"I am editing this rating after taking some responsibilty for yesterdays customer service debacle with my latest order from ZZF.That being said poor communication from ZZF definitly made this situation a lot worse.
As far as my previous situation with ZZF
I Bought OCZ4001024PFDC-K memory last year They y sent me OCZ4001024PDC-K " by accident"which was cas 2.5 and 20 bucks cheaper than the cas 2 I should have recieved ... stupid me did not catch the F missing in part # till I upgraded memory yesterday.Now I know why my computer freaked when I tried to run the memory at cas 2. ! Had the reverse happened someone in their shipping dept would have been in trouble but because I got shafted it was no big deal. My advice verify every single digit on that memory stick because 1 letter or # off makes the difference between top notch stuff and just the basics . I still will not by from them again. "
"Ordered from them twice, and the prices have been good. But the shipping has been exemplary ! NewEgg and Fry's Electronics take a couple days to get items you order out of their warehouse. ZipZoomFly takes only ~hours~ !"

"I ordered the new 45nm core 2 duo cpu from them on friday (around 2am). i check the website on friday afternoon and the status was "packed." i check again daily, monday thru thursday and it's unchanged. at the same time, i check the product page daily and it changes from from out of stock to in stock but the price rises by about $20. I call to ask and they tell me they're out of stock even tho the product page says otherwise. they blame it on a computer error but i think they see supplies falling and prices rising so they don't want to honor my purchase til the market price drops to my original purchase price."
"I ordered a twin2x2048-6400c4dhx matched memory modules expecting this to be 4Gb total memory. I thought I was getting two 2gb modules in the packages when I got a 2x1gb modules instead. The corsair modules read CM2X1024-6400C4DHX in the package. The corsair company is providing a little misleading labeling on their product. I contacted ZipZoomFly.com and they could not do anything for me as they are not allowed to make any changes. With shipping and restocking fees it's not worth it to return.

My response to their possable canned response. In my original comments I stated what happened to me and my openions on corsair's labeling issues. Below is my response to their response.
If the product is labeled in such a way to be confusing to customers it may not be in your interest to have a loss of sales and bad customer opinions. It would not take much to have suppliers revisit their marketing strategy and re-label their product in a way that is easier for customers to comprehend the product. Customers want to quickly grasp and an understanding of a product. If they are looking for a 4 GB memory module then have it listed clearly in larger print and then have more amplifying details following. Many customers are not technically minded even though they believe they are. Simple easy labeled products will sell quicker then confusing cryptic information labeled products. I've had one bad experience from this encounter with your company even though it is not your fault with labeling but I do believe that you are just accepting anything the supplier is providing and pushing it out to customers. This type of attitude and canned response from your customer service center infuriates customers. Try a different approach with the people who give you money for products you push out."

"Ordered Intel processor and motherboard, both indicated "In Stock", FexEx 2nd Day Delivery. Order approved with no problem, status was "Shipped", with no 'Cancel' option, yet no tracking information provided. Credit card was charged immediately. The expected delivery day came and went, with no indications on web site "order status" that anything was wrong. I e-mailed customer service, they responded that the item was "unfortunately backordered" and they did not have a chance to update the web site. They did give a new expected arrival date for stock to arrive at their factory (which I did not believe). I was never given the chance to cancel my order (in spite of clear company policy that such would be allowed if something were backordered). Ultimately, I did receive the processor and motherboard in perfect condition a couple of days after their expected stock arrival date. However, I do NOT appreciate the apparent deception at taking orders for items they do not actually have in stock. I will NOT be ordering from ZZF again due to the shenanigans they pulled to avoid my order cancellation, even if it means having a longer (but honest) waiting time. Sorry, ZZF, you win this time, but never again!"
