As I mentioned above, the auto reply said that I would receive a response within 2 to 3 business days. A week went by with no response which caused me to call the 800 number"

"Good experience - I initially contacted my utility provider, Delmarva Power, after receiving a voice mail message on my landline twice stating that This is an apology call from your utility provider re: an over charge by my third party supplier & press 1 to receive my rebate check & 30% discount. I did not press 1 as the caller did not identify himself as Delmarva Power (just 'utility provider') & did not identify my 'third party supplier' as Constellation - so seemed suspicious & I wasn't sure what would happen if I pressed 1. I am becoming more & more concerned re: scams calls that seem like they come every day even though I'm on the 'Donotcall.gov registry' & report them. The Delmarva rep that I called said they would not call, but would send a letter. The Constellation rep said she saw no evidence of an overcharge or rebate due. I asked if there had been other callers re: this message & she said a few that did press 1 & then a click & nothing - So my question/concern is who are these callers & what are they looking for when the person presses 1 ?????"
