Worst Service to date

"I ordered a chair and a desk for my room. The chair got here in about 3 days, which is all good. The desk I ordered did not arrive for two weeks. I texted customer service for information about it. The representative told me that it would be an additional five days on the shipping time due to COVID-19 since that warehouse was affected. Later that night, I received an email explaining about the warehouse and it would be up to 30 days before the desk ships and that if did not the order would be canceled and I would receive a refund. Today, I got a text from the company telling me that the desk I ordered was out of stock. I waited three weeks for a desk that was never going to arrive. Now I will have to struggle to find a desk before my AP test. Overall, I’ve had a really bad experience with this company and I highly suggest that you shop elsewhere. "

Garbage customer service and horrible business ethics

"Impossible to get ahold of customer service. I left reviews, spend over 2 hours on hold before hanging up on 3 different occasions with still no resolution or any call back. I left emails and direct messages with no response. I was forced to keep a broken expensive fireplace because I could not contact anyone. I probably spent a total of 15 hours attempting to talk to literally anyone. Wayfair does not deserve your business, shop elsewhere, please. There’s a reason that they have less than a 1/10 rating with over 100,000 reviews."

Zero Communication!

"Pathetic! Ordered an item and waited 8 days with zero shipping communication. Waited 45 mins on the phone to talk to someone and they promised to have someone callback. Nope, didn't happen! Order ended up being cancelled without a single explanation. This is truly the most pathetic online purchasing experience out there!!!"

Unprofessional business, difficult to contact the customer service

"Received the package (chair) on March 26th. Found parts missing. Contacted the customer service and they had agreed to send the parts. After a long silence for a month, I had received an email from Wayfair about their inability to send me the missing parts as the item went out of stock. I had tried to contact them over phone; was put on hold for about 40 minutes and none answered. I called again and the same routine repeated."

Awful

"Wayfair is awful! We ordered a tall wooden storage cabinet in January! It came damaged-holes drilled wrong, hinges broken, split wood. Ordered a replacement, which took almost 3 months to arrive!! MORE DAMAGED WOOD!!! At least customer service is good (I guess they have to be when their products absolutely ****) and they fully refunded us. NEVER BUY FROM WAYFAIR. SHOULD BE CALLED WAYCHEAPSUCK"

Save Yourself the Frustration!

"Had I known my experience would’ve been as horrible as it has been with Wayfair, I never would’ve entertained their website at all. From ordering, to the missing of items, to the the late delivery, the beyond poor customer service experience, to the excuses made for the poor customer service, to the failed promises on order delivery, to the continued order delay and push back; this experience has been beyond unacceptable. To now have to wait for almost two months for my order to arrive is baffling and just overall horrible.

Wayfair is way unfair.

"these are hard times we're all just trying to keep our heads above water. most big credit card companies are cutting people breaks. Wayfair took my limit from $1500 and cut it to $200. my credit cards are towards the limit. But this was one of my few cards that wasn't even near the limit helping keep my credit decent. With what they did it made this card go from under 20% usage. And jumped it to over 90% usage. Destroying someone's credit intentionally in a time like this is a cold thing to do. I mean really shame on you guys. like I stated at the beginning in a time like this people are cutting brakes, putting stuff on hold. really if you're reading this considering whether you should use your Wayfair card or not don't this was my first purchase I made $160 purchase we've had this card for almost a year. First time I make a purchase they cut my limit down. Of course my credits not doing well right now like 90% of Americans. but when I called them to see if there was anything they could do they said they can run my credit and it probably would deny me which if they ran my credit again and denied me will just hurt my credit even more so thanks a lot Wayfair for destroying my credit and making it really hard for me to build back up when I was rate on the brink of bringing my credit in the good standings. Leave it up to a big corporation to smack you back down. Not to mention they cannot follow shipping instructions. So don't try to be sneaky with holiday gifts. they will totally blow that for you to the only thing these guys are worried about is making money. this is one of the sneaky credit card companies that you should avoid I am trying to warn people so hopefully they don't hurt your situation as well. "

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

"First purchase from Wayfair and NEVER again. I have been searching FOREVER for an area rug and thought I found the perfect combo with blue and burgundy. Well, the rug arrived today and the "burgundy" is BRIGHT HOT PINK! I called to return the item and I was told I will be charged a $24.95 return shipping fee. I tried to explain that I felt as though their advertising of the rug was misleading because I would have never ordered a HOT PINK rug. I basically was told too bad that the picture is clear online showing the rug is hot pink. Mind you the rug was only $104 so I have to pay almost 25% of the purchase price to send the product back. Here is a screenshot of their aid and two pictures of the actual rug... *Sigh* So buyers beware when you purchase from wayfair, terrible customer service only out for the $$$$$"

Awful awful awful.

"Awful awful awful. If I could give no stars I would. I ordered my wardrobe on 30th December. It was £269.99 so not a cheap piece of furniture! It was due to be delivered around 3 weeks later. The delivery day came and I hadn't received a text with my slot as they had said I would on the confirmation email. I rang to ask and the member of staff said that there had been an issue in the warehouse and it hadn't even been dispatched yet (from France). I would have been waiting in all day had I not rang them, they never informed me. The wardrobe then arrived around a week later and her started building. It took around 3 hours to build, however I knew that it was a lengthy build process from the reviews before I purchased so I didnt mind. We finally came to the door and realised when unpackaging them that the mirror on one of the panels was cracked. I rang and asked for a replacement. They said this would take another 3 weeks and they couldn't fast track this for me in any way. I was annoyed but accepted this. The replacement part arrived around 3 weeks later and this time the mirror was absolutely shattered. I ring again and express how annoyed I am and tell the member of staff how long I have been waiting for this issue to be resolved. She tells me that she will order another replacement and will request a fast track but cannot promise anything. The replacement part arrived around 3 weeks later (not fast tracked) and all of the wood is damaged and bashed around the edges. This is now the beginning of March (2 MONTHS LATER)! We have managed to make it work so that you can't see the damaged areas and that they are hidden. I shouldn't have to accept a damaged/faulty item but I am because I cannot wait another 3 weeks for what will mostly like be another damaged replacement part and I cannot ask to return the wardrobe as it's all built now and took us so long to build in the first place. I was never offered any reimbursement or discount (not that I would ever use this appaling company again), however it would have been something at least for them to offer... And to top it off I have several damaged mirrors to dispose of because the delivery driver will not take them with him. Avoid like the plague!! "

Wayfair will just delay you from buying elsewhere

"Like countless others, shipping and delivery is dismal from Wayfair.

After waiting nearly a month for my delivery of a shed, seeing the truck on the little map, I suddenly was faced with an "error" and to contact the delivery team for a re-schedule. ?? Turns out the package was damaged, like others have said, and the driver forgot to call me to notify me.

Wayfair's solution, refund my money or re-order and wait another month. I chose refund and will get the exact same shed at the same price from Amazon or Walmart or even Home Depot.

This was my first try with Wayfair and now my last. Hopefully the word catches on and they either straighten up their act or get out of the game. I only wish I would have read the reviews first before pulling the trigger and trying them.

"DO NOT BUY FROM WAYFAIR!!!

We bought what looked like a cool new bed from Wayfair and paid extra for "white-glove delivery" and assembly. Ordered it with plenty of time to be delivered to our new house. First, I got an email saying the delivery was delayed - by a week! Then, we finally heard it was going to be delivered this weekend and started to get excited. UNTIL - Wayfair contacts us to tell us they don't actually assemble the furniture they sell, and they'll be glad to do a "room-of-choice" delivery - with a third-party company coming out at a LATER date to do the assembly. We immediately cancelled our order. This company charges hundreds of dollars for "white glove" delivery, but they are liars. We still have NO BED, and now we're forced to wait a week from when they "receive" the bed back (it hasn't been DELIVERED!!) to get our money refunded.

We will NOT buy anything from them again and I encourage anyone considering Wayfair to look elsewhere!

Don't buy ANYTHING from this company!

"Don't buy ANYTHING from this company!

I ordered 5 things all of which were put on hold as a security measure (despite Wayfair confirming over the phone money had reached them from my account), I then had to send screen shots of my bank statement which I felt really uncomfortable with, eventually I got the items taken off hold but Wayfair didn't actually remove the hold so all items were then late by a week.

One went out of stock during the hold period so I cancelled it and two of the items had parts missing.

I phoned asking for replacement parts and was told they would arrive in 4 days but the confirmation email says they are expected 29 days from now. They are useless!

There's also no one you can speak to who can actually do anything about this. It's "company policy" to be maddening unhelpful and totally incompetent it seems.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR!
