"Even though zipzoomfly isn't my top pick for shopping on line, I've been purchasing from them for years. I have to admit that I've never had a problem until now. This last experience has been awful. I ordered Canon A520 camera December 3rd. I got a confirmation e-mail very quickly. Next day the 4th I got an e-mail that order had been shipped out. Checked FedEx site on the 5th - they still don't have the package. Today is 13th and still no package. Anyway, on the 11th (8 days after they charged my credit card) I called them. BTW getting through to talk to someone is quite difficult because depending on which options you choose from the menu the system may simply prompt you to leave a message. Don't bother with leaving messages they won't call back. Anyhow, talk to a customer support rep. He said the reason the item hadn't been shipped because it is back-ordered with no ETA (although the item shows in stock on the site) and no notification about to me. Ok, what next? I asked if I could cancel the order. He couldn't do it immediately and said he'll call me back in a few hours. It has been over 50 hours so far.
Jan 12 talked to a different rep. She said the item is in stock and she'll send a note to the warehouse. She also promised to keep me posted via e-mail. She never did. Just got off the phone with another rep who said he has no idea where the box is, but he is pretty sure it has been shipped out since there is nothing laying around in the shipping area of the warehouse. Oh, yeah, I asked him if I could cancel the order to which he almost too eagerly agreed. Except, the order has been shipped out. Paradox!!! When, I continued to politely express my dissatisfaction with my experience and how I am not going to shop at zipzoomfly anymore, he just casually said it was OK and hanged up the phone.
Conclusion: they stopped caring about their customers, and I am definitely not coming back."
"5 days later, I still do not have my order which was in stock, with free 2 days shipping. I called everyday and never reached a live person, left many VM and no one returned my phone call. Finally got someone from CS on the phone on friday, but they refused to help me to talk to FedEx to allow me to pick it up instead of waiting for delivery after a long weekend."
"I have ordered from zipzoomfly before and will again. The order arrives quickly. I only had a problem with the order confirmation. my credit card called to confirm the card activity which I confirmed then zipzoomfly had to call again and since no one was home did leave a message about what they wanted. then put my order in a problem confirming my order status until I contacted them. This was very annoying but I guess it is a good kind of anoyance and zipzoom shipped the order right away after I contacted them."

"I used ZipZoomFly because of their 2 day shipping. However they do not tell you that they require several days to process the order. However they do give instructions on their website that you can have an order shipped in the same day. I followed all these rules. And I am now without my stuff for five days. To top it all off I paid for 2 day shipping on my case, which cost almost as much as the case so I could receive and assemble everything the same day. I will never buy from them again

The buying process with zipzoomfly is probably the best on the web. As is true with all on-line business, customer service after the sale could stand improvement. That said, I keep coming back. "Great prices and free 2nd day shipping. If however anthing goes wrong with your order or you need to contact them, good luck! No response to several emails and phone calls to "customer service" is very frustrating. Three days of calls only got a message saying all personel are serving other customers then you get transfered to a recording asking you to leave a voicemail but then you get a message saying the voicemail box is full, for 3 days!!! Finally got my message with contact info in on the forth day! Only got a response out of them by filing a complaint with Paypal. Never again!"
"I receive item with a defective display. I request an RMA, two weeks later, no response (RMA was approved, but I only learn this by logging in and checking on the status of my orders/returns) I send it back, they hold it in house for 3 days, then ship it via ground, when I used 2nd day at time of purchase. 8 days after they ship, i get it back. They replaced a board that worked fine, and returned it with the very same defective display panel. Customer service ph # goes to voicemail. 6 days after leaving messages with cust service, returns, and leaving emails for both dept's as well, and they haven't contacted me. No RMA has even been acknowledged. I will never buy here again."
