"I just ordered an eee pc (1000) and so far so good. Basically, just waiting for it. Customer support called me to confirm address which was nice, and told me it was being processed the next day. This was great for me, people have been complaining about the shipping from here, but for me it's worked out great. People often want same day shipping and probably expected it, but they just need to read the shipping faq on the site, and it clearly explains how shipping works for them. Overall it worked out fine for me as of today, and expecting it in two days."

"Slow shipping, terrible description of product. Photo of 1 stick of RAM when there were 2 sticks of memory. Made product appear as if there was only one stick of memory instead of 2. Only notice that there were 2 is the word kit. "

"WARNING: AVOID ZipZoomFly due to their RMA policies.

I ordered a WD HDD 12/30/08 late night. As the order was over holidays, it arrived after January 6th. I did not have the time to check if the item was functional within 15 days after the order.

Item arrived defective - would not spin - right out of the bag. I contacted the seller for a REPLACEMENT on January 18 but to no avail.

This item was 5,-USD cheaper than the same at Newegg. For 5US, I'm taking all this c**p.
It's not worth your time going with low end sellers.

AVOID ZIPZOOMFLY! or pay the price of their customer service and company policies

"Nothing shows the customer service of a company like how they handle problems. Mine wasn't handled quite right.

I ordered a laptop hard drive and put FedEx 2 day delivery on it because I needed it quickly.

It was DOA and I contacted them for a replacement. They sent me an RMA # very quickly, even if I did have to pay return postage myself. I guess that paying for return shipping is the cost of doing business on the interenet with discounters. Still probably less money than retail.

When it was received, my original rush wasn't looked at. They have to have only a standard process on returns,I guess. It took through the next day to check it and tell me a replacement would be sent. The replacement went out the day after that. The replacement was shipped through regular channels and took a week to arrive. I asked for a refund on the Fed Ex 2 day difference in price and a store credit, and all I got back was an email saying that it wasn't marked to be shipped faster, which was not what I asked. Nothing else. Way too short an answer and not dealing with the issues.

It should not be too much to ask that when an item is shipped in a priority manner, its replacement is shipped in the same manner. That is good customer service.

From now on, if I have a rush on something with complex parts, I will look to buy it locally, even it costs a bit more so that I can get a replacement quickly and easily, if I need to replace it.

"Stay away from this company or you will lose your hard earned money!! Please read this entire review: Zipzoomfly sold a defective RAM kit to me. I applied and received an RMA number and returned it to them. Zipzoomfly received the package and returned the exact defective memory kit back to me. When I notified zipzoomfly of the problem, they stated that their policy for returns is only 15 days and that I would have to pursue the issue under the memory manufacturer's warranty return system because 15 days had passed. 15 days passed because zipzoomfly's shipping is slow and because they sent me the same defective part twice! So I paid for the memory, paid to return it, and still have the same defective part over a month later. Zipzoomfly has made no offer to remedy the problem even though the memory never worked and the PC which I built is unuseable without RAM. The memory supplier's warranty should cover premature failure but not parts received dead on arrival. It appears that zipzoomfly has found a way to sell you defective components, RMA them, return the same defective components to you with slow shipping, then hide behind their inadequate 15 day return policy. Sounds like a very shady business plan. Again, stay away!!!"

"I ordered what I thought was a single 2gb stick of SO-DIMM RAM from this retailer. The picture showed 1 stick. There was nothing in the specs about it being two sticks. I payed for 2 day shipping.

Came pretty much on time, but I opened the package, there are two sticks! Nothing on the product page stating that, and the picture shows ONE STICK. Now, as always, I did price comparisons before purchasing this product. Every product (at other retailers) that was 2 sticks noted in the description or specs "2x1GB" Meaning... TWO STICKS. Nothing on zipzoomfly.com about it.

After waiting until the week of Jan 5th to be able to speak to a human, I was greeted by the most apathetic CSR I have ever spoken with. After she told me that I was wrong and that this was my fault, I asked to speak with a manager.

Now I am speaking with an equally apathetic Manager by the name of Michael. How this guy got a job in customer service... I can't figure that out. He told me that I can send it back, but I cannot get a refund on shipping. And I have to pay to mail the product back. Basically, I am out $10 because they are too lazy to put a full description on the page.

He states that the product page ( http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=90059&prodlist=celebros ) DOES STATE that the product is two sticks. Because in the product name - "Corsair VS2GSDSKIT667D2 Value Select 2GB Kit DDR2 PC2-5300" - "Kit" obviously is very significant and means 2 sticks. Despite the fact that every single other retailer would denote a two stick product with "2 x 1GB" . And Despite the fact that the image on the product page is for ONE STICK!

As someone outside of the industry, it is my responsibility to know that KIT means two. As a retailer, it is not their responsibility in the specs to mention that it is two sticks. Yeah, that sounds right.

Worst customer service ever.

"The routers we bought from ZZF actually went down in price by $10 each between when we first saw them on special and and when we actually ordered a couple hours later.

The order shipped fast and was well packed.

If they can beat other vendors (that we deal with) on price, we will certainly not hesitate to order from ZZF again.

"Having been a loyal ZipZoomFly customer since it was GoogleGear, I didn't think twice about ordering from them. Well it seems they are a completely different company now. I placed my order on 12/31/2008 around noon EST. Got a call 20 minutes later confirming my address and I was told the order would ship that afternoon. I asked for 2 Day shipping which means Friday delivery. Before I went out for New Years checked my order status and the order didn't ship. Thats fine, I figured everyone left earlyf or the holiday. Friday comes and goes still didn't ship. Order status stated "Packed" since Wednesday around 2PM EST. I called Monday morning, and was told that a part was backordered. I never got an email or any communication stating that. Was told again that it would ship that day(Monday 1/5). Parts again did not ship. Called again today(Tuesday 1/6) and was told that the part that was backordered was had incorrect stock. Again I was told it would ship today. They offered to take 1/2 my shipping cost and refund it or give me a credit for my full shipping cost. I asked to see if they could bump the shipping up to Overnight since I need these parts so I can do my job and they told me I couldn't even if I was willing to pay the difference. This is more than likely going to be the last time I shall shop with ZipZoomFly. After years of extremely pleasant experiences this one has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I don't care about the sales tax, I'm gonna only shop with NewEgg from now on. At least I know I'll get the parts when I'm supposed to."

"The order was purchased with 2nd day delivery. The order was sent FedEx Ground and was not received for 12 days. When customer service was called I was promised a call back that I never received. When I called a second time the caller was almost argumentative. Customer Service…what customer service. There are a lot of discounters on the web and the only other thing to discriminate is how people are treated. Before I spend my money here again, what compelling reason would I have to do so?"

"I made a purchase on the 19th after being enticed by their free 2nd day shipping. I had already purchased my i7 920 from them a week prior. Three days after the purchase it still read "processing order." I sent an e-mail and recieved no reply and then sent another two days later. By monday, the 29th, I was infuriated. I received ram from newegg.com (with regular shipping) a full 5 days sooner. I'm STILL waiting on my mobo which will be a FULL 2 weeks late because of the holidays.

Bottom line: They couldn't even explain to me why it's late--guessing they just over looked the 2 e-mails which were NEVER replied to--And it still took a full two days after the phone call for them to try and ship it (as if I placed the order that day).

They screwed up and did nothing about it.
