"I recently ordered a phone as an upgrade to my existing Verizon service. I received the phone without issue, but the phone activation instructions didn't work. I followed the instructions exactly and when the phone did not activate, I chatted with your customer service who's only suggestion was for me to follow the instructions. They then offered the wrong phone number for Verizon support. I Googled the correct number and resolved the issue myself. My biggest problem with all this was that I contacted Wirefly with this information so that they could improve and they responded with regrets for the inconvenience and the suggestion that I turn the phone on and use it because everything looked good on their end. Did they read my comments? Are they working to resolve their failures? Apparently not."

"Note: I am posting both my original concerns and an update below. My concerns have now been resolved (see the update from 8/23).
Wirefly's 14-day "trial period" or "satisfaction guarantee" is extremely misleading. The period begins on the date of the ORDER. So, if you place an order for a new phone on 8/1, and receive the phone on 8/7, your 14-day satisfaction guarantee period expires on 8/14. This is so even though the sales invoice says that the period begins "on the date of activation." My phone was activated on 8/8, but customer service insists that the phone was activated on 8/1, because "date of activation" means the date the order was placed, not the date the phone was activated. I am now stuck with a non-functional phone that is clearly defective, and a company that insists that my "trial period" was half over by the time I got the phone. James, the customer service representative, refused to let me speak with a supervisor.
UPDATE on 8/23: I received a follow-up call from Stefan at Wirefly. He resolved my concerns by offering me an exchange, and Wirefly is shipping a new phone to me with a pre-paid return label so I can send back the defective one. So, although I am still disappointed in Wirefly, I am happy with the ultimate resolution."

"I have been using Wirefly for two years whenever anyone in my family needs a phone. Service has always been seamless. However, this last order was problematic. I had to change my phone selection because my choice, which was available at time of order, ran out. I then spent money to get a replacement to the free out of stock phone. That order being received, I went online to check delivery status only to find the plan I selected was needing a change. I fixed that. Now, ttoday, 10 days after my original order, I am told one of my accessories is no confer available. I will order again in the future, but ky expectations will be a lot less."
