"Ordered the Kodak Z700 digital camera from these guys. I ordered the camera Sunday night (8-21-2005). Paid the $20, for the 3 day fed-ex. Why not, the Camera was only $174 from here. If you go to any other store its $249. So even paying for the 3 day delivery, it still cost me less. And I did receive the camera on Thurs. Camera was brand new, never opened. Unlike some of the other places you might run into, who would sell you a refurb or used as a new.
I'd order from here again.

"I think many of the postive comment posted below are by bogus and by this store to make them look good. The true rating for this store should be 1 to 2. No confirmation of ordering. Lying to me that the order was cancal.being rude on the phone. and when i send the unopening package back, it took 5 weeks for them to credit it back to my CC. Do not deal with these Lairs and thief. BUYER BEWARE. you have been warn!"

"They have there guys fill out all the review centre posts eopinion resellerrating,yahoo shopping etc etc to give higher rating to there store. Most of the items with this seller is open items.When a buyer purchases an item they would go through there sick inventory to check if they have it. If they do they repack it again,in original boxes and ship it to you however as in most cases if they don't have it they would charge the buyer's credit card and then hunt brooklyn stores in order to find an open or returned or little damaged item.And then buy and ship it through there own courier that's afflicated to fedex but not fedex itself (That's why they cannot give you the tracking number) coz they do not have it themselves. Meantime the buyer keeps on calling or remain tense regarding his/her hard earned money being wasted.IF any product is returned they then wait for prolong period trying to sell of that returned item or return it to the place they purchased it from.And when they receive the money, or if they r able to make fool of someone else....they gradually give you the money after say couple of months...but after charging huge shipping and handling fees.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM.And they have a team of guys who r paid to post good reviews so that they can scam other's.If any goverment agency is watching track these retards down and make the internet safe place to shop.And if any buyer is watching this review....You have been warned.

"I ordered the Sony VX2100 on line- straight, no packages. I didn't get an upsize call- good. They say it takes about 48 hours to put the order in the system. Ordered Tuesday it shipped Friday. It arrived in good condition. The price was very good. The results were pretty good. I just felt uneasy about the process, but I suppose I would buy from them again if the price was "very" right. Otherwise, B&H ships out much faster."

"Ordered a digital camera on 8/2, was in stock, but did not ship until 8/9. The day after I ordered, I got an email saying I had to call to confirm my order and they tried to sell me extended warranties and such. Fortunately, they didn't push too hard or charge me more. Customer service was hard to reach, I had to sit on hold 15-20 minutes each time I called. The times I did get through to them, they were not at all friendly or helpful. On Friday I called and they said it would ship Monday, then they didn't ship it until Tuesday. They are also very slow to update their online system. I complained about their poor customer service and shipping speed and they gave me attitude about it. The product came alright and intact, albeit over a week later than I expected it. It was very poorly packaged, having a much larger cardboard box outside the product box with a small air bag on top. The product box was able to shake about 6 inches from side to side inside the outer box and could have easily gotten damaged in shipment.

Overall, I was very displeased with the buying experience. Although I eventually got the product and it was a good price, it was a worrysome experience and I was on edge up until I finally received the tracking number. Even then, I was concerned about it being damaged or open box, due to reviews I dug up after ordering.

"After reading concerns about lack of secure web ordering I decided to phone in my order (Panasonic PV-GS65). They took my order quickly and only lightly tried to sell me a few extras (didn't press after I declined). I got an email with shipping tracking # about 2 hours later. Showed up a day early even, only two days after placing order! They had the best price and everything was very smooth and easy. Definately would buy from them again.

PS. I agree about their poor packaging though. Fortunately the manufacturer's original product packaging was enough to keep it undamaged.

"I was not happy with this store at all. It took three days for my order to get posted on-line, then they charged my credit card, but didn't ship the camera. I was lied to for three straight days. They kept on telling me that the camera was going to ship, but it never did. I talked to several people, and they all lied to me. I finally cancelled my order and bought it cheaper somewhere else."

"Order was quickly shipped, but the Nikon 5900 had bad spot on CCD. I exchanged defective 5900 for a Canon SD300 and I was told there would be no restocking fee since the camera was defective by the man who initiated my RMA. I made sure to check that box and provide explanation on the RMA form I included in the return box.
However, I was charged not only a 10% restocking fee, but also for shipping of the new camera back to me (which I've NEVER heard of before). This more than tripled the cost since the difference between the cameras I bought was only $16 but was charged almost $60.
When I asked, I was told they didn't know it was defective (despite filling out that field on the RMA form) and was told I'd be credited for restocking, but not the shipping. I said ok, thinking that it wasn't worth arguing about the remaining shipping cost.
However, one week later my card had not been credited. When I called I was told she was "printing it out right now to hand to the manager" and he'd take care of it within the next day.
Another week later when I called (now 14 days exactly after starting this process to acquire my refund) I was told "it looks like it didn't go through the first time, I'll submit it again" and then was asked "Is there something else I can send you, like a case, since it's easier to put through than a credit." I've never heard of a card refund being difficult and was irritated at them trying to get me to use my credit to shop more (and probably would be charged again on the extra shipping). I declined and said I'd like the credit.
After one more week, I decided to call up American Express and challenge the charge since IBuyDigital obviously was not going to refund me my money.
I can't recommend the store because of this process. I was very happy with the speed of shipping and the man who set up my exchange, but the same female rep I talked to three times never credited me for the restocking (or shipping) which added $42 to the price difference of $16.
If you buy from them, I hope you do not have to return or exchange the item. If you do, make sure you keep a record of your calls in the event you need to initiate a dispute over an inappropriate charge.

"Placed order for Nikon 8800 digital camera on Sunday with 3 day Fedex shipping so it should arrive for a graduation on Saturday. A CSR called on Thursday afternoon to verify my address, which was the same as the credit card billing address. He said the camera wouldn't arrive in time and only the Father's Day special would. I canceled the order. Have never been called by any company to verify my shipping address when it is the same as the CC billing address. In addition this was 4 days after the order was placed and when I expected the camera to arrive."

"I tried to purchase a TV from CentralDigital and have it shipped to an address different than from my credit card. They came back and told me that I would have to pre-pay for the order using a money order. I did.

They than deposited my certified check and made me wait 2 weeks before they released the order, even though the money order from Bank of America was as good as cash.

I then called them EIGHT consecutive days, every day they would tell me that my order had shipped that day before (even though it had never left their warehouse). EIGHT times they lied to me promising me that the order had already been shipped.

I now see that the order was picked up by their shipping company (FOUR weeks after I placed the order). When I checked with the shipping company, THEY HAD THE WRONG ADDRESS!
