"I want to reiterate on my comment. It's totally my fault for not reading completely of the shipping details and there was a serious snow storm on the east coast that held up shipping. But when I did receive My Keen Delta hiking boots it was worth the wait. They are warm, comfy and ZB's price is right and the staff was very nice. I was speaking out of anger on my negligence of the shipping details. I will definetely do business again. 2 THUMBS UP :)"
"I will never order from this company again. I ordered keen boots on 12-10-10, the order processed for 10 days. I called on day 6 or 7 asking why it was taking so long and was told that they had to order them from keen and that they should be at there store in a few days. I was promised they would be here by christmas. On monday, Dec 20th, the boots were supposedly shipped priority mail. I did not receive them by christmas eve so I called again, I spoke with a female that told me they should be here that day or monday. I explained that they were a christmas gift and I had ordered them 15 days ago. She said it takes 6-7 days to get them from keen and I asked if that was the case, what did they do with them the 3 days they had them before supposedly shipping them. It is now Dec 27th and I still have not received my boots. What really got me upset is that on dec 23rd, they posted on their website that if they had it in stock, they could ship it to you by christmas. WHERE IS MY ORDER THAT I PLACED ON DEC 20TH???? "
"I don't write reviews that often, but I wanted to take the time to write one for ZBSports - quite simply one of the best online shopping experiences I have had - I bought a winter ski coat from ZB - specifically a hard shell - not only was the price competitive, but I needed it asap - James, the owner of ZB, had his assistant personally call me to make sure the item arrived in an expedited fashion and in time for my trip to Tahoe - most big stores like REI and others just treat you like a number, but ZB actually VALUES its customers. I will definitly be shopping there again!"
"I ordered 2 pairs of sandals from ZB Sports for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. One pair shipped and the other did not. Long story but I panicked and James, the owner, reacted quickly and impressively. He took time from his family vacation to call me at 9:00 in the evening and make things right. By 2:30 the next day, the sandals were on their way via Express Mail. I am very impressed with the way he handled the situation and never have I dealt with a business owner who is so passionate and dedicated.

After speaking with their customer service and having no immediate resolution to my order issue, I was driven to writing a negative review. Upon reading my review, I was contacted directly by the president/CEO, James. James expressed personal concern about what had gone wrong in my order and took it upon himself to ensure that my order was corrected and that the problems I experienced were addressed. I very much respect the concept of a smaller business like ZBSports working to incorporate a holistic approach and I was disappointed when at first I did not want to order with them again. "I purchased a pair of Chaco sandals from this company and received them quickly and in perfect condition, however, I found the shoes to be extremely uncomfortable and contacted them to return or exchange. I received an email from a company rep, Amanda Parton, with my options to return or exchange them. I had a few questions and emailed them back with no expectation for a quick response and certainly not from Amanda. I heard from her the next day with an answer to every question. She continued to be responsive and patient as I decided which shoe would be the best choice and then processed my return and new order (which went on sale!) all in a few days.
I work for Marriott and live and breathe customer service, I'm rarely impressed. Amanda made me a customer for life. There may be thousands of shoe companies, but there aren't thousands of companies that care. Thank you!

"A Pleasant Experience of GREAT Customer Service
After looking locally and on the Internet, I found a great deal on a pair of Keen sandals at ZBSports. I placed an order for the sandals and they arrived a couple weeks later (on schedule if you do the math using "business days" as opposed to calendar days).
There was a (manufacturing) problem with one of the sandals and I contacted James (****@****) to see what could be done about it:
- within 4 hours had an email response
- within 18 hours I received a proactive phone call from Becca in customer service (when was the last time you had a service providor do that??)
- within 24 hours I had return shipping labels and a new pair of sandlas headed in my directon.
It doesn't get much better than that. Customer service to this extent will earn respect and customer loyalty.

"I just received a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 10 running shoes that I ordered the other day and, once again, I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience shopping at ZB Sports. Their prices are certainly competitive and are frequently the best available online. I have always received my merchandise within a couple days of placing the order, without having to pay extra fees for expedited delivery, and it always arrives in good condition. I have primarily been shopping at ZBsports.com for running shoes, but I definitely plan to look further into their other offerings, and I've already recommended them to friends. Great place to shop!"
