"If you want fast, slipshod work, this is not the place for you. These folks examine your watch, determine what should be fixed, tell you exactly what they believe needs to be done, and give you a price up front. You pay in advance (and hope that you have not made a huge mistake, because the repair cost was not cheap), and wait. They take weeks to repair your watch (as they said up front they would), but when the watch is returned (packed with great care), included in the package are the parts they replaced and a clean, well-running (antique) watch. It looks (and runs) great: Job well done!"
"I was unable to locate a local watch repair service several years ago. Since then I have used Watch Repair USA twice and I am well satisfied."
"I cannot recommend Watch Repairs highly enough. I sent my 20 year old Hanhart watch for an overhaul and when I got it back, it ran better than new. Truly a quality job and craftsmanship. Excellent experience from start to finish. Highly recommended. Thank you!"
"Watch Repairs did an excellent job getting my JJ watch repaired and cleaned up after not working for nearly 20 years! It was given to me as a very special gift, and I thought I'd never see it operate again. They're a service I highly recommend and would use repeatedly in needed."
"Sent my Ecclissi watch in as it had stopped working. Immediately received a notification that they had it and would give me a quote based on what they found. I really appreciated the mailer and the easy to read and complete instructions. Things could not have been simpler. Once they gave me the quote for the price they also let me know how long it would take. Everything was just as they said and my watch was returned working and done for a reasonable price. Any questions I had they responded to very quickly and professionally. Would recommend highly to anyone. Very immpresed!"
"excellent service my watch is like new!"
"These people do exactly what they promise and follow up each step of the way. I initially had some concerns shipping my watch off for repair but the feedback kept me in the know. Even getting emailed pictures of the watch once received and the repair price quote for what needed to be done was fair.
I highly recommend their services and will use them again in the future should the need arise.
Many thanks!"
"I had a very expensive 15 year old chronometer that was played out. Reluctantly sending it in for repair, I was skeptical of it being fixable at any kind of realistic price. They told me exactly what was needed and kept me informed of the progress. It came back in great condition without need to send it back and try again. Every issue was fixed; and this was a very complex movement. So these folks know and understand what they're doing, which today, is a real pleasure. There are a lot of watch people, but have limitations upon close inspection. There is no reason to go anywhere else for repairs; and I don't often write reviews of any kind. I have another that needs a basic cleaning and tuning after 15 years, and I could go more cheaply and locally. I will send it to Watch Repairs without any hesitation."
"I was given a Tramelan watch for college graduation in 1996. Several years ago it stopped working and I just put it in the drawer. After much research, I found Watch Repairs on the internet.
They were able to restore my watch to its original glory! They were very easy to work with. Always received email updates so that I was kept aware of what was going on. Would definitely use again!"
"I wanted to give my son-in-law the 1880 Elgin pocket watch that was my Grandfathers for his Law School graduation, but it didn't work. Watch Repair USA sent a mailing envelope to my house and I sent it in. I was notified all through the process of what was being done and given a time schedule to complete the job. I was told what it would cost to fix it and when it would be done...and it was done early and works well. I spoke with them once to see if thing were on schedule and got immediate, polite and professional attention.
I'll use them again for the old watch that was my father's. (and there is a one year Warranty)"
"My watch is an Aflex which is not popular in my area so it was great to find someone to repair and service it quickly at a reasonable cost.
It has a lot of sentimental value to me so it was a great find."
"Found their web site. I did what they instructed. The whole process from shipping my watch to them to receiving it back was smooth as silk. They informed me of the progress of my repair every step of the way and even offered the option of cancelling at any time. A pleasure to deal with and if needed I will certainly be a repeat customer."
"My watch is special to me and the repair was taken care of promptly and efficiently. They were polite and helpful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.
