Checked site 2 days later, and item showed as out of stock, and order showed as processing. On 16Feb status still showed as processing. Spent an hour calling numerous times before finally contacting their customer service to be told item was out of stock. Terrible customer service and misleading business practices. Well here it is Wed. 2/15/06 at 10:45pm est and still the order status shows " PACKED " . Trying to get hold of this company by phone is a joke, and that would be putting it mildly. Why would a company that does this volume of sales not have a 1-800 number to call, I should have checked this out first, big mistake on my part. I use to always deal with Newegg.com, but they were out of stock on the parts I needed, so I decided to give Zipzoomfly.com a try, this will haunt me forever now. I will never order anyting from this company again. I will be checking into filing a complaint with the B.B.B. tomorrow, that is for sure. I do not recommend anyone do business with this company.

"I ordered a soundcard from Zipzoomfly on Sunday. It was shipped on Monday and arrived on Tuesday. Simply amazing, and what makes it even better, the shipping was free.
Although I did order an OEM product, Zipzoomfly could have done a better job packaging the item. The card wasn't even fully "inside" the box. Half of it was on top of one of them box flaps when I opened it, meaning all the foam material was on one side of the box, not sufficiently insulating the card. But hey, at least it isn't broken."

I have always purchased my computer parts at ZipZoomfly's top competitor(NEW***). This time I decided to try ZZF for a couple of reasons. 1) the total price of parts including shipping was approx $25 cheaper than NEW*** and recently NEW*** has switched from 2 day FedEx to 3 day UPS. 2) ZZF offers FREE 2 day FedEx on most orders! So I gave ZZF a try not really sure what to expect.
I bought a total of 4 parts (motherboard, memory, cd burner dvd combo & hard drive). I used PayPal for payment. Now as soon as I made the purchase I realized I had made a mistake on my order..I got the wrong type of memory. Problem right? Wrong...in my account settings I was able to cancel my order that I just placed 5 minutes prior and then I did a new purchase with the correct parts this time. I thought that maybe this action might cause a delay in shipping but all was good. I ordered on a Wed afternoon, it was shipped on Thurs morning an I received it via 2 Day FedEx on Saturday. Thats right....SATURDAY!!! I was, still am, very happy. I have found a new supplier for all my computer building needs.
Also, when I called customer service to verify that my first order was indeed cancelled and to make sure there wouldn't be a problem I received nothing but reassurance and understanding. She even called me back, even though I didn't request it, to tell me that everything was ok with the PayPal refund for the cancelled order. Now that is great customer service.

"I had a question about a shipping error and the Customer Service picked up the phone after only nine calls to their number. My shipping question was that all items that had been shipped together with Free 2nd Day Shipping had a 7 day delivery date. I called to correct the problem and was asked to hold at which time they transferred me into voicemail. I called back and they again refused to answer the customer service number. They did not correct this problem, answer any of my web requests or return my calls. I would not recommend them to anyone simply because of their extremely poor customer service and their bait and switch practices with shipping."
