"I ordered a copy of Vista Ultimate 64 bit from ZZF due to Newegg being out of stock. My order status said processing until Feb 13th. Over the weekend of the 10th and 11th I began to get dissappointed but no way to "cancel" the order. My bank account reflected the money had been taken out and then put back so I was thinking it may never process. I emailed them thinking they would read it by Monday afternoon or Tuesday. By Tuesday afternoon I gave up and ordered from Newegg and sent ZipZoomFly another message via their on-site customer service form and told them I had talked to my visa card about refusing payment and refusing shipment when delivered. A few hours later the sent a tracking number via email. A friend is purchasing the item from me for a computer I built for them. I'm selling it at a loss to keep from hassling over it. I'll never order from ZZF again. Where is the "zip" ... "zoom" .... and "fly" ? More like 'ZilchZeroFried'. I paid FedEx overnight to get my merchandise 8 days later.
This is my second stopping place to report this incident. I plan on sharing the word in the forums of hardware enthusiasts also. You know. The people that buy from ZZF. I would glady update this report if I recieve some kind of apology at least. "
"I placed an online order 02/07/07 and received confirmation at 11:52am.
At 9:24am on Friday 02/09/07 I called customer support and asked if I could change shipping method since the order had not shipped yet. I was told at that time ALL items were ready to ship and that only by canceling the order could I change the shipping.
On Tuesday 02/13/07 I received the shipment and it was incomplete. At 12:30pm I called customer service again and the woman told me that the parts had been back ordered. I asked her at that time to cancel the order and she said she would. I submitted an online form referencing the conversation. In accordance with their Terms of Sale I expected this to happen. "ZipZoomfly reserves the right to cancel any order that we deem necessary, at our sole discretion, regardless of the order status or whether you have received a confirmation of the order."
This morning 02/14/07 I open my email and see a notice that the Corsair RAM had shipped. I had already ordered RAM from a different company.
On Friday (2/9/7) and on Tuesday (2/13/7) I left my phone number on the answering machine and no one called me back. Only by repeatedly calling and pressing '0' could I get a chance to talk with someone.
I have called my credit card company and informed them that I intend to dispute the charge for the Corsair RAM.

The last time I used this company was about 3 years ago when I upgraded my computer last. It was a great experiance and I had no problems. Boy, have times changed!
As it was time to upgrade my computer again, I went to zipzoomfly (before reading all the negative reviews on here) because I had remembered having good experiances.
On 020707, I placed an $1100 order with them. When 020907 came around, it was still "in processing" as others have talked about here. I call there non-800 number right at 8:30am (when they open) and get voicemail!! I hung up and kept trying. After about 15 minutes of re-dialing, I got a 16 year old kid on the phone that sounded like he just woke up after a hard night partying.
He stated my order was being held because they "needed me to verify my address". "HUH" I said...? So I read off my address (which is what is listed with my credit card also) and he said he would release it and it would ship that day. He could not explain WHY I never got a phone call or email regarding this "problem"
Later that day I check...STILL NOT SHIPPED. So I call yet again the morning after, and you guess it....get VOICEMAIL. I keep trying, and get a woman on the phone. She stated "we have been really swamped" and that she would try and get the order out. She also offered to ship it SECOND DAY at no additional charge.
The next day, I get a shipping confirmation that my order finally went out...but guess what? THEY SHIPPED IT GROUND!! After she told me they would ship it second day because of the 3 day delay in shipping it.
I will NEVER order from this company again. Something changed at this company and they are NOT the same! I will be going back to newegg (even though they were a few dollars more on some items). "

"Horrible Service! Purchased Office 2007 Small Business OEM, and I got an empyt box, with a letter telling me to go to microsoft's site, where they wanted another fee and shipping to get the CD. After my purcahse was made appearently someone updated their site, which I didn't notice until after I tried to contact ZipZoomFly to resolve this.
I asked that they ship the correct product because I had a presentation that weekend and needed it, that I would return the old one, which wasn't what I ordered. I had the email receipt stating what I ordered.
I got an email back from Andy Huynh stating "There NO error on the site. Is listed clearly ( Please Note: License ONLY! NO CD/DVD included! To receive CD/DVD from Microsoft, follow instruction in the Kit. )". This is when I noticed the site was updated.
I then had to threaten to dispute the charge, complain about this online, and report to the FTC and attorney general to get this resolved.
They took their time getting back where they issued an RMA. And ignored trying to make this right.
I emailed them again about getting the product I ordered and they are not responding.
Their prices are cheaper than most, but you get what you pay for. Apparently there is not enough margin to operate and effective customer service center.
I will not purchase there again."

"worst company ever. They charge you extra for two day shipping then ship it ground so basically they are stealing your money. THen when you call to get the issue fixed there is no one on the phones to help you. I called on a friday at 9:00 in the morning and left a message for the manager to call me back. Its now monday and he still hadn't called i had to call in and ask specifically that the phone was handed to the manager. Worst customer service ever even worse than best buy and thats saying a lot. Never do business with these people spend a few extra dollars and go to mwave.com or newegg.com where you know if something goes wrong there will be someone there to assist you"

"These guys have gone downhill, and hit hit bottom. Ordered evening of 2/5/07, had not even been packed evening of 2/08/07, so I cancelled authorization on my credit card. Good luck getting in touch with them, did not return my calls. After I cancelled payment to them they cancelled my order and sent an email, so I guess they notice when you remove their ability to charge you.
I placed the same order with newegg, it shipped in a couple hours. Gee, tough choice there.
Like others here, I had no problems with these guys in the past. I think they must have new management or be going under and not keeping inventory. (despite what it says on website)
