"Intolerable customer service. I tried to return a HDD I received for Christmas. I wanted to send it back and pay for the shipping and difference of a more expensive HDD of the same model series. The one I got was simply too small for my needs. 20 phone calls (each approx. 15 minutes, and emails and web RMA requests got me no response. No one answers the phone. The one time I did get through, the woman said they have a no exchange policy and to return would incur a restocking fee. She did not care that my intention was to upgrade to a more expensive product at zipzoomfly and that my current product was still factory sealed in it's original packaging.
I've done business with zipzoomfly many times in the past and always praised them for their fast shipping and low prices. I have learned my lesson that they offer those two at the cost of zero customer service and they have now lost my future business. If you shop zipzoomfly.com, make sure you intend to keep your package, even if it's broken, because they don't care about the sale once they get the money.

"After 4 days with no status except for "Processing....." I started to leave voice messages with customer service with no response. On 1/10/2006 I sent an email requesting that the order be cancelled. On 1/12/2006 I received an email stating that the order was shipped on the day after I had requested that it be cancelled. The order was shipped two weeks after the order was placed with no explaination for the delay. I also tried to cancel online on the order status page, An order cancel button should have been present since the order wasn't shipped, but the button was not present. I feel that my order was only shipped after I requested that it to be cancelled and don't understand the missing cancel button on the order status page. If the item was not in stock zipzoomfly should have notified me and given me the choice to cancel. "
"Extremely upset - I ordered a digital projector for a client and had it shipped to my mailing address, which happens to be a UPS store. The package was supposedly "left at front door - no signature" by Fedex - the package was never received. I filed a claim with Fedex, but they will not talk to me - only the shipper. I have called and emailed ZipZoomFly multiple times, and have not received even one response. THis is toally unaccpetable Cusomter "service"."

That caused a slight hang up as I had to verify the address over the phone (maybe a 4 min phone call, prompt response and got to talk to a real person) which delayed the shipping by a day.
