"In an effort to actually be redundant, I too got screwed by ZZF on two of the three rebates I submitted to them in May of 2010. The only way I got them to respond to me and pay out the only one rebate they said was properly submitted (we all know I properly submitted all three rebates) was to file a complaint with my State Attorney General's office of consumer protection. After they agreed to pay I still had to contact my state's consumer office to get ZZF to cut the check. "

I'm a PC tech living and working in Hawaii, and ever-increasing shipping costs force me to play a very active role in shopping for inventory. ZipZoomFly's shipping charges are pretty good, and their merchandise pricing is typically competitive. They are lacking in one major area, however, and that's in the order-processing routine. Perhaps their webmaster could straighten out some of the problems but the sales staff should maintain a database of frequent customers so as to avoid the hassle that's inherent with shopping at ZipZoomFly.

"I wanted to upgrade my current PSU to a Corsair 1000watt PSU and was pleased to find it on Zipzoomfly.com at a price well below Newegg (and to sweeten the deal there is/was a $20 rebate on top of that!). The two day shipping was very competitive and only a few dollars more than the standard delivery price so I went with that and I am happy to report that once the order got submitted after the 4th of July holiday weekend I had my PSU in hand on the 9th. The PSU was packaged extremely well and got to my door in perfect condition. I have used Zipzoomfly off and on since they called themselves Googlegear and they have never disappointed me. If I had any comments on improvement it would be in the area of email contacts. They need to see how their competitor Newegg does it and mimic it because there is never any doubt where you are in the process with Newegg as compared to Zipzoomfly. But honestly I admit that I may be nitpicking since the order status can be obtained from their website but that does require a level of proactiveness on the part of the customer as compared to email updates showing up in your inbox. I am of the school that more communication with a customer is better than less and I am use to Newegg emailing on the progress of my order.
But having said that, I can assure the reader that I will use Zipzoomfly again in the future.

Ordered a 2600xt on the 2nd and received it on the 8th, I would consider that the shipping took some time given the distance my home and the company (Bay Area). I just hope in the future, the shipping speed will improve. "I bought a high end GPU from them (amongst other items in the order); thinking wrongly that it is compatible with my set up. Unfortunately it was not. I immediately contacted them to return the item. At first they offered me a "generous" return with 25% restocking fee on a graphics card that was unboxed, with me further contacting them within a week of getting it. Then they quoted me that my items should be returned within 15 days for somethings and 30 days for others. I reiterated that I contacted them within the appropriate period only to be told, in a followup email that they don't [LOL] support returns only exchanges for this product at all (with their previous statement contradicted). Their odd return policy was something clearly UNLISTED on their website, or writ in such small print as to make it unlisted.
I've been buying from zipzoomfly for an awful long time, in Internet years. I bought close to $3200 dollars worth of goods over 4 years now in fact. Never have they they stoop this low.
Caveat Emptor, this is not a place you want to make a serious buy from."

"I successfully ordered several OEM hard disks from zipzoomfly.com. My order was processed in a timely fashion and the hard disks were individually packed in its own special rectangular foam box to protect them from package handling. I've ordered drives from other outfits and were not packed sufficiently. Upon surface testing each drive, I am happy to report all drives are defect free and not DOA. I will be buying hard disks from zipzoomfly.com again. Thanks."
