" The right tools in a nice package, Thanks I really like the set. "
"memory fits and works one bank only i guess i will have to get some low density, they work fine on amd , but not on hp lubin mother boards"
"My brother did the replacement which took a bit since my battery was really old, but once it was installed and recalibrated it seems to be going well.
It's great to have a laptop that can be used without the charger!"
"Replacement battery seems great quality, just installed so time will tell, but at least it worked like a charm after installing. The tutorial to replace it on my Huawei P10 was also extremely easy to follow, although taking the phone apart took a bit more effort than the tutorial leads on.
This is is my second purchase from iFixit and while with the first one I had to return the item and wait for a second one, I'm overall satisfied with their products and tutorials for their good prices, detailed tutorials and good customer service."
"Easy to use site, perfect parts and quick shipping. What more could a buyer want! Will definitely use iFixit again if parts are needed for any of my Apple products."
"My only complaint is the refurbished product. I ordered a Grade A MacBook Pro Keyboard assembly and the hardware works however I spent an hour cleaning it because it has all sorts of residue in the cracks and hairs under the plastic plating. But overall was a good experience. The shipping material was really well done. You could drop an expensive part from the roof in that stuff and it would be fine."
"I had to replace my screen a couple days ago, and ordered the part from here. It got here quickly and the repair went off without a hitch. The one thing I’ve been noticing intermittently is that the depth of color on the new screen isn’t quite up to par with genuine parts, but who am I to complain!"
"All of the parts I've ever received, including this one, work great and do exactly what they're supposed to. Thanks iFixit!"
"The shipping took about a week, the repair was very easy I replaced the MacBook Pro’s battery without any problems, removed the super drive for a dual Hard Drive setup, works great. Prices and pretty high but can’t complain because of the great quality. I also used an iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit, it had everything that I needed to do the repair."
"The iPod was really difficult to open, and then the glue that was holding part of the headphone jack wiring assembly together failed as I tried to unplug it. So I managed to replace a dead battery with a new one (although it won't charge to 100%, even though I followed the Battery Calibration instructions), but lost headphone jack function in the process. I still have audio via the Dock Connector, so the device is still usable. All in all I give 4 stars to IFIXIT for the kit and instructions, and a totally mixed 2.5 stars to Apple for building stuff that lasts, but cannot be user-serviced. I am really glad none of my computers have glued-in components!"
"I have a first generation Apple watch and the seal of the watch face failed and so the face was falling of the watch housing. iFixit sold new seals and had videos to guide me through the repair easily. I had already purchased tools for an iFIixit replacement of my old iphone 5SE battery. With each iFixit repair, I feel more confident and I love to repair rather than replace when possible! Thanks iFixit.
John"
"Your tools, parts and videos all worked well. Had no issues "
"Product came in quickly. We were able to follow the instructions easily. Only issue we had was getting the 'glue' that was holding the original battery out."
"I did succeed but the job isn't finished. The home button is a bit loose and I'll have to take the display off to tighten it. To start, I used the razor blade, heat gun method and was able to work a very broken display off in about an hour. I used packing tape to keep most of the broken pieces together. The 'clip' that holds the LCD ZIF connector in place is very fragile and broke off with the tape used to hold the assembly together. I used new tape to hold the connection together. Also the camera mount gasket was lost when I removed the old display and protective plastic housing would not stay in place during reinstall. Two very small drops of super glue helped here. Aligning the home button is tricky. The housing/clip for the back of the home button must be parallel with the bottom of the unit and attached well. Use double sided table in tiny amounts to the button housing in place. Too much will raise the housing up and the display will not seal. I didn't find any adhesive strip with the new display so I'm kinda running with the sticky residue that was left. There are no instructions on what film to remove from the new display (red tabs to pull). Be very careful not remove plastic that is not attached with a red tab. Mostly the instructions provided were typical and were untested before released. My background as a Human Factors engineer with thousands of hours of user testing compels me to be honest here. This is not an easy fix and these instructions only work in the very smallest and most ideal of circumstances. Be very careful and do your research. "
"The instruction slides on the bottom of the page assisted a lot with the screen replacement "
