"Shipping is miserably slow and email support is completly unresponsive. Ordered on Feb 2, and it's Feb 11 and still no package or response from them. I'd rather pay a few more $$$ or wait till it's in stock at [what one commonly eats for breakfast] (which is very rare since they usually beat ZZF but I wanted this part now and since ****** was out of stock I decided to try ZZF -- biggest mistake, esp. since the ****** now has it in stock at $15 cheaper) than deal with service like this. While your experience may vary, I will NEVER do business with them again -- I'm staying with ******."

"I've ordered from this company a few times over the last couple years and haven't had any problems until now. I ordered an Antec P180 case, and it arrived damaged, I've emailed and called customer service without getting any response at all.

Guess I should have checked reseller ratings before ordering again. Now I know not to buy from these guys.

"This transaction was great until may package arrived and I realized that these people did absolutely nothing to protect my memory. 1 stick was loose in the packaging and fortunately the memory still worked. I call up there to give someone a bit of my mind and they have the absolute worst customer service I have EVER encountered. That ***** on the phone was like what's the problem nothing was broken.... DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE people. I will never go back there again back to a good online store for me(can't say the name of it it's against the rules) for me... In the least none of this would have been a problem if they could have even put a peice of tape on the package to hold it shut it would have been fine."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MERCHANT!!!!

I placed an order for a Harddrive. They offered free shipping, but saw that 2-day was available for about $2, so I went for it. On the day of promised delivery, the FedEx tracking site showed it was delivered..but I wasn't at home to sign, and no merchandise was left at my door! It had been MISDELIVERED and signed for by someone else!!!

I call ZipZoomFly's customer service, and they say it will take them 4-6 weeks to conduct their investigation. Figuring that I need the drive soon, and even if they recovered the lost drive I wouldn't want to risk my data on it, I requested a refund. They flat out refused to refund my money for merchandise I NEVER RECEIVED while they do their investigation!!

I've been forced to seek resolution through my credit card company. First time I ever had to initiate a chargeback.

The Worst Customer Service, Ever. ZZF does not have a call queue system. If the support line is full, you're asked to leave a voice mail. Took me many tries to get a human to talk to.

Seeing other delivery related posts here makes me call shenanigans. I've ordered more valuable products from other merchants and FedEx delivered correctly on time and at my door.

"Well what can I say? I don't normally review stores unless I feel I have to warn other people so they don't end up kicking themselves like I'm doing right now.
I ordered Windows Vista OEM 64 Bit on Tuesday around 12 noon ET time with FedEx overnight shipping. ZipZoomFly.com is located in CA, so they are three hours behind. It was very clearly stated that if the shipping address is different from the billing address, the shipping address must be on file with the credit card company. Usually I buy all my tech gear from Newegg.com, however they were out of Vista 64 Ultimate, having remembered ZipZoomFly from a bunch of purchases years ago I went back to see if they had it and they did. Since Newegg requires the same verification, my shipping (work) address was on file with the issuing bank of the card. I placed the order on Tuesday, it stated in "processing" until Thursday morning. I called Wedensday evening to ask why it's still in processing, I was informed I had to verify to the address? This makes no sense but I verified the address. I asked why didn't you call or email me to verify to get the order to me? I wasn't even given an answer! It went to "packed" status mid-day Thursday, now Thursday evening it's still "packed." I will be calling them tomorrow demanding a refund for my overnight shipping. I will never buy from them again and if Newegg.com is out of stock on something - I'll wait instead of being frustrated by bush league service.

"I agree, this company has gone downhill. It used to be comparable to Newegg, but my past three orders with them have made me think otherwise. At this point, I'm willing to pay an extra few bucks for better customer service.

The first time they pulled the delayed shipment schpeel, it didn't faze me. Basically I paid $2 extra for two day shipping and several business days later they ship it out, much like Amazon. At least with Amazon you can cancel, with ZZF, the 'Cancel' option conveniently does not exist. For instance, I ordered an overpriced soundcard (smack me silly) with the $2 extra for two-day shipping on a Monday and it was shipped on Friday, so a Tuesday arrival of course. However, the soundcard arrived with a capacitor sticking up about 1/4" and bent to the side. Getting an RMA went smoothly enough, however they didn't ship a replacement out until 12 days after they received the original. So by the time I received the replacement, I was beyond the return period AND the rebate deadline. Twelve days... I don't get it. The icing on the cake was receiving a soundcard with the exact same problem! Lol. ZZF stuck to their no-returns-after-30-days-(from purchase date) policy. Eh... shomshing is very wong here. I get another defective card to replace the one sent in, I cannot return it for a refund and I am past the deadline for submitting the rebate for this purchase.

And then guess what I did? Yup, ordered another item from them. Again it's three business days after I ordered (with the now $3 2-day option) and it hasn't been shipped yet, there is no 'Cancel' option, and I'm left going, "D'oh!"

"This company has gone downhill. I went on my own past experience from long ago, and the aggregate ratings. I should have read the more recent ratings.

My order did not ship in two days, and I kept getting the voice mail when calling customer service. One person did call back and left a message but did not address why the order had not shipped. I regret that I went through these guys. I wanted my order quickly, and ZZF is not the company for you if you want it quickly.

"I was shipped a faulty motherboard. After repeated email, and multiple RMA requests, I have not received a response or acknowledgement of the problem, let alone anything that can be considered a resolution. As far as I can tell, they took my money and ran."

"I want to return the item I purchased, but ZZF won't reply to my request for an RMA number. It's been a week now. According to their return policy, I am at the end of the allowable return period, and still no RMA number. Tried calling their no-toll-free customer service number and got put into voice mail with no opportunity to speak to a human. This is my first and last order with ZZF."

" I bought a PSU back in 2006 and never got a receipt, only a packing list with the order.
The PSU died and I need a receipt to get warranty replacement. I could see the purchase on my account, but after 2 emails trying to get a receipt copy I realized all I was getting was a "runaround".
I used to enjoy shopping at ZZF but my last few attempts to purchase things there have been bad.
To sum up my observations, everything will be fine if they have what you order in stock and you don't have to return a product, the least complicated things can become very complicated. It seems problems arise with any customer related service.

"Product arrived safely and well package. Prices are very competitive for many products. However, Zipzoomfly needs a refresher course in Ecommerce 101. Processing my credit card took three days. When I called to inquire, the customer service line will not let you hold and throws you into voice mail. Do they call back? No. My email inquiry was never answered either. If you want to compete with the big boys (New Egg), then you need to process orders quickly and have access to customer service. "

"Reader: Below is a summary of what I emailed to zzf , this was my 2nd order, the 1st I was in no hurry for. but this one I needed by the weekend to fix my 'puter, so like others, if you are in a hurry, forget it, you be the judge.....

This item was ordered Wed night at midnight via overnight Fedex. A reputable seller would have shipping an in stock overnight order on the following business day, (Thurs.) I will not accept your 'fine print' excuses. Hands down it is inexcusable that an overnight order from calif to oregon would take 5 days or 3 business days to arrive. It is uncontionable to even offer overnight service when NO ONE (due to your 1-2 day weasel clause) has a chance to get what they paid for and are expecting. And yes I see many others are having the same problems at http://www.resellerratings.com/store/ZipZoomFly and that your rating is tanking in the last 6 months because of it.
$14.16 is disputed for the overnight shipping charges. Product arrived late but in good condition. The seller has already responded with : RE: Zxxxxxxxx "Please note, it takes 1-2 business days for us to process an order. This information is also stated on our site. Your order has currently shipped out and was not delayed. For this reason, we will not be refunding the shipping charges to your order. "
