"Well, all I can do is echo what has been written before. Dbuys is the real deal. I too did considerable research before buying my Canon G3 digcam and although Dbuys wasn't the absolute lowest, they were among the two or three lowest _reputable_ companies offering the camera. No arm twisting to buy other stuff at all. Although I remain confused why an internet order requires a one to two day wait and a phone call before it ships.
Couple of things: Dbuys said they'd ship 3-day Fedex, and the invoice says just that, but it took eight days to get this little 5-pound box from NY to SLC, UT. I don't know if it was all Dbuys fault though, the tracking page for Fedex had the package going all over the North East, NY, PA, NJ, then to TN and finally on out to UT. Man, I would've liked to take that trip!
Second, my G3 essentially died about two days outside the return window Dbuys supports. One phone call to a cat named Jim, Ext. 208, and only a little arm wrestling got an RMA to exchange the camera. Jim is a good man, and this is the sort of treatment that'll will keep me coming back. Thanks, Jim and Dbuys.
By the way, Canon has evidently dropped the ball on QC and CS. There are myriad reports of Powershot cameras with multiple problems lately and most of the word from consumers is Canon could care less. In fact, after owning my G3 just ten days they cavalierly said: "Just send it to us, we'll crack it open and try and fix it."
Not the response one wants to hear after dropping over 500 bucks on a brand new camera. Canon has lost a future customer I can assure you of that.
But, Dbuys has earned a customer for life.
