"Due to delivery issues with Fedex and an error on end of Watchmaxx, I had to make two trips to local Fedex office to pick up package. The first trip to the office was closed, I got there about two minutes after close time. Upon opening package, it was discovered the item, a mens Rado watch, is missing!!!. The packed was supposed to be delivered this past Monday, 2/6, the Fedex driver did not knock on the door, just left a door tag. My mother was home and driver did not knock, Watchmaxx rep(s) chose to have package held at Fedex office. I was previously told by Fedex that they do not hold packages, this is not the first case of misinformation by them.. Watchmaxx rep(s) today stated they would not refund shipping charges, I would have to pay return shipping as well, in case it was refused back to them.. I was able to pick up package only to discover item is missing!!! I already filed complaints with BBB (Better Business Bureau) and Brooklyn Attorney General's office prior in regard to refusal of package/refund of shipping charges...I will be sure to inform them the item was not even in box.."
"Watchmaxx does provide a discounted price compared with the official retail price. However, if you want to buy a real brand new watch from it, it is not a good idea. I bought a Tag Heuer watch, when I received the watch, there was not any protect film, and there are a lot of scratches on the watch strap. I contacted with the customer service, they agreed to replace a brand-new one for me. When I received the watch, there are some disheveled blue protect film on the watch strap (however the retail one has transparent protect film), also there should be protect film behind the watch case, however, it was missing.
Moreover, it seems like that they just replace the watch strap for me, and they send me back the old watch, even the packing box for the watch was the same as old one, because the scratches inside the box is exactly the same as the old one. I am doubting that they don't even have new watch in stock for sale, more likely refurbishment or exhibition old watch for sale. At least it is very possible according to my experience. I didn't have time to send back it again so I kept it. However, I am really unsatisfied with this buying experience, since I spent more than $ 1500 for this! I think I won't buy any watches from this website anymore!"

"Decent price discount over retail on my JLC Reverso Classic Large Duo, though Jomashop had a lower price. Stuck with Watchmaxx because of the prompt customer service responses each time I called. That said, I called asking about when it would ship and was told the watch was "in their warehouse" and would ship "in the next day or so." I did this because I was originally told it would ship in 1-2 weeks. This call was on week 3. When it didn't ship for another week, I called back again and was told it still had not been received from the vendor and the rep had no idea why I would've been told that. I'd give less stars if not for the fact that this rep upgraded my shipping to next day and gave me a promise it would ship by Tuesday the following week - which it did as promise. Next time just give me a reliable date, even if it's longer than desired. You told me 1-2 weeks and it took 4 weeks. Nothing worse than complete uncertainty and damaging customer trust!"
