"This is the worst store I've ever seen. I ordered a Dell 0N6250 keyboard, and after a good long wait, it finally arrived. But, oh, some clever individual thought it would be a good idea to NOT TELL ME and put in some keyboard that is similar, but nowhere near what I ordered. No one told me about this, no email was sent. "Well, I placed my order on July 24 for the SK-8135 keyboard after I found out that they had this keyboard for a good price. This was my first mistake. A week goes by and my order has not shipped but my credit card has been charged for five days. Now I start to wonder when the package is going to ship so I call them and ask them about my order. The CSR tells me that they ran out of stock for that keyboard (after they had charged my card already) and they could send me a different keyboard (SK-8125) or just let me wait until the keyboard I ordered came back in stock. I tell them I will just wait until the right keyboard comes back in stock and they say that is fine. Imagine my surprise the next day when I get an e-mail that my order has shipped. I was very excited until I opened the box. They sent me the SK-8125 after I told them I didn't want it. So I called them and was told that I would have to call back when the RMA department is open(from 9-11 am PST). I ended up getting a refund but the whole thing was just a big ordeal and I want to be sure nobody else has to deal with this."
"Where to start with this company. I placed an order for a Dell keyboard from them roughly 2 weeks ago, paying extra for *fedex ground* service as other shipping methods seem to have issues with my area. I was also charged a flat rate insurance value, but as it turns out, they don't insure items USPS, so they charged me that for nothing. That night I am given a tracking number, but as it turns out, this was just a randomly generagted invalid number and not a real tracking number. To top it off, its a USPS Parcel Post tracking number. So now I am wondering what is messed up in there system, and give them a call 2-3 days later wondering where my package is. Turns out they were out of stock, and that is the number they will use once it shipped... wait a second, I paid for Fedex Ground service. The female customer service person then tells me they will switch it to Fedex Ground service for me, and I get off the phone feeling quite happy about this company. They *fixed* something for me with little hassle.
Next week monday comes around and I recieve a email confirmation telling me the package has shipped, and low and behold, a USPS PARCEL POST tracking number. So now on top of this the company lied to me, and is shipping it Parcel Post anyways, which will take 1-2 weeks to get here. Thanks eTech.
But the story doesn't end there. This order was placed after someone from one of my online communities let people know about this great deal on the surplus Dell keyboard. Maybe 20 orders were put through, and so far everyone has been recieving the wrong keyboard, and noone has yet to recieve the correct one. So not only is this place scamming people on shipping costs and pocketing the change, they also scam you on the product as well.
This is one customer who will never order from this site again.
UPDATE: 8-10-2005
Got my box today (just took over 11 days of shipping because of the whole Parcel Post deal), and it is the wrong item. Now I see that eTech has responded to this comment, but they never gave an explaination for shipping the same wrong keyboard to many people. Who cares if you get 1000 orders for a certain keyboard. If you sell out of it, tell the people. Don't just make them feel happy thinking they are getting it, and then waste there money by shipping them a keyboard they didn't order.

They have refunded my shipping costs on the 2 keyboards, and have given a discount on the 2 incorrect keyboard. I feel this situation has been fixed, glad the company pulled through on this."
"Order was placed for a nice dell keyboard. They ran out and shipped me some generic-looking dell keyboard, probably in an attempt to pass it off as what I ordered. I called and placed the recommended rma, but I still have yet to hear anything.
I will be calling my bank for a chargeback if they do not remedy the situation immediately if not sooner."
"On July 26, 2005, I placed an order for 3 sound cards from etech4sale.com. It was listed that there were 20 in stock. My credit card was charged immediately, but on August 4, the item still has not shipped. The website was down twice when I attempted to check on my order. I finally found the number to call them. After quite some time waiting on busy signals, I reached someone who said that she thought the items were backordered but didn't know why my package had not shipped (I got a tracking number the first day, but FedEx says there was no package to pick up).
Very unhappy with this seller so far, would not recommend. I will post updates as I try to resolve this situation. I would not recommend dealing with them though."

"Where to start. My order was place on June 10th. Had to make several calls before they shipped my order. Every time I called the said they would ship it out that day. Finally on June 15th it shipped. Received on June 21st. Computer had bad DVD drive, bad hard drive/wrong brand hard drive, and missing modem. Had to ship back defective parts at my expense. Waited 2 days of receipt of defective parts expecting at least an email. Got nothing so I called and the hadn't even looked at them yet. They agreed to ship out a hard drive since it wasn't the right brand anyway. Long story short, here it is 30 days after placing my order and I'm still waiting on the rest of my parts. Very poor cust. serv.--never again.
Follow up: Today I have finally received the remainder of my order. 39 days after placement of order to final resolution of order. I now have everything I was supposed to get and everything works, but it was way too frustrating and long. My advice is skip this company even if they are a little cheaper than the competition. "
