"I ordered a tailgate. It was pretty cheap so all I expected was a ok fit and no dents. When the part showed up it was clear it got dented before being shipped. Im no body man but since it was a good fit so I straightened out some of the dents best I could and left a review that represented my experience. A while later I got an email and they offered me a replacement or, the option I took, a partial refund on my purchase. I know crap happens and at the end of the day I'm good with a half price mildly used tailgate that I didn't have to drive 60 miles and pull out of someone's backyard."

"The only review for the hood included that it was a little damaged on arrival, so I was partially worried before. But there was a pretty big bend in the hood when I opened the seemingly undamaged package. I instantly started to email customer service where I quickly received a response from Emmy C. From there she was willing to work with me through email. She gave me several options, was very quick with responses, and was really polite. They sent me another hood free of charge, this one arrived in much better condition. Would recommend carports.com"

"As I wrote in my original review, the tail light assembly for the passenger side came with a burned-out back-up bulb. I just switched it for my old bulb after I realized what the problem was. So, not that big a deal. However, later that day I got a call and email from Car Parts apologizing for the error and offering me a $15 rebate make up for it. This was unexpected, but I was very impressed with the speed of this personal reply as soon as they became aware of the issue. In my mind this puts Car Parts in the extraordinary category for customer service among all companies I deal with. Very impressive, Car Parts. You get 5 stars from me! Thank you."
