I purchased two phones from Wirefly with a contract extension. I paid and was charged for NEXT DAY DELIVERY! AFTER paying and being charged, the representative tells me, they do not delivery on Saturday. The problem is that I needed the next day delivery as we are going out of town in 2 days. The customer service department kept explaining to me how it wasn't a problem because our phones would just be returned to their facility if they were not deliverable. UH, HELLO, THAT IS A PROBLEM. WE BOUGHT THE PHONES AND PAID TO HAVE THEM TOMORROW EXPECTING TO USE THEM TOMORROW!!!! Being returned your facility is NOT fixing the problem. I called to have our package re-routed to a FED-EX facility and they told me no. I SHOULD have done business with AMAZON who would have allowed me to deliver ANYWHERE! I will not be recommending this company in the future!"

"I purchased two identical smartphones except one was white for my wife and a black one for myself. I asked for my wife's phone number to be assigned to the white phone and my number to the black. Wirefly sent the sims with the numbers reversed and they had to remail two more sims with the correct numbers assigned. I had asked for a new service plan from the wireless provider, but it had to be changed because the plan was never changed thru Wirefly. The sales lady could not answer any of my questions about the phone or the plan without putting me on hold so she could find out the answer. It took me over an hour on the phone to make a simple purchase of two phones. She really fouled up the order sending the wrong sims and phone plan. Every time I called, it sounded like a party was going on in the background. No wonder they can't concentrate on what they are doing. Everything finally was corrected after three phone calls although it was a frustrating process. It was not worth the savings I got on the phones. Next time I will deal directly with the wireless provider.
Followup: Wirefly contacted me and promised to look into my problems. I raised my overall rating from a 1-star to a 3-star. At least the corporate office is concerned and follows up on complaints."

"***Updated, 9th November - Was contacted by Stefan and went through the information on my claim. Wirefly's warehouse wouldn't even be touched by FedEx until the 31st and with cases such as mine he worked with me and got me a replacement with 1 day shipping. Should be here on Monday, the 12th, and said he would contact me to make sure everything worked out. I'm definitely happy things worked out in the end and I will update later to see how things go.
8Nov - I ordered this phone on the 28th of October and was told it would be delivered on the 31st. 31st came around and the info changed on Wirefly and Fedex saying it hadn't even shipped yet, called and was on hold for over an hour and a half and had no help. Info changed and said it would be delivered by the 2nd. 1st rolled around and it changed to being delivered on the 5th. 5th rolled around and I called cause nothing had happened. Had someone put me on hold for over an hour and a half over multiple intervals, coming back with food in his mouth and eventually hanging up on me. Called back in 3 more times to get transferred to an automatic system. Finally got Customer Service on the 4th call after a 45 minute hold and was told it'd be delivered by the 6th. 6th came around and by 5pm I had a box from Wirefly left at my front door with papers for activating a phone and a sim card and nothing else. Called in and was told that Wirefly was not responsible and that they could do nothing. Went up the phone chain to escalations and was told that they couldn't do anything but put in an investigation that would take 28 days and would probably not yield anything. So, I'm here, out money, my phone upgrade and almost 9 hours on the phone."

"I would highly recommend avoiding purchasing from this company. I ordered a Verizon phone back in May of 2012 when they were running a $40 off bill credit promotion. It was to appear on my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd bill after my purchase. It is now November and I still have not received my credit. I've been calling them for the past 3 months and they keep insisting the bill credit will be on my next bill. The last time I called the customer service rep told me it was escalated to the finance department, although he said he could not provide me with a case number. I have just received another bill, and still no credit.
This company is a scam and will not honor their end of the contract. This was the only reason I ordered from them rather than from somewhere else, and will NEVER buy anything from them again.
Oh, and I almost forgot, my phone had a scratch on the screen when I received it."

Stefen followed through on his word and made me a very happy customer. He was very helpful and I would recommend Wirefly after the experience I had. While the CSR's could have used a little more training. Management goes above and beyond it shows a deep regard for customer experience.

I spoke with Stefen and he apologized for the issues. He got my wife's phone sent out faster which was appreciated. He also explained that their prices are constantly changing. So the moral of the story is, dont order by phone if you find a very good deal because it could be gone by the time you talk to an agent... It was very nice to have somebody from management reach out to a customer.

I purchased two Galaxy Note II phones on the day they came out. Wirefly had the phones for $249.99. I had never dealt w/ them before and I wanted to ask some questions about the insurance plans they offered. During the time I was on hold waiting to talk to an agent the price changed to $279.99 per phone. When I finally got connected to an agent they would not honor the original price and would not let me talk to a supervisor or manager.
Then when we got our phones my wife's phone had issues so we had to exchange it for a new one. You have to send in the defective one first. So she has been w/o a phone for several days and may not get the new one till Saturday or Monday (today is Wednesday). So I got overcharged by $60 and my wife will be w/o a phone for a week. Not a good experience. "
