"DO NOT LET THEM STEAL YOUR HARD EARNED CASH!
I saved up to buy a camera for our once in a lifetime holiday (which is tomorrow). I paid £125.95 for an Olympus Tough 610 and the order process was simple and quick. Money was taken from my account the very next day!
When the camera was not delivered by the time it was expected I tried calling WAE+ ALLDAY! Impossible to get through EVER!. I emailed using fast response on 12 occasions, was offered a lesser model on one occasion and the rest have been ignored.
I am now disgusted to see that I am not the only person that this company is stealing from.
I need my money back, I don't earn much and £125.95 is a lot of money to me and my family.
I would not recommend this company to anyone, other than the fraud department at my bank.

"This is without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. I cancelled my order at the end of March, a refund was promised no refund arrived in my account!I complained and a promise was made to speed things up,still no refund, another promise was made to escalate on 13 April. Still no refund it is now 28 April, still no refund. The matter is now in the hands of my credit card company. So to sum things up. Customer care from this company is terrible and I will never ever deal with them again or recommend them to anyone. PS in my opinion they are in breach of their terms and conditions since it states they will refund within 30 days and they promised a refund within a few days"

"Ordered an item that said there were "7 Available" and I was still waiting 2 weeks later. I got a little worried, double-checked my item on their website and it said there were none in stock.

I cancelled my order. And was told that my money would be refunded in 30 days - cheek as they debited my credit card (for £586) on date of order.

Just searched for the item again on their website, guess what showed up: "No results found"

Did you really have any in stock in the first place?!

Not very happy.

"Update: Badically this company is a bunch of con merchants. I am now contacting the Visa Debit Fraud department to report them
Previous: I ordered a Supertooth Disco speaker using WAE's fast 3 - 5 day delivery promise. Only after enquiring why the order was delayed, did their automated response service fire back a comment that said the product was delayed. I do worry that my order follows the repeated pattern of delays and zero communication that other customers have experienced. Could a representative from WAE explain to me what on earth is going on with my order? At the very least, I should have my fast order payment refunded!

"Absolutely awful from the start and still hasn't finished...The goods took a month to come around 8 das later than the 12 working days deadline , when the printer arrived , the box was well used to say the least , it had been opened and taped up with brown parcel tape ... The delivery driver who turned up in a old car would not take the goods back ..... yes refused !!!! , because if they did they would not get paid for delivery......... I am now awaiting a refund ... I hold my breath I have informed my card company and there on the case ... its a good job because I have lost faith !!
If you want to save a few quid ... please beware itsjust not worth the risk or hassle................. don't do it.......

"I ordered an SD Card on the 8th of April and I am still awaiting 18 days and counting. When I sent two emails I finally received a response that said it was due for shipping on the 24th It seems that this company is full of liars and I am definitely prepared to take them to the small claims court if they refuse to return the money within 30days. Honestly how hard is it to put an SD card in the post. I can only assume this company is not a legitimate business and therefore advise people not to shop with this company."

"Late delivery. Ordered on 2nd April and delivered on 23rd April without being updated on delay. I wasted at least four days waiting for courier.

Probably the worst customer service on the web. They don't answer the phones and I sent 45 emails through their "fast response" page and didn't receive a single reply.

Good item though at a reasonable price but not worth the hassle. I'd rather pay a few quid extra and get decent service.

Thank you for your reply.
Attached are copies of the 2nd, 3rd & 4th queries sent through your fast response page. Obviously there is something wrong with your system as you state that you do not have them on record.
As far as delivery date is concerned, I was quoted by yourselves that delivery would be between 16th & 18th April (see attached).
Pity your customer service team aren't as quick as you with their responses.
Unfortunately I have based my review upon my actual experience with your company.

"I have also had serious problems with this retailer - after weeks of not picking up the phone and not replying to their 'fast response' emails. I finally get an email saying order dispatched - and something was delivered - I thought the nightmare was over.

However, I ordered 2 cameras of the same model - not 1 - and guess how many turned up? You got it, just 1 camera.

I have emailed, called and still not heard back.

If they do not fulfill my order in reasonable time I will be taking small claims legal advice and informing trading standards.

Hopefully posting this review will illicit some sort of response and resolve the problem.

No one minds having to wait for orders - that is completely fine - but you must be contactable.


UPDATE

After writing a review on here - they immediately sent out the 2nd camera next day delivery and it arrived this morning. It was a swift recovery - but the overall customer service still needs to be improved. You need to make yourselves contactable!!

If I hadn't have written a review on here - would I ever have got a response?? Who knows.

My impression is that this is a company that is far newer and smaller than the website leads us to believe it is - and it has great aspirations which, currently, cannot be fulfilled.

I would also encourage them to introduce a 'charge when ship' policy so no goods are charged to customers until they are dispatched. This gives the customer added peace of mind when ordering. Also - giving customers an easy online method of cancelling and having orders refunded (a la Amazon) would also help give customers peace of mind.

"I can only re-iterate what many have said previously. WAE advertise products as in stock when they are not, they take your money and wait for you to enquire regarding a delivery date when no product turns up before letting you know that they do not have the product and never will have the product! I ordered a juicer and have now cancelled the order. They told me that the refund would be paid 30 days after cancellation. I have written back that their terms and conditions state that they refund WITHIN 30 days. They are clearly doing some sort of scam using money taken from credit cards for cash flow and providing very few customers with actual products."

"I ordered a PC case and an ATX extension cable from this company. The cable never arrived.

Order was late arriving, contacting their customer "support" is rather useless - took several days for them to answer a mail, and they didn't answer the phone on the 3-4 times I called.
The mail had a mistake in my name and title, suggesting they're not hugely conscientious in their customer support.

They don't box preboxed items - not a problem in my case, but if you like your box corners square, don't order from them.

They promised to mail out the cable, and it hasn't arrived 10 days after responding to my query. Resorted to buying it from Maplin, wish I did that in the first place.
