"I bought a motherboard from ZZF. Good price, good shipping, no problems getting it. It worked ok then had some issues, so I was going to return it. WOW did that suck. Submitted an RMA on March 2. By March 6 I STILL didn't get an RMA, so I had to call in.
After waiting for about 30 minutes I finally got to talk to someone and then I found out about their whole no cross-shipping policy. Normally that wouldn't matter to me, but it was already day 5 without a PC and I was NOT going to wait any longer. She said that I could buy the same one, return the defective one, and they'd waive the 15% restocking fee. Considering they don't even have a good RMA process (basically pen and paper at this point), I knew damn well I wasn't going to get that 15% back. So, instead of paying another 70 bucks to a company that sucked and possibly having to deal with them again in the future, I just said f it and I decided to go to newegg, who I KNOW has a GOOD RMA process. I wrote customer service after this poor experience on monday and as of Wednesday I've not even gotten a response. Never again. Only your FedEx shipping will be missed. The rest is completely forgettable."
"I found ZipZoomFly on recommendation from a friend. Sadly their service left much be desired and theirphone staff rude. I wont use them again - ever.
First I called to ask about an item. I needed info not in the description. The phone service woman was rude and told me not to bother her. Thinking she was just a bad apple, I was able to find the info elsewhere and ordered from ZipZoomFly anyway.
I ordered a hard drive ($115) for for overnight delivery to my house overnight ($17). They then wasted 3 days on "verification" - on a delivery to my home - which is same address as my card!
The "verification" department woman was rude and cut me off when I asked about my order, and why they are wasting time on an urgent order. When I told them to deliver it or forget the order becuase I will not accept any shipment after the next day, it suddenly turned up.
Forget these guys, they are jokers. Their phone staff that I met was rude and low class. I will stick to Newegg."
"I've always had good experiances with this company and they have always worked hard to treat me fairly. They stand behind the products they sell and that means a lot to me as a buyer. Because of this I find myself buying from them even at times that they aren't the cheapest or most convenient option. This is a grade A store."
"ZipZoomFly gave me unacceptable delays in my order verification, claiming that my order, which consisted of a processor, a few hard drives, and a speaker set, was too large to process without having a signed invoice sent to them. Had they stipulated this up front, instead of waiting several days to inform me of such a requirement, I would not have been upset enough to cancel my order with them, and would have already sent the invoice in. But they waited several days to inform me of this need, which cost me a great deal of time, meanwhile, the other parts of my computer, which I ordered from Newegg, were already shipped.
Further, even though ZipZoomFly said that they required further verification in order to ship my order, THEY CHARGED MY CARD ANYWAY, EVEN AFTER I CANCELLED THE ORDER.
Their customer service was also very rude and unprofessional.

"I purchased a kit of Corsair XMS 2 X 1024 3500LL Pro from ZZF for 303.00 on 2-17-06. Upon receipt and installation I ended up with BSOD's and errors. I tested in two boards with the same results, and verified one stick was bad with MEMTEST86.
I applied for RMA online and contacted the return dept and spoke with Mr. Jason Louis and he assured me I would receive a full refund. He immediately sent me the RMA number via e mail.
After they had the memory for 5 days I sent an E mail to Mr. Louis and he told me he would be "Away after today and to contact his colleague Armondo" with any questions.
Today I received a refund of 257.55, they charged me a restock fee of 45.45.
I called their customer service and the trained monkey on the other end kept repeating that the memory tested good.
I have been building computers for 10 years and have no doubt in my mind that I received a bad set with ONE bad memory module. Memtest86 verified this for me, I had 7,786 errors within 10 minutes with the bad stick, 0 with its mate. These sticks were tested in two different platforms to insure board compatablity, and again only one stick tested bad.
This is unacceptable. I feel I have been swindled.
Since they have chosen to charge me a restock fee that tells me they will be putting this memory back on the shelf for resale, maybe that is why I received them in bad shape to begin with , I may have gotten recycled bad memory.
Form 2-14 to 2-27 I have spent 1579.00 there since they still believe in using FED EX, but I am going back to the other guys and pay a little more to use FED EX since they would have never scammed me like this.
ZZF will not receive another dime of my money since this is the way they treat their customers.

"Terrible business practices. They make a big point of offering two day shipping, and then are unable to deliver in a timely fashion. I place orders frequently with several online merchants, and never have I seen a merchant that has actually AUTOMATED lying to customers. Order was placed on a Wednesday for Friday delivery. Wednesday night, I receive a shipping confirmation and a tracking number, with estimated delivery Friday by 4:30. Come Friday, I check the FedEx tracking information, and they have only been transmitted the package data, they have not actually received a package for shipment. After calling customer service (I had to find the phone number on another site) I learned that no, the package had not shipped, as their order status page indicated, but rather, an item was on backorder.
So, to sum it up- I trusted their site to be correct when it told me the products were in stock- I'm used to being lied to about availability, so no big deal there, I just make sure to keep an eye on the order until I get a tracking number. I then trusted them to be telling me the truth when they told me the package had shipped- Never been lied to there before. I'm not going to let that go. I immediately cancelled the order and placed an order with another retailer for only about $2.50 more per unit. "

When I place an order, they charge me more for power supply, suggesting that price have been changes between the time of me adding an item into the basket and time they sell it to me. Second, I order motherboard that they claimed to have in stock, even looking at their website 3/1/06 they claim to have one, however, I paid for something a week ago without knowing how many week or may be a month with take to be shipped. Support is terrible, I thought of saving a few dollars, but it turned to me a lot of stress, and paid more.
