"Great experience. I ordered 7 items on the 17th with 5-7 day Fedex delivery and they were sent out the very next day. I received all the items on the 22nd in good shape. I was a little worried at first because the memory went out of stock right after I ordered. I called customer service and they were very helpful and let me know that the last memory module was on hold for me."
"Okay -- here's the situation. Bought a hard drive at a good price - about $60 for a highly rated 500 gb SATA drive.
Got a defective drive. Not recognized by my computer, ran so hot that I could fry an egg on it.
Okay - stuff happens. But, instead of getting a hard drive, I'm out $20 (15% restock fee plus shipping) to return defective merchandise to the supplier.
Pretty darn bad feeling on this one....
If it is DOA, I should not have to pay 30% of the original cost, and have nothing to show for it at the end of the day.

"ZipZoomFly happened to be the only reputable website that had the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 in stock and available to order.
I normally shop at NewEgg but decided to browse through ZZF and see what they had (since lately NewEgg seems to have had a great fall). Turns out that ZZF's prices beat NewEgg even after shipping or in some cases NewEgg's FREE shipping.
I ordered the eVGA 780i motherboard, the Intel chip, an eVGA 9800 GTX, and a Logitech G9 Laser Mouse. My order was processed and shipped out in a reasonable amount of time (could have been a little faster...but wasn't horrible).
FedEx had the package arriving Friday...but then they "adjusted" their estimated arrival date to the next Monday (the slackers). That really ticked me off...since I wanted to work on building my system over the weekend and my NewEgg order (some of their prices were still better) arrived Thursday through UPS. This wasn't ZZF's fault...but I wanted to vent about how cruddy FedEx has become.
Anyway...two thumbs up to the awesome website! ZipZoomFly! Great products, great prices, great service...weird name.
Update: Got a call from ZZF and they left a message informing me that they were refunding my shipping! I never asked them to do so nor did I blame them, but if I had a third thumb I'd raise it to ZipZoomFly. I feel bad about them having to eat FedEx's mistake...but I'm not going to turn down free shipping!"
"Ordered a CPU from them, due to unforeseen circumstances had to cancel a few hours later. Order was already in packed stage but called customer service and they took care of me without hassle, cancelled the order promptly and got a refund a few days later. They have great customer service and have shipped very quickly for me in the past. Would do business with them without hesitation."
"I ordered a graphics card and it arrived in good condition. The product was well packed with bubble like air pouches instead of the foam peanuts that other places use. I like that.
The ordering process could be improved. They should remove all of the extra sign up for this and receive an extra X dollars off of your order. This kind of stuff makes the ordering process more distracting and confusing.
Overall, a fair experience."
"this is a good online store to shop at the have very good price and very fast shipping even for ground delivery home I got my order in 2 days even though it says 4 to 5 days. And their price if you don't see it at a good price just check a week or two latter sometimes a month and i notice the price on their items drop from 10 dollars to 200 dollars depending what your shopping for."
"I ordered an Intel E8400 processor from them on April 9th. It took them 3 days to ship the processor! No response to my inquiry as to why it was taking so long. It's supposed to arrive on the 18th, so in total 9 days, if it arrives on time.... In contrast, all the rest of my parts were ordered from Newegg and I received them all in 2 days. I will not be ordering from ZZF again.
Apparently ZZF does care about its image as they sent me this email on April 18th:
Dear Customer,
We are responding to your review on ResellerRatings.com. Please note, it takes 1-2 business days to process an order first before it ships. This information is stated on our site; we have included a link below for your reference. Your order had shipped out with Ground shipping after the second business day, and was delivered within the 5-7 business days required for that method of shipping. We do not see any delays in regards to the processing and delivery of your order, however, if you have any questions in regards to your order, you are more than welcome to contact us and we will gladly help you out.
And my response:
Although you shipped in accordance with your stated policy, the reality is that you need to do things much faster if you wish to survive in this highly competitive marketplace. I guess you didn't count April 9th as a whole business day but the order sat in "packed" status for another 2 full business days, finally shipping on Saturday the 12th. Also, not responding to my email inquiry didn't help. Bottom line, you guys are slow. I can get the same parts from Newegg in 2 or 3 days, using ground shipping from California. Apparently, I am not alone in this opinion as ZZF is scoring "
"ZZF was the only place I could find the particular motherboard I needed. They had other things I needed (at good prices... if I ever get my rebates) so I also ordered memory, PCIE video, cpu, cpu fan and paste from them. My order was promptly processed, shipped within hours and arrived exactly on time with a minimal shipping charge of $14.09 for FedEx 2nd day air. All components were exactly as ordered, safely packed and in good working order.
I am, however, beginning to wonder about the $65 in rebates I mailed in more than 7½ weeks ago. The only thing I've seen is an email from Corsair saying they've received my submission.
Edit: I finally did receive all my ZZF rebates. The final one arrived today. It took five months to get here.

"First-they have a so called "surcharge" of $10.00 for any orders to Alaska or Hawaii. A surcharge implies that a special service or procedure must be done to ship the item. Cmon, last I checked Alaska and Hawaii are in the United States and all the carriers ship here UPS, Fedex, DHL, and the United States Postal Service. It just costs more. They should just charge the shipping cost like everyone else.
Second) they require you to call in and verify your oder by phone after you place your order with a credit card. They funny thing is the phone number they give you is not toll free, and they neglect to tell you that they are only open during certain hours.
Asking for verification of a credit card order by telephone via email is absolutely useless in preventing fraud it just inconveniences the consumer.
I cancelled my order"
"I am very satisfied with my recent purchase from ZipZoomFly. Their website was very easy to navigate, they had the product I was looking for in stock and at a very reasonable price.
Shipping was very fast and the items were very well cushioned in a large box.
I will not hesitate ordering from them again."
"I Placed a order for a external HDD enclosure on 7 April. Enclosure arrived DOA.
I called ZZF and told them that the enclosure was DOA. Their response was "sorry" that I would have to pay for return shipping for an RMA and a 15% restocking fee if I wanted my money back.
EDIT:
I was contacted on 15 April from ZZF after they read about my issue here on Reseller Ratings. They will be sending me another enclosure free of charge."
"The outside shipping box was terribly mangled, but the inside syrofoam box in the shipping peanuts seems to be OKI, and the hard drive seems to be OK when I place it in a computer. Only time will tell if this hard drive survived a terrible ordeal in the shipping process.
My overall opinion is that FedEx sucks rocks, but ZipZoomFly seems to understand this and takes good precautions."
"They charged my card for the full amount and said all the items shipped (even provided a tracking number). Then five days later I get an email that one of the items was out of stock - it shows as shipped to me on the website. Apparently they "print a label before they check if the item was in stock" and it just crossed in their system.
Now I have to wait for a refund on my card. This is VERY SHADY.
I wish I found these reviews sooner. As other reviewers wrote this is SO not worth the few dollars cheaper then newegg or a similar merchant!"
"Excellent site, that has gotten even better with the new layout. Items were easy to find, and comparing prices on similar items has never been easier. If they add a "print this page" link to the invoice page it will be perfect."
"Shipped same day and arrive 3 days later via free ground shipping. Best prices around for these WD7500AAKS HDDs for my RAID box"
