"Initially I was very happy with my purchase of a Nikon DSLR. The website was easy and they promptly called me to confirm everything. However, the man that called to confirm my order proceeded to give me a sales pitch for accessories. I politely declined each one as I have everything I need. When he came to batteries he offered an '8-hour' battery for $80 and a '4 hour' battery for $50. I again declined. Then he said he'd cut me a deal and give me the 8 hour one for the price of the 4 hour one. Sadly, I fell for it. Lo and behold when I finally look into it (after the return policy is up), there's no such thing as an 'hour' rating for these batteries. Battery life is based on how many shots, if the flash is on, the screen brightness, etc. And they only have one nikon battery for sale on their website. It costs $50 and its the one they sent me. I don't know what that $80 version was that I was supposed to receive, but even the $50 version can be found easily for $20. I wasn't very happy, but afterwards they contacted me to resolve the issue and gave me a reasonable price on the extra battery. While i would have preferred to never have had this issue, I'm glad it was resolved and I can say that central digital is at least putting forth effort to make things right. That extra effort will keep me sticking around as a customer."
