"I found the Clarion SRS1624 car speakers I wanted at etronics for only $69.99 + $12 shipping for a total of $81.99. They were (and still are) described as "In stock. Usually ships in 1-2 days". I ordered them on July 9th and by July 14th the order status was still "processing". I tried calling but after being on hold for 15 I hung up and emailed them instead. Within a few hours I got an email saying they had suddenly run out of the speakers and some time in the future they would get them back in stock. So now I have to cancel my order what a hassle! I should have just stuck with sounddomain.com They even match prices.
Even though the prices are cheaper and there seems to be a lot of selection, I think most items etronics does NOT have in stock, even though it says it does."

"On April 26, 2003, I made an purchase order of Kenwood DPX-MP4030 with American Express credit card. The order number is 590860 . The next day, April 27, 2003, I got an email from them telling that I need to call American Express for the alternate shipping address as attached emaile below. The email also said "Please email us at ****@**** to resolve this matter". I never called American Express to add the alternate shipping address. Instead, I already had the alternate shipping address with my Citbank Master Card, so I made another order with my Master Card (order number 594016) and email them to "resolve the matter" by asking them to cancel order number 590860 because I had made another order (594016) with another credit card. On April 28, 2003 I got email from them saying "Thank you for your correspondence. We have successfully verified the information that you provided, and your order is now being processed for shipment." I really wonder if they really read my "correspondence" because on April 29, 2003, there were two identical items shipped out to me. When I saw the 2 shipping confimation emails, I immediatly called them. The representative told me not to worry. Just reject one of the shipment and things will be taken care off. I did what he told and they finally charged me for the shipping and handling. I wrote them another 2 letters trying to explain that it was not my fault and they should return the shipping fee. They never respond to my last 2 emails. I put the charge in dispute. They still refused to refund the shipping fee. Finally AMEX picked up the tab paying for it.

I placed my order on June 13, 2003 and have not received a UPS tracking number until I wrote an email saying that I will call my credit card company to cancel this order.
Then on June 19, 2003 I received an email with a UPS tracking number. On June 20 at 2:00 PM PST, the tracking number is still not activated on the UPS web site.
I think this company has a very lousy service and I will never ever order anything from them again. I also advice any body to think twice before placing any order from them.

"I have to give credit where credit is due. My experience was EXCELLENT. I read reviews of some people having bad experiences, but their price was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than all others, so I took a chance. I ordered a Clarion 6-disc cd changer for my Saab. Order 6/11. I picked the cheapest shipping option. I STILL got it 6/16. Right product, packaged well, and in perfect condition. This transaction could not have gone better. The changer was $125 with $15 shipping. That was AT LEAST $30 cheaper than the next cheapest, and $50 less than most. I can only speak for my experience, but I have to give credit, it was GREAT. "First of all I returned some defective speakers, it took over 3 MONTHS to get the replacements back. Also don't buy from this company if you expect a refund for you non-working merchandise. I sent back my amplifier, they said it was credited the 20th of March but It never showed up on my credit statement. They told me there was nothing they could do, so now I have to dispute it with the credit company. Im not going to buy anything from these guys again because of these experiences in poor customer service."
