"After subscribing to BGE Home for several years and having experienced wonderful service from the repair folks who came to my home, I am now reconsidering keeping the service after my experience with the scheduling of a 'free' home inspection. I scheduled this inspection, which is supposed to be before the winter season starts. The date of my service was supposed to be Nov 18. However, I received an email, since deleted, which said I had to be at home from noon to 8 pm or so. In the meanwhile I have had other commitments which kept coming up so that I just couldn't keep the appointment. In the email I was told to reschedule if I couldn't keep the appointment. Now my preseason inspection is February 11. i said to the rep that the person would probably have to wade through snow to check all of my system by that time. There was no response from the person on the line. This is the first time in all the years I have been a BGE Home customer that I signed up for this 'free' service. Very sad"
