MasterCard will have better luck than I am having!!
