I won't go into all details,only that after no shipment of order(08/18/03)only (2)responses(in which co.stalled)falsely promising the return of my money to over ten email inquiries,charging of my creditcard AFTER ORDER CANCILLATION,hoping to recieve some kind of mediation by reporting the illegal practices of e-tech to the BBB,only to recieve thier responce of,I qoute"As you are aware, the BBB has been pursuing the mediation of your complaint. Unfortunately,we have not been able to effect a satisfactory resolution. Your complaint has been closed on a dissatisfied note and will remain a part of the bureau's file information on the firm." So if you've got money to burn, please send it to me insted of E-tech, at least you'll recieve a ThankYou reply from me!"
"All I can say is KEEP AWAY. This is the type of company that gives the internet a bad name. Customer Service was non-existent.
I ordered on 08-AUG-2003. Product was delivered 21-AUG-2003 despite my attempt to cancel. Also, product was delivered without any confirmation (which is a UPS issue) but nontheless this could have been avoided. I asked for and received an RMA, and sent the product back.
As of 25-NOV-03, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED CREDIT FOR MY PURCHASE RETURN. I contacted the credit card company to receive a temporary credit. STAY AWAY!"
"These people are a scam. I paid for my product months ago and never heard from them again, so I emailed them and they said they would cancel my order and refund my money. Well they did cancel my order, but I have yet to get a dime of my money back. I have never had such a horrific time purchasing anything online compared to this. This "business" makes even the most average online store seem like gods of the reselling world. Stay away from this site and its affilates. Being in college I don't have the money or time to form a lawsuit against them, but I have contacted the BBB of West Florida, ConsumerAffairs.com, and the IFCC. I hope anyone who goes after these guys wins. Man am I angry though."

Just received e-mail stating "due to recent unforseeable or (?) uncontrollable circumstances, we at eTechwarehouse will be unable to continue operations" , "At this point we advise you to take appropriate actions with your credit card issuing banks to ensure that your funds are credited to your account". They take your money and tell you it's your responsibility to get it back? This is theft! "

3 weeks later nothing.
Call in to find out why, 1 item on backorder. Say thanks for letting 3 weeks go by without informing me. Cancel the backordered item.
Another 2 weeks go by and still no shipment.
Call in and cancel the rest. They say it will take 7-10 business days to process credit request.
3 weeks later call to find out where my money is, the little man that I speak to says he'll notify higher ups of the situation.
Another couple weeks go by and I send them another email and I get the very same messages other have got about terminating operations.
After screaming and yelling I did call the bank and I believe I will get refunded through them still."

they told me they would be refunding me
its now November 9th and I got this email from them here is the email I recieved on nov 7th

unfortunately we have not been able to find a resolution that will allow us
to solve the problems causing our current delays in both product and credit
fulfillment. We truly believed that we would always be able to find a
solution that would allow us to continue to improve our services and
provide you with quality products, at affordable prices.
At this point we advise you to take appropriate actions with your card
issuing banks to ensure that your funds are credited back to your account.
This can be done simply by calling the customer service phone number
located on the back of your credit card. Simply tell the support
representative that the company that you placed your order with was unable
to deliver goods in a timely fashion and is unable to issue credits at this
time. Since we have discontinued our relationship with credit card
processor we do not have the ability to even request a credit
authorization back to your credit card at this time.
I am deeply sorry for not being able to serve you better. Although our
intentions were always honorable and just, we still feel badly for putting
you through this ordeal. On behalf of the entire eTechWarehouse staff, I

"This company SUCKS!!!! They sent us a damaged printer, took it back in August, and as of November, we still haven't gotten a replacement or a refund. I have filed complaints with the BBB, Epson, and Visa. Visa is investigating and my file fraud charges against them.
ETechwarehouse doesn't respond to complaints, they don't even have a person that will answer the phone. I have e-mailed and faxed them countless times and still have no response.
Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY FROM ETECHWAREHOUSE, you'll get screwed."
"I ordered a Mac video card from eTechwarehouse in August. My credit card was charged the following day (which was not expected -- good vendors don't charge until a product ships). Nothing came after two months, so I cancelled the order October 10 and expected a prompt credit. I have still not received the credit and am worried that the company is either going out of business or a scam operation. My father sent e-mail to ETW about 5 days ago, warning them of impending action. We are notifying the Office of Attorney General of the State of Minnesota. Will this forum do me any good?"
"Avoid this retailer like the plague. Ordered an item in Sept., cancelled the order a week later when it hadn't shipped. It's been almost six weeks since the cancellation and still no credit to my credit card....and this is for an item that never even shipped. No excuses for this extremely bad service."

I ordered 1 Epson Stylus Printer Photo 825 on August 25th, few days later, ETech sent me an mail telling that there will be an delay. I waited till it really frustrated me and I cancelled my order on September 15th after 2 weeks+ of waiting...
The worse thing came later which is I never got my credit back until today, October 23rd, 2003 despite mails that I had sent to them...
I couldn't believed that my situation were same as most of recent reviewers' complaints.
