"New screen came without adhesive for home button which no longer stays attached. For the price it should come with all nessecary adhesive as stated in title. "
"The battery is attached to the circuit board by 2 sticky thin strips that you pull out/ off, at which point they become a ball of sticky goop that you cannot reuse.
The maintenance guide does mention these strips; "Pull straight out on the black ends of the battery adhesive strips until they come off." The repair kit options do not mention these strips.
Unfortunately they are really required and I had to find a work around to fix the battery in place."
"Ordered 1st battery, along with tools. Although there were no instructions in the box, I found the You Tube video. The battery was easy enough to install, but when I tried the Hard Reset- the phone was dead. I plugged it into my charger, and let it go for over 12 hours, the phone still read 54% . When I unplugged the phone it would die. I then replaced it with the old battery, and it works, just doesn't hold a charge very long.
I called Customer Support, and they sent me another battery, received the 2nd
battery---- Same Thing all over again-- 3rd battery is on the way...
I gave 2 stars because the Customer service rep, Tom was very nice.

"Terrible shipping time!It took 9 days from order until delivery. Unacceptable"
"Kit worked perfectly, fit like a glove, and me and my business are back up and running! "
"The tools are very useful and it help me a lot!"
"The battery of my laptop is down but the Apple store asks for 200+ USD to fix it. With half of that cost, I was able to fix it myself. The battery replacement was pretty complicated but ifixit has a great guide-through which helped me through. Great solution!"
"No working the keyboard, 3 keys fails"
"Extremely easy replacement and new battery works great!"
"I order a batter about a week ago and it came in less than a week I was very satisfied. The battery was in great condition thr only thing that would be better is if would of came with a little bit of tools for the job other than that I was pretty pleased ."
"Arrived in excellent condition. Following the guide the repair went with no problems and was easier than expected. "
"Tried replacing the battery in my Moto Z force droid. Followed guide instructions to a T and yet the battery will not charge. I've tried reseating the battery connection a couple different ways to no avail. Guide for the Z force was very vague on reassembly.
Overall I am more unhappy with the replacement battery then anything. "
"This was my first fix. I needed to replace the battery on my MacBook Air. Since I live in the middle of nowhere, we don't have an Apple Store to take it in. Apple says, "no problem, you can mail it to us and we can replace the battery....but we will charge 536.00". I almost dropped the phone I was laughing so hard. Ordered from iFixit and the battery kit was here within a week. Easy as pie to replace. I will advise you to keep really good track of your screws as you remove them. I used a rectangular dish and layed each out in the order they were removed. There are something like 20 screws! Make certain you get the screwdriver as they are odd sizes! Good luck!"
"This wasn't my first fix, and because of the iOpener, it will certainly not be my last. The iOpener is advertised as a replacement to heat guns or hair dryers, but it is slow and ineffective. It's awkward to use and does not properly heat the adhesive holding the screen on. Because of this, the user has to tug or pry a bit harder than they would if they use a heat gun or hair dryer. If I were to do it all over again, I would have bought a cheap battery on ebay and used a heat gun to quickly and effectively soften the adhesive. Because I didn't do that in the first place, I have to buy a new screen and digitizer for around $100 (It won't be from here). Save yourself the time and money. Buy your repair part for a third of the price on ebay. "
"As the title says, the process for replacing an iPhone 6S+ battery was super simple. It wasn't my first fix on Apple products, and it certainly won't be my last. I tried getting replacement products from amazon only, but having gone through a few bad experiences, I've decided that iFixIt is my exclusive provider for any repairs. "
