"Not impressed with these people. Most of the items were defective or DOA with these folks. I bought an Asus S-Presso bare bones system-DOA. Issued RMA, paid to ship back and they charged me 15% restocking fee. DOA XFX 8400GS-returned to XFX and OCZ 2 gig pc 6400/800 kit that one reports as 667. I am sticking with Newegg and Clubit."

"Ordered a 750W Ultra Uv Power supply, for $70 less then most all competitors. Even with their (Being the competitors) rebates zipzoomfly was far cheaper. And that was at regular price of $70, most all other shops were $99 to $140

Great First Purchase!!! Not only was the item shipped out fast, the 2 day delivery for $1.50 more was expedited with great speed. Items arrived as expected, fast and well packaged.

I was kind of unsure about making a order with zipzoomfly after hearing some of the terrible reviews, now I am glad I did. Seems very fast and professional to me.

Just placed my second order this morning, I hope and believe all will go as expected, great. Ohh, also got a great deal on 2 day shipping for this second item bringing the price to be cheaper then The Egg with faster shipping.

"Very aggravating experience with ZipZoomFly. I ordered the product, was sent an emailing indicating I needed to call and verify, so I did. Unfortunately the product was never sent. After waiting 2+wks I called again and learned that my order was mysteriously cancelled. In need of the item, I called to complain and learned there was no recourse whatsoever. I paid for the expedited shipping only to learn that newegg.com had the same item for 2/3 of the price. I feel frustrated and ripped off."

"I ordered an Acer AL2216WBD 22in Wide-Screen LCD Monitor (Black) Retail, selecting Zipzoomfly.com on the basis of price. The order was delivered as scheduled and the unit started right up.

There was a slight delay in processing for the financial check, but that went through quickly, and I had no problem with this.

"Order was suspended until it was confirmed. During 1st order I was blown out of the final payment process at the end of transaction for an unexplained reason. I re-submitted order and found that I was going to be charged twice for the same item and cancelled ist order. This caused my order processing to be delayed for a day until I participated in a confirmation process with Zipzoomfly to make sure order was legit.

While this was a bit of an inconvenience, I recognize that this was for my protection and benefit, and therefore have no problem with their actions.

My order just shipped today and I hope to receive it shortly.

"My billing and shipping address did not match. Newegg has never had a problem with this; however, ZZF does. I understand that was my fault, but when I called ZZF up, they gave me the runaround and did not want to ship my product despite my own verbal verification of my address. They couldn't re-process the order and, as a result, I'd lose out on the Mail-In-Rebate opportunity. They'd not re-verify the billing and shipping even though it was changed with my bank (and showed in my bank records), so they told me to re-place the order. This caused me to check www.newegg.com's inventory and guess what? They ran a deal that actually ended up being cheaper than ZZF's. This was on the Antec P182 case.

So, if you want a smooth, snag-free transaction - stick with newegg. If you want the runaround if there's ever a problem, go with ZZF.

It's a shame, really - Newegg has so much clout in the PC parts business, they're killing off everyone else. Seeing ZZF's recent reseller ratings, I'd imagine that it's only a matter of time before ZZF goes the way of the Dinosaur.

"Bought a WD 500GB SATA harddrive for ~$100. Zipzoomfly wanted a confirmation of my home address, so I replied by e-mail (customer service was not reachable by phone) and 2 days later I got an e-mail that my order had been shipped. It arrived as scheduled. The packing of the box was OK and most important the harddrive works 100%.
Lukily the drive works fine, since reaching customer service seems very difficult.

Conclusion: Positive experience, because nothing was broken/delayed...

"Zipzoom is a great seller, I've used them on and off since they were googlegear. Low prices, fast shipping, and i know i can trust them to send the product i ordered in good condition. The only reason i dont use them more is because i prefer to buy from local stores when possible for many items. But for things like memory, and cpu's etc... These guys are the way to go!"

"Took almost a week to get in contact with support in order to confirm my address when they added an extra space to my addresses which threw off verification. Calling in is huge pain. Inconvenient hours. After almost two weeks, case arrived.

I had to give my dad a scratched PC case for Christmas. Newegg is the way to go.

"I had a very unsatisfying experience with zipzoomfly. I ordered a HDD cooler on 1-11-08. On 1-14, I received an email stating my order was "packed". On 1-15, my credit card was charged the full purchase price plus shipping. I didn't receive a tracking # or any type of email for the rest of the week. On 1-22 (7 days after my card was charged), I called their NON TOLL FREE customer service line. I was told someone would email me by the end of the business day. On 1-23, I called (my dime) customer service again. I was informed they no longer could get the cooler and would refund my money "in a few business days". Order cancelled-LAST time I do business with zipzoomfly."

"These guys are always fast, cheap, and I have never had a problem with them. I've ordered multiple systems in pieces and everything arrived as ordered and in great condition. I can't tell you how their return system is because I've never had to use it but e-mails to customer service were very responded to very quickly and personally with information pertinent to my request. I've had such good experiences with ZZF in the past that I will always check them first before I go to NewEgg."

"I ordered a Seagate Hard Drive from the ZipZoomFly.com on December 23, 2007, which did not work when it arrived. I contacted Seagate (the manufacturer), who had me run diagnostic software on the drive. That diagnosis indicated that the hard drive is defective.
I contacted ZipZoomFly.com, speaking with Brooke Miller, who provided an RMA number and told me to return the drive and place a new order online for another one. I did so.

When the 2nd hard drive arrived it was also defective. The diagnostic software was also run on this drive – again showing it to be defective.

I called ZipZoomFly.com at ***-***-****, speaking with Gina at extension 2217. I asked for a refund. She told me that they would not accept a return of the hard drive, refused to give me an RMA number, and told me that if I returned it without an RMA number on the package the package would be refused.

I offered to purchase a different brand of hard drive from them if they would accept the 2nd defective hard drive and credit me for it. They refused.

Therefore, I have disputed the sales with MasterCard who will charge the sale back to ZipZoomFly.com

I will NEVER order anything from them again and will tell everyone I know to beware.
