"I ordered some Corsair Dominator memory from them and it was just thrown in a box, the memory was no longer in the manufacturer case and there was no padding inside the box. Terrible Service!!!

One of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. I ordered a E8400 which was supposedly in stock at the time of my order...it wasnt. After 9 emails to their customer service with no response, an email to the BBB, and paypal resolution center I finally received my refund 2 weeks later. During those 2 weeks they continued to sell the E8400 which they didnt have in stock. I also received an email today from their so called customer service and they said that item was high in demand and that they never received any of my emails...well why was it listed as in stock on your website and ready to ship in 24 hours??? AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!

"most items shipped and received in a timely fashion, however key item missing from invoice, note left in shipping package that said item was back ordered. no prior warning item was out of stock, was listed as in stock and that it had shipped. reported item missing from shipment and 48+ hrs later, still no reply from zipzoomfly"

"I placed an order for a product that I needed right away. I was unable to call and and speak to anyone because they dont make it easy to find a phone number anywhere on thier website. I pay extra to have that item shipped overnight. After a day, I had not recieved any order confirmation at all.
I managed to find a customer support number through a google search and called them.
Even though I had specifically paid for an overnight order, they did not actually ship the item until the next morning. even though my orde rhad been placed before 12:15, it was apparently too late for them to ship it that day. I recieved confirmation the next afternoon.
The package should arrive today, but i still havent gotten a tracking number.
I will never do business with these people again.
They are located within a 20 minutes drive of me yet I cant call them, they have no outlet, and I cant even drive over to pick up something. If they are going to offer overnight shipping, they need to examine thier shipping policy as it is utterly ridiculous.

"Over the past three years I have spent probably $5,000 at ZZF for all my "new computer parts" needs. I chose them over NewEgg because NewEgg charges my state tax and when you're buying a $1.5-$2k computer that adds quite an additional charge, making ZZF a better deal.

HOWEVER.. my most recent order with them has turned out to be hell and has proven to me that they are going down the drain. I've never had to deal with customer service there before, but my first experience has been TERRIBLE.

I received defective Crucial RAM and had to return it. The RAM cost upwards of $100 and when I contacted Crucial (hoping for an exchange) they said that they could but only after 30 days of the purchase and that before that it had to go back to the store. Great... so I contacted ZZF. They don't do exchanges. No ands, ifs, or buts about it. They don't do exchanges.

My only option was to ship the RAM back to them Priority mail (otherwise my RMA number would expire before the product gets to California where they're located) with insurance and delivery confirmation. $10 out of my pocket that ZZF will not reimburse. OK - but here's the worst part. Even though they shipped me defective RAM, I am responsible now for a 15% restocking fee. That amounts to another $15 ... for a total of $25 that this BAD ram costs me out of my pocket.

What does that mean? It means that the RAM I went and bought from NewEgg immediately following my ZZF return now costs me $25 more than it should have because ZZF screwed over a loyal customer. I contacted them by phone, and by email, and nobody will return my calls. I expected that a professional company would make the wise business decision and treat their loyal customers right as I've clearly been buying ALL my parts from them over the past few years. However, I suppose they just don't care. That's the impression I get.

Buyer beware. You may get lured in by good prices, you may even get exactly what you ordered on a very timely basis... BUT. If they ship you a defective product (bound to happen, check Newegg reviews before buying at ZZF and you'll see, a small handful of people ALWAYS get a bad product) then you'll get SCREWED by ZZF.

Protect your investment, save your time and your money -- It's cheaper to go to NewEgg and buy there EVEN if ZZF is running a sale and doesn't charge you tax. In the end, buy from NewEgg and just save yourself the aggrevation.

"ordered yesterday afternoon feb.5, items not shipped. i want to change my order today, they won't let me do it. they want me to pay 15% re-instore fees even it has not shipped. I asked to transfer my call to manager, the phone was dead then. very poor experiences here. Finally I got the package, what they mean packed, is just original box without any protection. also there is no official receipt or invoice. I have to call them to get one for MIR. I will never buy anything from them."
