"7/19/22: Purchased an Empire Flint Hill 24" gas log set. Burner positions did not correspond to what the knob said. Requested new knob. Waited 5 weeks. No response. Magically, they sent me a new knob as soon as I filed dispute with credit card company. Problem was that it was the same knob and burner positions did not match up. Sent fireplace back. Got refund. Purchased new one. Company cancelled my order 24 hours later claiming they cant sell to me because I filed a dispute previously so now I'm on their blacklist.

I would avoid this online retainer. Their prices are attractive, but customer service is horrible. Stay away from Empire as well. Go with a better brand like Monessen or Rasmussen."
