"The sale was fine, an external drive for mac, but OWC Drive Guide to install it doesn't run. Three calls to support of over half an hour on hold with no indication when someone might pickup, having to listen annoying music and irritating sales messages. Email to support got an immediate standard "we'll get back to you in 1-2 days" message, nothing since, now it has a week and counting. I want to use this drive, but with no support maybe the only solution is to return. Of course then, how long to get a credit? I get sales emails from OWC probably every second day. Put more effort into support. I've made many purchases from OWC without problem with sale or ever needing support. Is a bad review the only way to get any help? I guess I'll find out. Thinking twice about ever buying again."

"I followed the directions to change the battery explicitly, yet when I try to use my laptop, it’ll work properly for maybe 3-5 minutes before it shuts off. I have to use it while plugged into the charger or it’ll shut off and won’t turn back on. If your laptop is dead af and won’t turn on for anything and you’re looking to try to replace the battery yourself, your best bet is to bring it into an apple store. I wish i would’ve done that. "

"Years ago, I had purchased another MiniStack for a Time Machine Back up on my Mac. Thank the computer Gods I had it. My hard drive refused to boot up and after 1 1/2 hours at the Apple store, they said it was dead. Fortunately the years old Ministack I had used for the Time Machine was funtioning perfectly. It easily transfered the data to my new Mac and it was all over in a matter of an hour. An exact copy of what I had lost. This time I bought 2 new Mini Stacks for both our Macs. Easy to install and it sits right under the stand for the new Mac. "
