"I ordered a whistling kettle from Wayfair. A few weeks later, I received a curtain, not a kettle. I complained and a few weeks later I received the kettle. The box was bashed in (think Ace Ventura in the UPS delivery scene) and there was no bubble wrap or paper to cushion the kettle. The kettle was upside down and the lid was rattling around loose. Miraculously, the kettle was not visibly damaged but the whistle doesn't work properly. I asked to return it but they told me I had to pay for shipping. I tried to leave a review on the kettle page on Wayfair but they've hidden the review button; I suppose they assumed I was going to leave a bad review. The product was Wayfair Basics 2.64 qt. Stainless Steel Stovetop Kettle and it's garbage."
"Terrible company in my opinion. I tried to place an order for one item from them and there were at least a dozen errors and I never got it anyway. Beware if it says it is in stock. Most likely is out of stock so if you are getting something for somebody as a gift, you're screwed. Try to call for help, pack your lunch. I waiting one time an hour and a half. Never got the product. They really don't care about the little guys."
"Bought an end table for $256. A few days later, and before it was delivered, price dropped to $207. I called, had a 90-minute wait time, where they told me I was out of luck and like every other company now, Wayfair no longer price matches. While I was on hold with them, found on Target's website: "We’ll match the price if you buy a qualifying item at Target then find the identical item for less at Target.com, select online competitors, or in Target’s or competitor’s local print ad."

"After paying for a red barn black recliner they sent me a knock off walmart mainstay navy blue one. First they wanted a picture so I gave them that , then they were going to ship a replacement. Next the y dropped the replacement and just filed a return with me paying for the shipping . I did not ask for anything other then what I paid for and they are refusing. Then wanted me to pay to ship it back. They will not do anything to fix this and Now I am out 400.00 and all I have is a the POS they shipped. The real manufacturer was on the labels on the bottom of the chair. They also over charged me about 100.00. For a person on SSDI that was a big purchase for me. NEVER again. They should have to refund the full amount and pay for the return of this bad chair , or ship me the one I paid for that the advertised "
"I ordered a sun lounger on 23rd April and the money was taken from my account and given a delivery date of 5th June, never arrived so checked my order and it hadn't even been despatched and still saying delivery date of 5th June, I have rung and emailed and no one gets back to me, have ordered from wayfair before with no issues but will certainly not order from them again, terrible customer service experience, just want my money back £109 "
"My first time trying to order and I will never order anything from them again. first they took my payment and the day my item was suppose to be delivered they sent an email saying my address didn’t match my card address but the money left my account so I updated my information they pushed my delivery date back another two weeks the 11th came and still no delivery not to mention they kept returning the money then taking it out I saw it happen on my account 3x it really screwed me up when I thought I had more money in my account and then here they come taking the payment again. How do I have a delivery date and no tracking number I never received any updates on my order. I tried calling them 3x the first time they told me my estimated wait time would be 45 minutes which was ridiculous but I really wanted my item so I waited and it was over an hour and still no answer and still I haven’t spoken with anyone. I understand things are rough but if I paid my money I expect my items or at least to Be able to speak with someone about where they might be I just canceled my order I just want my money back i no longer care about doing business with them. "
"We ordered a couch in the beginning of May. The first problem was that they said it would be delivered on a Tuesday, so we moved our old couch out before then. On that Tuesday, they called and said there would be a delay. We finally get an email that it will come on the Thursday in 2 weeks. Fine. We can live without a couch for a couple weeks.
Well, they delivered the wrong couch (and dropped it pretty badly). After taking the wrong couch away, they said they couldn't find our couch. I call them almost daily to see what's going on, and they said they would call back. Only one woman finally called me back and said that our couch was gone, and they are now out of stock of our couch... She said we could order a new one or get a refund. I just wanted a refund so I could stop dealing with this company. Well that was a week and a half ago, and I still don't have the refund or a couch. I have been on hold with them the whole time I typed this up as well. "
"I have ordered twice from wayfair. My first order was a desk and computer chair, I placed the order on 5/14 and was told it would come around 5/27. I received the desk earlier than planned which was great. As for the chair its been a month and still no chair. When looking at my account it states it was shipped and there is a tracking the Fedex but when I going to Fedex it say the package has not been picked up. I called wayfair to see what was going on with my order and they told they are behind to give it another week. Waited a week still no chair!! I'm done ordering from this company, they ****! My boyfriend also had issue with them. DO NOT ORDER!!!!"
"I ordered a dresser a week ago, and they sent me the dresser with only two legs. I ordered for the replacement but they sent me a notification that it won’t get to me till end of this month. My due to have a baby in a few days and it’s annoying to see an incomplete dresser in our tiny house (which we can’t even use till the legs come in). This is a huge inconvenience and their customer service doesn’t not respond to calls. They have put me on hold for over an hour. Not worth the stress! "
"I bought a curio cabinet and it arrived broken with glass everywhere. The next curio cabinet was delivered still In it’s box and slid through the door on it’s side. I can’t lift 300 pounds by myself especially when it has glass on all sides! Now I have to hire a moving company just To Put it in The upright position!’ I paid extra to have it delivered inside and now I have to pay again to have it put upright. I had to wait 10 hours for Wayfair’s delivery men and I had a mask and faceshield and they wouldn’t put it upright. NEVER AGAIN!!!"
"I recently purchased a dog kennel that doubles as an end table for our living room, but it came damaged. I reached out to their customer service online and a representative got back to me within a day. The issue was resolved quickly and they provided a refund. Although the item came damaged, their customer service and quick resolution made up for it!
I also bought a bed frame and a night stand from Wayfair last year, both have held up well so far and are good quality. Definitely better quality than many overpriced options I've seen at local furniture stores."
"Over the past few years we have purchased several items from Wayfair. The products and their business model works well. . . . UNTIL you have a problem and must reach them!
I have called three times about issues and each time I am placed on hold for a minimum of 40 minutes. I am currently on hold for more than an hour and that is why I have time to write this review. This is either unintentional and they are woefully under staffed, or more likely, it is intentional so you finally give up!
Again, when things go well it is a good experience. If not, save your money and TIME and just become an Amazon Prime member!"

I ordered the Arlo coffee table and it got delivered today. After unboxing it I noticed the corner of the coffee table was damaged and the white layer of paint had cracked. The lower shelf of the coffee table also has a lot of scratches and marks on it. Seems like this was a used coffee table that was returned. Also this item is now sold out so there's no way for me to get a replacement. Called customer service at 4 different numbers to try to resolve the issue and never got through after holding for hours. Never received an update as to how long the wait would be for a representative. Customer service is non-existent. Now I am left with a damaged coffee table I paid $200+ for. This is my first time purchasing from wayfair and will be my last. Originally I was planning to buy 3 more piece of furniture from them, luckily I held off on it. Overall this whole experience was a waste of time and money.

I've been calling for 2 days and finally got through to customer service. I was on hold for 1+ hour today before someone picked up. I explained my concern and the representative was very polite and offered me options to rectify the problem. I opted for the option to receive a partial refund than a replacement. Didn't want to have to deal with mishap again during replacement."
"My first order with "WayFar" Out - the Delivery Date changed with absolutely no email notification. I ordered a .35 cu. ft mini-fridge with quantities in stock for my son's birthday. Due date was adequate and I expected possible delays due to the current situation. My son's birthday is coming up and I went to check on the order. Item is now identified as backordered with a possible delivery date that will not be in time for my son's birthday. While waiting for customer service, I checked the website, the fridge is showing one in stock - okay, well obviously that is incorrect. Still waiting almost an hour for customer service to help find an alternative that might be on time, not waiting any longer so I cancelled the order. I looked at the website and it is now showing 2 in stock. What the heck!!! Thanks for the notice of delay and your inventory system s_cks."
