"I ordered a Canon EOS T1i camera with a Canon 18-135 IS lens. The price was $896, probably $100 less than elsewhere.
The service was better than I had expected. I heard a lot of stories about the salesman's harassment. They only called me once to sell me a battery, which I flatly refused. They did not call again.
They shipped the order for free. Actually, there was a promotion for free expited shipment. I placed my order on Friday and received it on the next Thursday. I can't complain.
When I opened the package, I found the camera to be in a factory box, and the lens to be in a white box. I am not sure if both are factory sealed. But the camera box does say T1i, EF-S 18-135 kit. So it looks genuine.
I have not found the warranty. Is it in the sealed plastic bag with the manauls? I don't want to open it yet. I will call their customer service tomorrow to ask. If this product does not have a US warranty, I must return it, and I don't want to pay a restocking fee for having opened the seal.
I will update you on my finding. If the warranty is indeed in the sealed plastic bag, I will give this company a 5 star rating. If there is no warranty, I will give it a 1 star rating.

"Good service. fast delivery. And like to recommend this vendor to my friends."
"pros: Shipping was great. Ordered yesterday and should get it today. Price was right.
cons: Did not have a good experience with the sales rep. Was a litte pushy. I was pressured into buying an extra battery and when I called back minutes later to remove the battery from my order the sales rep was downright rude, hanging the phone up on me at the end. Not very professional at all.
Will review the product later after I've inspected and used it."
"After completely searching reviews of the particular camera we wanted to buy our kids for their upcoming trip to Europe, we decided on the Olympus 6020 Tough. We checked many many websites when I came upon Central Digital. I read the previous reviews which were mixed to very good, so since they were located in NY and we are in NJ, I thought it would be a safe bet to try them. We placed our order and 5 days later received our cameras as well as all the extras promised and purchased. As of right now, I have to say I am extremely pleased. I dealt with Mark who was very helpful and informative in helping me pick out everything I would need, and the price was exactly what was promised...no surprise charges I did not know about. I will definitely deal with Central Digital again!!"
"love my new Sony camera and the manager was able to help me resolve the issue I had... everything is working great now and very satisfied!

"They usually take much longer to process an order before shipping, as compared to other online stores. But apart from this, everything else was really good. The price was low, packaging was done well and quality of the product was as expected."
"I ordered a Fuji Z33 in Pink and Green which is a camera that i hve been looking up for quite a while but seems like it is no longer around.
Well CentralDigital had it in stock and i got a tracking # a day after it was ordered and got the camera within 3 days so this place really ROCKS.
Keep it up and Thank You"
"Ordered a Nikon D90. When it arrived, it was an open-item. All seals are open and wrapped back. "
"I ordered from this company due to positive reviews and supposedly fast service. I was extremely disappointed with their (complete lack of) customer service. First, they delayed my order by having me call them to VERIFY (which means spend a lot of time on hold and wait for them trying to upsell). I paid extra for Express shipping, but they waited several days before the order was even processed, and, as a result, I did not get my camera in time for vacation. I have contacted customer service three times and have received ZERO responses. Apparently, they have no online customer service at all and are only willing to "help" you if they think they can sell you more than your initial order. I will never order from them again. "
"I ordered the item with no problems and received it in less than a week.Price was the best on Bing.com and came with free bonuses. No calls were made and no pressure to purchase extra items-Came with all acessories and regular battery.Excellent service and would definitely purchase from again! "I bought a Canon Rebel XS:
Pros: Lowest price I could find and included free accessories (camera bag, mini tripod and cleaning supplies)
Cons: Called me the next day (Friday) and left a voicemail to say that they had to speak with me about my order. I tried to call back, but was on hold for too long, so I hung up. Tried to email them about what the problem was, but their email server was down. Forgot the next week to call them and they never tried me again. Remembered on Wednesday and called them, but they said they just shipped the order. Very odd and annoying that they just delayed the shipment for no reason.
However, I'm happy with the purchase - no problems yet."
"I purchased a Pentax K-x, rechargeable batteries and filters. The salesman taking my order was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I would buy from Central Digital again.
Thanks!

"I called the 800 phone number for Central Digital after seeing a note on the web next to the product listing to call for a better price for the item to which i was purchasing, the gentlemen that answered (Micky)did not even identify who he was or where I was calling, I had to ask "Is this Central Digital". He answered "Yes" and proceeded to push the conversation "Can I help you" along with what my purpose of the call was.
I had the item (Nikon D300S Camera Body) I was wanting to purchase ready, gave him the number provided on the website, and then as expected, I was bombarded with related upsell items . I stated to Micky "I needed only the camera body today".
I was then told by Mickey my total which was much higher that the price I saw online. I inquired as to what the price for the camera body was and I was told $1474.95, but my total was almost $1700.00, I asked what the difference was, he told me it was the battery.
Now I was born during the day, but it wasn't yesterday. I was ordering a camera body only, not a package, and typically when buying a body only that means (no accessories including NO BATTERY). However, almost $200 for a Camera battery, are you kidding me, I had flashbacks to the late 80's/early 90's.
I was then asked, by Mickey,"Have you placed an order with us before?. My answer was "No." He then said, "Hold on, let me see what I can do, he came back within 15 seconds, I can give you the battery for $179.00
I said I didn't ask for a battery, "I wanted to purchase only the Body today". Mickey proceeded to tell me "If I didn't use the battery included in the order and the CCD burnt out, it wouldn't be covered under warranty by Nikon". Well I should have stopped and said nevermind with the order and gone back and did my research, however I was down a Camera body, our group determined this was the one we wanted to purchase, and I needed to get it coming our way.
I proceeded and placed the order(with the Body + battery on the order).I later called Nikon product Support ***-***-**** and was told that the D300S uses the same EN-EL3e battery that was used in our other existing Camera bases we were utlizing, (2) D100, (1)D700, and the 3rd D100 that this D300S is replacing. We currently have (16) batteries in rotation and we need another Battery like I need a hole in my head.
I also recevied an email yesterday June 17th stating I needed to contact Danielle regaring my recent order. They were having "difficulties" processing my order. Once Again I called the ***-***-**** stated in the email and the greeting on the phone was "Can I help you". No name, no company. Again I had to ask, did I reach Central Digital?
I may be a bit old fashion, but is it too much to announce to the person calling you who you are and where they have called?
Well, my order was shipped promptly from Central Digital, rest assured with my Annual Budget for photography Equipment and Accesories of $25,000 for 2010 and a little less than 1/2 still to be spent, none of that money will be spent with Central Digital again.
As a side note (EN-EL3e battery can be purchased in hundreds of places for $19-$25 each) Man I hope this $179 battery can take it's own photos?
Not impressed, not impressed at all with Central Digital.
At this point,I don't trust a word that would be spoken my whomever answering the phone at Central Digital concerning what my needs are at this point.
I work for a online/print catalog mail house in the Automotive Industry, we monitor calls in our call Centers, and I hope Digital Central reviews there calls. Micky and Danielle are doing Central Digital a great "disservice" by their "CUSTOMER NO SERVICE".
STAY AWAY FROM CENTRAL DIGITAL"
"I would never buy from them again. Their listed price was way too high, and they only dropped it after I said I was going to cancel the order; then in the "great deal" package, they included two non-Canon batteries that won't stay charged. (A photographer friend said those batteries are no good, that the Canon batteries are the only reliable ones.) I called to tell a rep that, and they wouldn't believe me, much less offer to help. Avoid these guys!"
"When I complained about the customer service, the company’s representative apologized and promised to compensate me for all the inconvenience and extra expenses.
It made me to think that they are sensitive to their customers’ opinion and want to favor them. I appreciate it.
